Blackbeard, still restrained by his seastone cuffs, was unable to join the fray. Watching the back-and-forth between Admiral Kizaru and Fire Fist Ace with no clear winner, he grew increasingly anxious.
He saw two options: either cut his losses and flee now, or wait and see what happened. If Kizaru won, everyone would be happy. If Ace won, Blackbeard could simply wait for the victor to lie down.
Just as he was mulling over his choices, a signal soldierās Den Den Mushi (Transponder Snail) rang. The call was from Fleet Admiral Sengoku.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, weāve successfully secured Blackbeard," the soldier reported, "but... Admiral Kizaru is currently in a fierce battle with Fire Fist Ace!"
Blackbeardās eyes lit up. He immediately snatched the Den Den Mushi.
"Hello! Fleet Admiral Sengoku, itās Blackbeard!" he exclaimed. "I have some crucial news for you. Fire Fist Ace is actually the son of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger! Heās fighting Kizaru right now, and for everyoneās safety, you should send reinforcements immediately! Iād recommend sending at least two more Admirals!"
On the other end of the line, Sengokuās face darkened. He knew that Ace was the grandson of Vice Admiral Garp. Now, he was also the son of the Pirate King. Sengoku believed Blackbeard because he knew Garp was fully capable of hiding Rogerās son.
Taking a deep breath, Sengoku responded, "Donāt worry about Ace. Heās been absorbed into the private Marines. And... we need more proof before we can confirm heās Rogerās son."
"Tell Kizaru this is a direct order: he is to disengage and return immediately! He is not to get entangled with Ace. If Ace chooses to continue the fight, Kizaru is to leave him and Blackbeard to it!"
Blackbeard was speechless. He saw right through Sengokuās wordsāhe was clearly trying to protect Ace. Blackbeard, realizing further conversation was pointless, hung up. freewŃbnoνel.com
He turned to his crewmate, Laffitte. "Laffitte, contact the World Government and tell them whatās happening here!"
With a sinister smile, Laffitte took out a Den Den Mushi given to him by CP0 and relayed the news that Fire Fist Ace was the son of Gol D. Roger. The World Government, upon hearing this, immediately decided to capture Ace. The Five Elders issued a direct order to Sengoku, commanding him to send another Admiral to assist.
Sengoku was furious. He regretted not having Kizaru deal with Blackbeard first.
"No... Ace canāt be captured!" he muttered to himself, racking his brain for a solution. An idea struck him. He contacted Admiral Aokiji, planning to have him arrive and "accidentally" take out Blackbeard. If Blackbeard were dead, there would be no one to confirm Aceās identity as Rogerās son, and the problem would be solved.
Meanwhile, as Sengoku plotted, the battle between Ace and Kizaru reached a fever pitch. The dragon power within Ace intensified, and a dragonās wing even manifested on his back. His strength grew with every passing moment. fгeeš¤ebɳoveÉ.cĆøm
Kizaru, initially lazy and hoping Ace would be strong enough for him to have an excuse to retreat, was now in a difficult situation. Aceās power was beyond his expectations, and he was the type of fighter who only got stronger in battle. Kizaru couldnāt simply let Ace seriously injure him just to get away. Reluctantly, he began fighting with his full power.
The clash between them was spreading across the island. The ground was now a battlefield of craters and molten lavaāthe craters from Kizaruās light-based attacks, the lava from Aceās flames.
"Admiral Kizaru, hang in there!" Blackbeardās voice echoed from a distance. "Admiral Aokiji is on his way to support you soon!"
Kizaruās headache intensified. He had planned to take a serious hit and use it as an excuse to retreat. But with Aokiji coming, how could he possibly get a plausible injury?
Aceās face also tightened at the news. "Damn it... if Aokiji gets here, Iāll definitely lose!" he thought, and decided to use his last trump card: the Tiger Talisman.
The talisman, he knew, could separate the good and evil sides of a person, with each side retaining a hundred percent of their original strength. With it, his one-on-one fight with Kizaru would become a two-on-one, practically guaranteeing victory.
He pulled the talisman from his pocket. Kizaru, seeing Aceās strange movement, was confused but still planned to stall, hoping Aokiji would arrive and take the blame for capturing him.
Suddenly, the Ace in front of Kizaru split into two identical figures. Both wore the same masks, but their expressions were different. One had dark lines under his eyes and a haughty look. The other had a gentle smile and seemed approachable.
The evil Ace, without a word, immediately abandoned any strategy and charged Kizaru. The Admiral, still thinking it was a simple clone, remained lax, wanting to buy time.
But when the evil Ace reached him and attacked, Kizaru was shocked. The new Aceās power was even more potent than the original. Most importantly, the flames surrounding him were no longer orangeāthey were a menacing black and purple. As a user of the Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit) and a Fire Dragon Slayer, Aceās flames reflected his personality. The evil Aceās flames, fueled by negative emotions, had turned into a dark, volatile purple-black.
The purple-black flames formed into a massive Fire Dragon Emperor and smashed directly toward Kizaru. Caught off guard by this sudden burst of power, Kizaru had no choice but to unleash his lasers in a head-on confrontation.
With a thunderous "BOOM!", the purple-black flames erupted, completely engulfing the Admiral.
