Chapter 291: Hello, Anton (Bonus)
The chains were removed as requested, and for a moment Andrea remained where she was; hunched slightly, and breathing slowly.
Then her wounds began to react. A hiss sounded as thin streams of vapor rose from her skin, her healing accelerating far faster than it had over the last two days.
She lifted her head and moved her eyes around to see the angry faces of transformed white wolves.
Andrea turned her head to the other side and saw Ethan and Eduardo staring back at her with cold gazes.
Then Andrea looked forward again.
It was the sight of Hayley cracking her knuckles in readiness.
Andrea immediately understood that there was no escape here.
Her eyes lowered for a brief second. Then she inhaled and let it out slowly.
Her skin turned to red as she began transforming. Unfortunately, there were no wings now given that Eduardo had torn them out.
Her fangs and claws extended as she lifted her right hand toward Hayley.
What followed next was an instant pull as Hayley’s body jerked for a brief second. There was a subtle a twitch in her arm as the invisible grip of blood manipulation took hold.
Suddenly, a cold light blue glow ignited within Hayley’s eyes. Her magic surged outward as her body shifted into partial transformation, just enough to break Andrea’s hold on her.
This was the strength of a warrior who had reawakened into the Martial King class
Hayley moved instantly, reappearing in front of Andrea with her hand already gripping around her throat. It looked as though there was no visible transition between Hayley’s initial stand point and her sudden appearance before the princess.
Andrea’s eyes widened in shock as her feet left the ground, her body lifted effortlessly into the air.
Her claws swung on instinct toward Hayley, who intercepted them easily, catching Andrea’s wrist with her other hand.
Hayley squeezed, cracking the bone of that wrist that forced the screaming out of Andrea’s mouth.
But Hayley didn’t even stop there. She drove her fist drove into Andrea’s stomach three times in rapid succession.
Each one forced the air out of Andrea’s lungs, until blood burst from her mouth, spilling down her chin as her body trembled in Hayley’s grip.
There was silence for a moment until Andrea laughed.
"Do you want to know..." she rasped, blood slipping past her lips, "...why I didn’t hesitate... killing your father?"
Hayley watched.
Andrea’s smile widened, twisted and ugly.
"It’s because I know he smelt like you..." she continued. "And I imagined... the look on your face when you finally found him.... I knew he—"
Hayley cut her off right then by driving her fist straight through Andrea’s chest.
Andrea’s voice cut off as her body jerked violently, blood surging up her throat and spilling from her mouth in a heavy rush.
Her eyes went wide, almost in disbelief
"Shut the fuck up, bitch!" Hayley yelled, ripping her hand back and tearing out Andrea’s heart.
Hayley let both body and organ drop from her hand before turning away.
Around them, the wolves roared out cheeringly.

Eventually, people began to leave one by one.
Isabella approached Ethan before departing and pulled him into a brief embrace, then stepped away and left.
The rest of House Stark moved toward the vehicle, with Eduardo reaching the driver’s side.
But before he could open the door—
"Eduardo."
Ethan’s voice stopped him.
Eduardo stopped and turned. "Yes, master ethan"
Ethan lifted his palm slightly and a faint glow gathered in the air above it. Then the chalice appeared, resting within his grasp.
Eduardo’s eyes sharpened at the sight. The weight of magic radiating from the object from enormous.
"...What is that?" he asked.
Ethan tilted the artifact forward just enough. "This is that Chalice you told me about the other day."
Eduardo’s eyes widened. His gaze turned to it, then slowly lifted back to Ethan. "...How?"
"How I got it... that’s a long story for another night." Ethan began. Then he extended his hand further, offering it. "For now, I need you to hold onto it."
Eduardo didn’t take it immediately.
Ethan continued. "The only way to break that aging spell is to siphon the magic off the chalice. It’s a divine artifact so it can’t be destroyed."
His eyes lingered on Eduardo’s. "Until we find the right caster... Think about it, I know it’s been decades."
Eduardo then took the chalice from him carefully. He looked back up. "Thank you very much, Master Ethan."
Ethan smiled and patted his shoulder. "I’ll be home tomorrow."
Eduardo gave a nod, then turned and got into the vehicle. The engine came alive a moment later, and with a slow reversal, he pulled away, taking the rest of them with him.
—
The night continued. And over time, the mood only grew better.
The wolves gathered closer in the living room; voices rising and bottles passing between hands. Laughter broke out at different intervals as stories were being shared.
Each of them took turns, recalling moments, memories; things Marvin had said and done. Some stories were simple, others exaggerated, but all of them carried something real.
Someone pointed out how Percival sometimes looked exactly like him when he got serious.
That one hit differently. The laughter that followed was louder, and for a brief moment, it almost felt like he was still there.
—
Much later into the night...
A shirtless Ethan moved through the house, with a beer bottle hanging loosely in his hand.
The noise from below still carried, but it faded as he moved up the stairs.
Hayley stood on the house’s balcony, leaning slightly over the railing. She stared out with a beer bottle in her hand, taking occasional sips.
Ethan stepped into the quiet space next to her.
She glanced at him briefly, trailing her eyes over his bare torso before returning forward.
"You sure you should be taking that?" she said, lifting her bottle. "You know it’s not for underage." freewēbnoveℓ.com
Ethan let out a short laugh. "It’s been more than six months since I was underage."
Haley rolled her eyes exaggeratedly. "Yeah, yeah.... Well, who won?"
She was referring to his shirtless situation. The wolves had played one of their silly games not long ago.
Ethan smirked, taking a sip. "I let them take it this time."
She huffed a laugh, shaking her head.
After a moment, Haley spoke again, "Guess this is where life finally decided to dump some responsibilities on me."
She let out a breath. "That’s some real shit." freёwebnovel.com
Ethan laughed at that. "Yeah."
She leaned a little closer then, crossing her arm over his as she rested her head on his shoulder.
Ethan glanced at her for a second, then back out into the night.
"I promise you, you’ll figure it all out." He said
Haley nodded with a little smile as she took another drink.
——
Somewhere else that night...
The private room was alot more quiet than the rest of the club, but the bass could still be heard through the walls.
A blonde hair man was on the floor, with two martinis on the ground beside him.
His body laid back on the floor, staring at upwards at the dancing stripper. A tube of red lipstick rested between his lips, and he didn’t care to remove it all.
The dancer then placed her heel into his chest gently, he grabbed on it for a second, watching her teasing grin.
With a wink, she moved her heel away and turned around seductively, letting him get the fullest view of her bum.
She knew exactly what she was doing; keeping his attention locked on her so he kept watching with half-lidded eyes.
Then the door opened without a knock and Lady Audrey walked in.
The dancer paused, turning her head towards the new figure.
On the floor, the blonde-haired man rolled his eyes slightly toward the door. "You’re bothering me, Audrey."
She placed a hand on her chest, making a pretentious face of hurt. "Wow. Is that how you talk to me now?"
He exhaled, then flicked his eyes back to the dancer. "Come back later."
The dancer didn’t argue. Instead, she stepped off him and walked out.
He reached up, pulled the lipstick from his mouth, and sat up slowly. He grabbed the chair beside him and leaned into it.
Now he looked at her properly. "What do you want?"
Audrey glanced at the table. "Aren’t you going to pour me a drink first?"
He just stared at her.
She sighed. "Alright. It seems you’re still hurt about the last time, so let me start properly...Hello, Anton."
