Chapter 1171: Chapter 1173: Uncle, Long Time No See
Upon hearing from the bodyguard that Sophie Sullivan has returned, he immediately put on his clothes and went back to the suite.
The card opens the door, Andres smiles brightly as he looks at the figure standing in the center of the living room, "Cecilia Branford, you’re back?"
Sophie Sullivan gradually turns around, her eyes are hazy yet cold, carrying a sharp glint as she looks at him.
Andres feels something is off, but for a while, he can’t quite put his finger on it; his smile pauses for a moment, "Cecilia, what’s wrong?"
"Uncle, long time no see."
A soft voice, with some arrogance.
Andres’s whole body shakes, his pupils instantly constrict, his tall body starts trembling lightly, subconsciously he closes the door reflexively.
Bang!
The door of the suite is tightly shut, Andres stares at Sophie Sullivan, unbelieving, tentatively asks: "...Cecilia?"
Is she... Cecilia?
That voice, Andres couldn’t be more familiar, only his proud niece could have.
But wasn’t Cecilia disfigured, her throat ruined, and her memory lost?
Later, he learned that the fire had already burned everything in the asylum to ashes.
He naturally thought that Cecilia also perished in that sea of fire, turned to ashes.
"After over a year without seeing each other, has Uncle forgotten even his niece?" Sophie Sullivan hooks her lips into a smile, raises her delicate chin slightly, her eyes carrying a strange dark glint.
Being stared at by her felt like being wrapped by a cold giant python, gradually tightening around his neck.
The oxygen starts becoming thin, until finally suffocating to death.
Andres feels as if his throat has been pinned down, he doesn’t come back to his senses for half a day.
Sophie Sullivan quietly waits, after a long time, Andres regains his voice, steps forward a few steps, trying to approach her: "It’s so good, Cecilia, you’ve finally come back, Uncle really missed you."
When Andres was three steps away from Sophie Sullivan, she extends her hand, her voice slow yet carrying an imposing air: "Stop."
Andres not only doesn’t stop but opens his arms, smiling: "Cecilia, it’s good that you’ve come back, it’s good that you’ve come back..."
He unexpectedly pulls out a pistol, a fierce glint passes through his eyes, aiming at Sophie Sullivan, he says sinisterly: "Go to hell!"
Sophie Sullivan remains calm and composed, before Andres can pull the trigger, Derek Clark shoots him in the wrist.
Andres cries out in pain, his arm drops weakly, the pistol falls to the ground.
Sophie Sullivan raises her foot, steps on the gun, staring coldly at Andres, "Andres, that scene just now was already recorded. If you want to live, I advise you to behave."
Andres covers his bleeding wrist, only now realizing that the guards hidden in the suite have all come out.
Leading them is Derek Clark, he respectfully bows his head to Sophie Sullivan, "Miss Cecilia Branford, pardon us for frightening you."
"It’s fine." Sophie Sullivan waves her hand indifferently, turns around and sits down on the sofa.
Derek Clark immediately bends down and picks up Andres’s pistol.
The drastic change came too suddenly; until now, Andres realizes that Cecilia didn’t come back alone.
Her appearance has recovered, her voice has recovered, even her memory has returned.
She didn’t come unprepared, she came seeking him with a plan and purpose...
Wait a minute!
Where is Isabel?
Andres just remembers that Isabel, who was impersonating Cecilia, he hasn’t been able to contact for several days now.
