Chapter 441: Chapter 437: The King Body Reappears
"Lin Hao, I’m waiting for you in the Saint Institute’s Trial Forest!"
Time flowed by. Lin Hao had no idea how long he’d been in meditation, but a voice startled him awake.
The voice wasn’t loud, yet it spread with perfect clarity throughout the entire Yujin Saint Institute.
Lin Hao frowned and rose to his feet, unhurried.
"Lin Hao, Lin Feichen has arrived. He’s waiting for you in the Trial Forest. Go and face him." Yin Duwen appeared again, delivered the message to Lin Hao, and then vanished.
’Lin Feichen... the Lin family...’ Lin Hao’s eyes narrowed as he muttered.
Although Lin Hao didn’t know Lin Feichen’s cultivation level, this was a battle he had to win. He could not lose.
And after defeating Lin Feichen, it would be just as that disciple from the Wenren family had said. It would be time to pay the Lin family a visit.
More than three years had passed—almost four. It was time for that blood debt to be repaid.
Taking a deep breath, Lin Hao strode forward, threw open the window, and shot out into the air...
The Saint Institute’s Trial Forest was opened once again. This time, however, it was not divided into separate zones; the entire forest was now a single, unified area.
Large numbers of disciples poured in from every entrance.
"Why did they choose the Trial Forest for the duel?" a disciple asked, confused, as he pushed his way toward the entrance.
"You must be new here. With Senior Brother Lin’s level of cultivation, the Saint Institute’s arena is far too small. He wouldn’t be able to fight at his full potential."
"That’s only part of the reason. I think Senior Brother Lin wants to go all out and really teach Lin Hao a lesson," someone nearby chimed in.
"Oh, thank you, Senior Brothers. But the Trial Forest is so vast, and with all the trees, we won’t even be able to see their figh—" The disciple’s words caught in his throat. He had just spotted a figure hovering silently in the air above the forest.
Above the Trial Forest, the air was misty. A figure stood upon the void, robes fluttering in an unseen wind. He did nothing, yet his presence gave everyone the distinct impression of an Immortal King looking down upon the mortal world!
That was Lin Feichen, ranked sixth among the experts on the Holy Stele!
The once-crowded and chaotic entrance instantly fell silent. Though the figure was still distant, an invincible aura radiated from him, so potent that no one dared to make a sound or move out of line.
Many were awestruck. ’Now *that’s* a true master!’
To command such presence with his aura alone was astonishing.
At one of the least crowded entrances, many people were shocked to see this scene.
The ones entering through this gate were the disciples of the five great divine sects, along with their sect escorts.
Upon seeing this, the eyes of these talented disciples from the divine sects narrowed, their expressions turning grave.
Many disciples from the great divine sects had come this time, but the ones using this entrance were the best of the best. Figures like Lu Dieyi and Evil Wind were all the top-ranked young disciples of their respective sects.
"Nanny, that man is terrifyingly strong. I’m not sure I’d even be a match for him. Can Brother Hao really defeat him?" Lu Dieyi watched Lin Feichen, her lovely eyes filled with worry as she sent a mental message to Nanny Lu.
Nanny Lu, who stood beside Lu Dieyi, was also inwardly alarmed.
She couldn’t discern the depths of Lin Feichen’s cultivation.
Of course, this didn’t mean Lin Feichen’s cultivation had surpassed the Soul Gathering Realm Peak. Rather, it was his physique.
His physique was on a completely different level from her own—not just one or two tiers higher!
’A King Body!’
’He definitely possesses a King Body!’
’No matter how powerful Lin Hao might be, his chances against someone with a King Body are slim to none.’
Of course, Nanny Lu would never voice this thought. She simply reassured Lu Dieyi, telling her that he could.
"The Saint Institute is truly full of hidden masters," an elder said, his expression complex as he stared at Lin Feichen.
Now he finally understood why the Sect Leader hadn’t come in person for something so important.
This was merely the disciple ranked sixth on the Holy Stele, yet he already possessed the strength to rival the top disciple of a great sect. One could only imagine the power of those ranked even higher. If their Sect Leader had come, he would have been utterly shamed.
The few young men and women from the great divine sects, for once, shed their arrogant airs and became remarkably docile.
Yin Duwen chuckled and offered a few token words of modesty, but he couldn’t hide the smug look on his face.
Even Lin Feichen’s level of cultivation had exceeded his expectations.
Although Lin Feichen had yet to break through to the Sixth Layer of the Soul Gathering Realm, he was on the very cusp. He could advance at any moment.
Of course, his cultivation realm wasn’t the most important part. Yin Duwen could sense that Lin Feichen was now far more formidable than he had been just three months prior.
"Elder Yin, you’re too modest. A cultivator of his level could already stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Hall Masters of the five great divine sects. But their Hall Masters have all cultivated for decades, even centuries. For him to be so young... his future is truly limitless," one of the elders remarked with a sigh of admiration.
"He sure is lucky. At least someone will take him in after he gets utterly crushed in a moment," a crisp, melodious voice suddenly interjected.
Then, a stunningly beautiful young woman appeared.
Behind her stood two other women, both with their faces concealed by veils.
Though their faces were hidden, their graceful figures and transcendent auras were enough to leave one enchanted.
"Palace Master Su." Upon seeing the trio, one of the elders greeted a veiled woman with a cupped-fist salute.
The veiled woman was, of course, Su Molixi. She nodded in reply. "Elder Meng, you are too kind."
"I never expected Palace Master Su to come spectate," Yin Duwen said, surprised.
"Hey, you’re so loud!" the crisp voice piped up again. The speaker, her cheeks puffed out, glared at Yin Duwen with wide eyes, projecting an air that said, ’I’m very angry, and you’re in big trouble.’
"Xiaoru, you must be polite to an elder of the Saint Institute," said the veiled woman beside Su Molixi. It was, of course, Meng Qing.
But Yu Mengru was not deterred. She wrinkled her cute little nose and huffed, "I’ve heard all about him. He’s a mean old man who’s always causing trouble for Brother Hao. Why should I be polite to him?"
AHEM... Yin Duwen nearly choked on his own breath. He couldn’t lash out, however, and his face flushed red as he demanded, "That’s slander! Who told you such a thing?"
"I don’t know. I was just playing outside my room, and these little paper balls just kept flying over to me. They were all about you..." Yu Mengru said, her face a mask of pure innocence.
"Xiaoru!" Meng Qing cut her off with a sharp reprimand, then turned to Yin Duwen to apologize. "My little sister is still young, Elder. I hope you can forgive her impertinence."
Yin Duwen’s mouth twitched uncontrollably, but he forced himself to maintain a smile. He was a man of his age; getting angry at a little girl would do no good for his reputation if word got out.
’Damn it! If I find out who’s behind this, I’ll tear them limb from limb! And that cursed Lin Hao... even if he survives today, I can’t let him live!’ Inside, Yin Duwen’s killing intent surged.
Though reprimanded by Meng Qing, and having fallen silent, Yu Mengru kept her bright eyes fixed on Yin Duwen, her gaze darting about mischievously.
Her stare made Yin Duwen’s skin crawl. Who knew what else the little brat would dare to say.
Thankfully, at that moment, he spotted a figure streaking through the air from high up in the Saint Institute.
"Lin Hao is here!" someone shouted.
All eyes shifted, fixing on the sky above the Trial Forest...
