Chapter 586: Chapter 586: Nosebleed
Iris Yates thrust the dress into William Quinn’s hands and turned to leave.
"Baby."
But William Quinn dropped the dress and wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Don’t go. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to wear it. What kind of dresses do you like? How about these?"
He swept her into his arms and carried her deeper into the walk-in closet. An automatic sensor door slid open, revealing row after row of wardrobes filled with all kinds of qipaos and modern Chinese-style dresses, all of them elegant and beautiful.
Iris Yates’s pupils contracted.
"Baby, would you like to wear something like this?" fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
William Quinn took out a pale green qipao and held it up against her. His blue eyes were exceptionally bright, like rare sapphires.
"Baby, you would look so, so beautiful in this!"
He was incredibly excited, as if he could already picture her in the qipao.
Iris Yates furrowed her brow. "I..."
"Baby, I spent so much time and effort having these prepared. Every single dress is in your size. Please, just try one on. Put it on and let me see, won’t you?"
As if sensing she was about to refuse, William Quinn cut her off. He stared at her, his blue eyes filled with a raw intensity. The look on his face suggested that if she said no, he would dress her himself.
Iris Yates instinctively took a step back, clear fear in her eyes. Finally, she nodded. "Okay, I’ll try it on."
Hearing the answer he wanted, William Quinn’s lips curved into a pleased smile. He handed her the qipao, then sat down on a nearby sofa.
He clearly had no intention of leaving; he was going to watch her change.
Mortified, Iris Yates turned her back to him. She stripped off her clothes and slipped into the qipao as quickly as she could.
Thankfully, the dress was a single piece. As she fastened the knotted button at the collar, she could feel the fabric clinging tightly to her body.
"Baby, you’re absolutely stunning!"
William Quinn stared, mesmerized, unable to stop himself from murmuring his admiration.
Before his eyes, the qipao accentuated Iris Yates’s incredible figure: her slender back, her narrow waist, and below that, the dramatic curve of her hips, which the dress hugged perfectly, emphasizing their roundness.
She was fully clothed, yet the sight was enough to make one’s blood race and heart pound.
Iris Yates turned around, and her expression froze.
William Quinn was having a nosebleed!
The man’s ethereally handsome features were frozen in a daze. Two trickles of blood ran from his nostrils, and his blue eyes were fixed on her, as if he’d forgotten how to react to anything else.
It was Iris Yates’s first time wearing a qipao, and she felt very self-conscious. Her gaze flickered nervously. "This is uncomfortable," she said. "I’m taking it off..." frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
"Don’t!"
William Quinn shot to his feet and came over, catching her hand. "Baby, you look incredible in this. If you don’t believe me, look in the mirror. I wouldn’t lie to you!"
With that, he guided Iris Yates to the full-length mirror, forcing her to see herself clearly.
Seeing her reflection, Iris Yates’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
’Is... is that really me?’
’This figure is... insane.’
’Even I can’t help but love what I see!’
Iris Yates couldn’t resist turning to the side, examining her reflection closely.
"Baby, you’re so beautiful. Let’s do it, please. Seeing you like this... I can’t hold it in anymore, Baby..."
William Quinn wrapped his arms around her, murmuring as his lips brushed against her cheek. His obsession was like that of an addict who’d just gotten a fix—pathological and frightening.
