After separating into two teams, the team consisting of Petra, Sasha, Palcara and Kumoka found themselves in a pinch after some time had passed.
As the person who was most knowledgeable about the desert was in this team, they should have had the easiest time navigating this floor. But that actually did not end of happening.
This floor was designed in a very ingenious way. Traversing it was very tricky and it ended up using Petra’s own knowledge against her.
Even though this place looked like a typical desert but actually, it was not. This place, first and foremost was the sixth floor of this dungeon. So the will of the dungeon was able to give it various functions that a regular desert of the outside world would not have.
So the regular mirage defense method that Petra had prepared, it turned out to be completely useless. After about a few hours of exploration, very unnaturally, all the people here found themselves standing on top of a lake.
Yes, all the ladies here were suddenly walking on the water surface. From her experience, Petra had immediately identified this place as the inside of a Mirage but it had appeared very suddenly and had trapped all the ladies in it together without giving any warning.
Petra had never heard about anyone getting stuck in a mirage suddenly like this. So she was sure that it was the dungeon’s will playing tricks. This did make her slightly angry.
But then, she immediately calmed down. Losing her mind here was definitely not a good thing. Currently, Petra needed to be cool and cautious in order to get everyone out of this mirage safely.
So she immediately held an emergency meeting and informed everyone about the situation. Understanding the seriousness of this event, all of them became serious too.
Fortunately, it was not Petra’s first time dealing with a Mirage. Actually, she had dealt with quite a few of these in her life so far. That was also the reason why she was very aware of how dangerous this thing could be and had asked all the ladies to be super careful about it.
Even though the will of the dungeon could change how the Mirage had appeared, it would not be possible for it to change the rules of how Mirage worked. That was something which only a god of the particular element related to mirage could do.
So the strategies that Petra had for getting out of the Mirage should be effective here too. Now she was glad that she had given all the ladies a notebook with this same strategies written in it just in case.

So first, Petra told the other ladies that inside the Mirage, they needed to stay together no matter what. Even though they were together now, with the bizzare properties of this phenomenon, there was a high possibility that they would end up separated from one another sooner or later.
Finding each other in the Mirage was not impossible. But it was definitely a waste of time and energy. So the very first thing that the ladies here needed to do was to get rid of the possibility of being separated.
And the method to accomplish this was very simple. All four of the ladies here just needed to stay connected to each other all the time. And the easiest and most straight forward way to do so was by holding hands.
And the ladies did exactly that. Palcara and Petra both held Sasha’s hands while Kumoka held Palcara’s other free hand. So very easily all four of them got connected.
Next, the ladies needed to find a node. These nodes were the special areas which had a chance of creating a gate if the ladies could fulfill certain specialised conditions. And through this gate, the ladies could get out of here.
This was the easiest and most simple way to get out of the Mirage. All the other methods were dangerous and uncertain in nature.
Finding a node was not an easy task but with all her experiences, Petra had a few ways. The success rate of these wats was not certain but there was no problem in testing them out.

After walking for a few minutes hand in hand, the four ladies came across an enemy. If was a ghostly figure in full body armour.
Immediately, Petra used a magic and blust this Ghost Armour away. Inside the Mirage, as people needed to continue holding hand without break, a warrior like Palcara was extremely limited.
So it was decided that the duty for combat would be on Petra with her magic and Kumoka with her strings and other long range attacks.
Palcara instead was given a new duty of using her super powerful senses to detect enemies, traps and treasures in the vicinity. As for Sasha, she just needed to relax and not panic. The other three ladies were going to take care of everything else.

After this, the group of four of ladies started to come accross several more ghost armours like this. They were quite weak in terms of powers, but they had a very bizzare skill that allowed them to steal mana by touching someone and the advantage of numbers.
So in order to not lose their mana, as soon as the ladies saw a ghost armour, they immediately killed it. But with how many of them were here, Petra was losing a lot of mana either way.
But Petra was not worried about it. Her own store of mana and her natural mana regeneration speed, both were insanely high. So for the time being, she was not in any danger.
And actually she was happy. In a place where a lot of these ghost armours were, there was high possibility of a node of being present. So Petra was using Palcara’s senses and quickly trying to find where the highest concentration of these ghost armours were.
And that place turned out to be a palace that was half buried in the water. But as the ladies and people here could only walk on the water here but could not dive inside it, they had no way to access to entrance of this palace.
But the castle was slowly going up. And it looked like in an hour or two, the entrance would come out of the water. And that would be when the ladies would be able to go inside it.
Petra was very sure that the inside of this palace definitely had a node. So now she just needed to worry about what kind of condition would this gate have to take them out of here.
