The man in black’s sharp eyes stared intently at Su Mo.

Furious, she silently cursed the damn bastard in front of her again and again.
The man knit his brows. "The antidote!"
Su Mo pulled a pill from her waist and tossed it over.
The man caught it cleanly. After swallowing it, the poison spreading through his body was indeed slightly alleviated, but it wasn’t completely suppressed.
But that didn’t matter. He could have her slowly work on a complete cure later.
She was isolated and helpless now. He figured she wouldn’t dare try any tricks.
A moment later, his two subordinates caught up.

Su Mo’s eyes widened. "Th-that’s not necessary! I’m just a helpless girl, so weak I couldn’t even truss a chicken. What could I possibly do to you...?"

The man in black glanced at her impatiently. "Noisy! Say another word and I’ll chop off your hands!"

"Okay, Host!"
Little Nine rummaged around in the space, grabbing some bottles and jars. It also found a large fish scale from the System Laboratory.
"Host, this is a Mermaid’s strongest Heart Protection Scale!"
Su Mo glanced at it with a frown. ’That’s a gift Ye Yuan gave me. What about it?’
