Chapter 1951: Chapter 1954: Blocking the Road to Snatch Someone

"Such a character is actually willing to join the Sea Sacrifice Sect?"

Chu Fengmian was extremely surprised.

The young man’s attire was very similar to Qin Han’s, signifying his identity as a protector.

He was not a disciple genius cultivated by the Sea Sacrifice Sect.

This young man, possessing such strength, surely had gained some heaven-shocking opportunities, and should not be willing to live under others.

Yet, he joined the Sea Sacrifice Sect, giving Chu Fengmian a renewed understanding of the sect’s power.

Despite the surprise in his heart, Chu Fengmian’s expression remained unchanged as he observed from the side.

"Wu Jue? Why are you stopping me?"

Upon seeing the young man arrive, Qin Han’s expression changed slightly, and he snorted coldly.

"Why stop you? Don’t you know yourself? Sea King Ping Sheng, overseeing an assessment, actually intends to line his own pockets by recruiting outstanding people directly to the Sky Sea Pavilion?"

Wu Jue sneered.

"Leave the person, you may go."

"Wu Jue, does your Sacrificial Pavilion also want to interfere?"

Qin Han’s expression turned unpleasant upon hearing this.

"This person is specifically designated by Elder Ping Sheng. Aren’t you afraid you can’t explain your actions by snatching him now?"

Sacrificial Pavilion?

Upon hearing Qin Han’s words, Chu Fengmian’s eyes flashed; he hadn’t expected Wu Jue to be from the Sacrificial Pavilion.

Moreover, it seemed Wu Jue’s arrival aimed to recruit Chu Fengmian into the Sacrificial Lake?

Chu Fengmian had been troubled about how to join the Sacrificial Pavilion, yet here he was quickly meeting someone from it.

Chu Fengmian was overjoyed, yet maintained his composure, as excessive excitement would seem suspicious.

"Sea King Ping Sheng? If he dares cause trouble, let him go to the Sacrificial Pavilion. I was prepared to accuse him of disregarding the rules and lining his own pockets."

Wu Jue stared coldly at Qin Han, his gaze turning icy.

"I don’t want to act here, don’t force me."

"You!"

Qin Han’s face shifted colors, unwilling to let go but knowing his strength was far inferior to Wu Jue’s.

Even if he engaged, he would surely lose.

"Leave!"

After much deliberation, Qin Han waved his sleeve, transforming into a Tunneling Light and flying away.

"Wise choice."

Wu Jue glanced at the departing Qin Han, muttering to himself before redirecting his gaze to Chu Fengmian.

"You alone killed Cang Lang? That Cang Lang, whom I have seen, was a notable figure, eligible for promotion as a Core Disciple. You killed him with one move?"

Wu Jue scrutinized Chu Fengmian, his tone full of skepticism.

Suddenly, as his words finished, Wu Jue moved abruptly, his right hand clenching into a fist and punching towards Chu Fengmian.

This unexpected attack took many by surprise; however, Chu Fengmian reacted quickly.

Chu Fengmian had prepared to counterattack, but sensed Wu Jue was testing rather than intending harm.

Chu Fengmian opted to respond similarly, clenched his right hand into a fist, and countered with the "Dragon Whale Sea Splitting Fist" he created earlier.

This time, Chu Fengmian reserved three-tenths of its power, clashing fists with Wu Jue.

The two forces collided mid-air, causing both individuals to retreat a few steps.

"Oh? Indeed impressive, to withstand my punch; your strength seems genuine."

After testing, Wu Jue withdrew his hand, acknowledging.

"I can see you still have hidden strength, but remember, in the Sacrificial Pavilion, you must not hide your strength anymore, but fully serve the pavilion, understand?"

"Yes."

Chu Fengmian spoke expressionlessly.

Wu Jue said no more, transforming into a Tunneling Light ahead, leading Chu Fengmian towards the center of the Sea Sacrifice Sect.

The Sacrificial Pavilion is responsible for guarding the Sacrificial Lake, located at the sect’s center within the Divine Temple.

However, as Wu Jue and Chu Fengmian neared the temple, Wu Jue suddenly descended onto an island.

This island is one of the closest to the temple, yet lies outside its boundaries.

Chu Fengmian had assumed joining the Sacrificial Pavilion would allow him entry into the Divine Temple to find the Luminous Pure Water.

Luminous Pure Water recorded in the Sacrificial Lake.

Yet now it seemed entering the temple to reach the Sacrificial Lake wasn’t so simple.

"Are we not going to the Sacrificial Lake?"

Chu Fengmian asked calmly.

"Oh? You know quite a bit; you actually know the Sacrificial Lake is within the Divine Temple?"

Wu Jue’s eyes flashed, glancing at Chu Fengmian before continuing.

"Our Sacrificial Pavilion guards the Sacrificial Lake but cannot enter the temple; I know you wish to practice at the Lake for benefits."

"However, as a new recruit, you lack the qualification. You must earn merit through service to enter the Lake, understand?"

Wu Jue lectured, looking at Chu Fengmian.

Chu Fengmian did not respond.

Soon, the two landed on the island.

Though called an island, it was almost the size of a country, with thousands of disciples, forming a significant force.

The Sacrificial Pavilion is one of the smaller factions within the Sea Sacrifice Sect; larger forces have tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of disciples.

Despite being smaller, only one-in-ten-thousand geniuses join the pavilion, making its power fearsome within the sect.

"Protector Wu Jue."

Along the way, Sacrificial Pavilion disciples greeted Wu Jue.

Sacrificial Pavilion disciples are at least at the Ancient Emperor level, all Inner Sect Disciples of the Sea Sacrifice Sect.

True Emperor level Outer Disciples lack the qualifications to join.

Thousands at the Ancient Emperor level is beyond what Chu Fengmian imagined seeing in the Big Luo Celestial Realm.

Yet at the Sacrificial Pavilion, part of the Sea Sacrifice Sect, this was commonplace.

Wu Jue led Chu Fengmian towards the island’s highest palace, where upon reaching the entrance, a commanding voice sounded.

"Bring him in."

"Yes."

Wu Jue respectfully replied to the voice’s owner, leading Chu Fengmian into the palace.

The palace was vast and empty, with only a large throne at its center.

On the throne sat a handsome middle-aged man, whose mere presence exerted a tremendous pressure even before he spoke to Chu Fengmian.
