Su Mo glanced out of the corner of her eye at the two figures below the wall, then faced Jin Tong again.
A cold smile touched her lips as she spoke in a chilling tone, "Master, don’t kid yourself! You can’t kill me yet. If you do, there’ll be no cure for the poison in your body!"
"If you kill me now, the North Wing won’t let you go, and the Tiger Clan will seize the chance to attack. You’ll only die faster! And your grand ambition to rule the Beast World? It’ll be impossible to achieve!"
Jin Tong’s eyes darkened, as if he were surprised by what she had just said.
Then he chuckled. "Since you know my objective, you should also know that I won’t let any of you live for long!"
Despite his words, the hand on her throat involuntarily loosened a bit.

Immediately, the stirring sound of a zither filled the air. All the Beastmen at the scene, except for those from the Tiger Clan Tribe, started showing a reaction.
They became dizzy, their vision blurring, their heads throbbing as if about to explode.
Even Jin Tong on the wall couldn’t help but stagger. Su Mo had already aimed her Beast Tendon Bow at him, preparing to fire a second arrow!

In the nick of time, a figure in white rushed toward Jin Tong, a full head of silver hair dancing in the night wind.
The Ancient Zither in his hands instantly transformed into a sharp blade!
Jin Tong’s figure flickered. He shot a cold, hard glance at Su Mo in the crowd, then vanished into the night!

Tian Huan handed him the small pouch and said, "That young Female from the North Wing said this is excellent medicine for injuries. I don’t know anything about medicine, so I’d like to trouble you to take a look, sir!"
Xuan Qing took it, opened it for a look, then crushed one of the pills and sniffed it lightly. "It is indeed excellent medicine for injuries, far more effective than the common sort."
He then asked, "What else did they say?"

Tian Huan frowned, a hint of lingering fear in his eyes. "I never would have guessed. She looked so unremarkable, yet she’s this vicious. Next time I see her, I’d better walk the other way..."
