The other Grandmasters glanced toward her with visible jealousy. However, since the candidate had already made her choice, there was nothing they could do anymore.
"Next, Gloria Azustera."
Gloria flinched slightly the moment her name was called.
She then slowly walked toward the platform while nervousness filled her heart as the eyes of the highest-ranking members of the Academy Houses focused entirely on her.
’Which monster should I choose?’ she thought hesitantly.
"Ehem!" One of the Grandmasters suddenly coughed impatiently, signaling her to hurry up.
Gloria immediately closed her eyes and placed her hand over her chest.
"Come and shine, Lumikee!"
A bright light instantly filled the platform before a monster appeared and began circling around the hall gracefully.
The monster resembled a tiny girl with four small wings on her back while holding a key-shaped staff in her hand. Its overall size was only comparable to that of a small child.

Many female students throughout the hall immediately became interested in the adorable appearance of the monster.
Lumikee circled around the entire hall gracefully before suddenly stopping above Oliver. The small fairy-like monster stared at him curiously for several seconds.
Oliver also looked back at it. Then, Lumikee quickly flew back toward Gloria.
"Another Rank S..." Oliver muttered softly. A smile slowly appeared on his face.
"A fairy-type monster!" Nala excitedly raised his hand immediately. However, just like before, all the other Houses also raised their hands at the same time.
"I raised my hand first! That means I should get to recruit her." Nala complained loudly.
"Unfortunately, that is not how this works, Grandmaster Nala." Angelique replied elegantly with a smile.

The top three houses were simply too dominant. Whenever one of them raised their hands for a candidate, the candidate would almost always choose one of those houses without hesitation.
Although the other four houses possessed larger numbers of students overall, the average quality of their members was undeniably lower compared to the top three.

The moment his name was called, a white-haired young man slowly walked forward. Almost instantly, murmurs spread throughout the entire hall as whispers could be heard from all directions.
Oliver looked around in confusion before turning toward Max.

Then, from behind Kai, a monster slowly crawled out from the shadows themselves.
