Zhou Ning gripped his cell phone and quickly walked into the office. A tuft of Mr. Zhao’s hair stood on end at the back of his head, untended, as he hurriedly followed Zhou Ning’s pace, carrying two bags of breakfast.
"What´s wrong, Zhou Xiaozhou, what’s the rush?"
"Mrs. Cui sent over the lab report. She didn´t say what it was about, told me to see for myself."
Mr. Zhao chuckled suddenly, patting Zhou Ning on the shoulder.
"Mrs. Cui was just thinking, now that she´s joined the work group, why hasn´t her workload decreased? Instead, it´s torture every day. You could at least try to appease her properly."
Zhou Ning smiled, turned on the computer, logged into his email, and saw several unread messages. He opened them, downloaded, and printed.
Getting the report, he flipped through it page by page. Upon reaching the end, Zhou Ning pushed up his glasses, his expression growing more solemn.
Mr. Zhao, still smiling, saw Zhou Ning´s face and couldn´t smile anymore.
"What´s the matter, spit it out. Is it that you couldn´t find Xu Dan’s DNA? Don’t worry so quickly—we prepared ourselves for this when we sent in the samples. This is all just a matter of probability."

She thrust her hand through the shattered glass, pulled the car door open, and with one hand strangled Xu Dan’s neck with the seat belt while forcibly pulling the car keys out with the other, then threw the keys to the ground.
Ripping off the seat belt, she threw Xu Dan over her shoulder and onto the ground, pounced on top of her, twisted Xu Dan’s arms behind her back, and handcuffed her.
At this moment, Tao Zhenshan also got out of the car, his forehead bleeding profusely, a testament to the violence of the impact.
