Chapter 492: Chapter 241: Damn! A Magma Start Is Possible Too! (Part 2)
In the eyes of an ordinary person, a magma start would undoubtedly mean a certain death, with no time to even curse before they are gone, but Ye Mingqiu is different. He can directly immunize against magma damage and even jump out of it, lively as ever.
Therefore, from the perspective of the Spirit Realm, ordinary magma is considered a safe zone for him, posing no threat to his survival.
For him, the magma start is akin to how others might start by falling into the sea.
If I am not mistaken...
Then...
Could it be...
That magma will be deemed a safe zone in the future? Could the Spirit Realm also determine that poison swamps are safe zones? After all, my Abnormal Status Resistance is quite high.
High defense + High resistance = No health loss.
High abnormal status = No negatives.
No negatives + No health loss = Nothing wrong.
Magma = Safe zone.
What the heck!
This is tricky!
Just as Ye Mingqiu thought of this, he felt the magma beneath him suddenly surge upwards, a vast and formidable Power pulling him.
Simultaneously, the interior of the volcano emitted a deep, beast-like roar, the walls shaking violently, as small fragments fell, splashing on the magma’s surface and instantly turning to wisps of smoke.
Goodness!
It’s a living volcano!
And it’s about to erupt!
Ye Mingqiu cursed inwardly and began desperately crawling towards the surrounding black rock shore, though the process was quite troublesome, and not smooth.
Magma is unlike water, possessing extraordinary viscosity. Each swing and kick he made was difficult, and while struggling, he also felt a scorching pain that linked from his skin to his brain, causing him to grit his teeth involuntarily.
Though no health was lost, it was hot, and he felt pain. This type of pain was akin to scraping therapy, pure ache without damage.
Soon after, Ye Mingqiu finally grabbed hold of the shore. His fingers clutched at the coarse edge of the rock, and with a powerful force, he dragged himself up.
"Pah!"
He spat out a mouthful of magma, the scorching liquid igniting the ground and sending wisps of smoke.
"Boom!!~"
The next moment, a deafening roar, like the sky and earth splitting, exploded behind him!
An indescribable force instantaneously tore through the mountain, molten lava mixed with massive amounts of volcanic ash and gas, like an unbound Fire Dragon of apocalypse, soared skyward!
The entire sky was immediately dyed a deep crimson, and the violent air waves like tangible walls slammed into Ye Mingqiu’s back.
"...."
Ye Mingqiu silently stood in place, feeling the burning sensation from behind him, his expression becoming increasingly dark.
He couldn’t believe he’d be so unlucky, that the magma area on the map shouldn’t occupy much space, and even if he had a chance to randomly land in the magma, the odds should be slim.
Not to mention it’s an erupting volcano!
This luck...is ridiculous!
He lowered his head to look at his clothes; the Spirit Realm equipment hadn’t been affected since the equipment level he wore was quite high, unlikely to be melted by ordinary magma. Among them, the Flame Dragon Inverse Scale Armor even seemed to enjoy the feeling of bathing in magma.
But....
Those real-world clothes were burned away, so he changed his clothes and turned to look at the volcano erupting behind him.
The surrounding scene was like the apocalypse, scorching rock fragments crashing to the ground like meteor showers, making dull sounds, and huge volumes of hot magma were spewing outward from the volcano’s core.
Hmm....wrong!
This isn’t a natural volcanic eruption!
During the eruption, he caught a whiff of something abnormal, an energy fluctuation. Just after being teleported here, Ye Mingqiu’s consciousness and attention weren’t fully focused, so he didn’t notice it immediately.
But now, he felt it—a human-induced volcanic eruption rather than normal circumstances.
"Who is the bastard responsible!?"
Ye Mingqiu roared angrily, his black hair wildly chaotical, a horrifying crimson aura soaring instantly, his body rapidly swelling to become a terrifying giant nearly ten meters tall.
The tyrannical Tyrant descended menacingly, gazing towards the distant dark tide. Within that black tide, a thin, gaunt caster in black robes was raising a Magic Staff, releasing natural calamity magic that triggered the volcano, attempting to obliterate the human Rebel forces of the Moros World.
They aimed to use natural disasters to instill fear, making humans realize their insignificance, realize the terror of the black tide, hence assimilating it.
However...
The Tyrant, fierce and unyielding, descended from the heavens, like a blood-red meteor landing, engulfing the black tide in a terrifying dark wave as tenebrous as ink.
A crimson Blood Spear formed in his hand, blood crystal patterns climbed up his arm, and the scarlet-red blood light danced within the black tide, effortlessly slaughtering countless lives; the angry Tyrant danced on the battlefield, liberally unleashing his unique Power.
Not far away, in a small town, a Minstrel in white stockings and a green cloak smiled as he gently plucked the strings of his lute, speaking to a tall man beside him.
"Long, long ago, this world had a supreme Tyrant, possessing terrifying Power enough to rend the skies and earth, even the strongest Heroes and sinful Demon Monarchs dared not be his foe."
"The Tyrant ruled the world, but ultimately found it boring and fell into a deep slumber, causing the world to gradually grow and change while he slept."
"Until a foolish black tide Mage used a spell to enliven a volcano, awaken the Tyrant, cause his resurgence to proclaim his return to the world. The Tyrant’s fury can only be extinguished with blood."
"An intriguing story."
The man watched the Tyrant slaughter, countless black tide monsters being wantonly massacred—a horror to ordinary eyes, but to the Tyrant seemed like crushable ants.
As a Hero, he took pride in his Power, yet his strength seemed trivial before the Tyrant.
Thus, the Hero turned and asked, "Since the Tyrant’s Power is so immense, can he single-handedly defeat those monsters to eradicate the calamity completely?"
"No."
The Minstrel shook his head, saying, "The root of the black tide isn’t solvable by Power. It requires Raw Stone for suppression and sealing; otherwise, the creations of the black tide will ceaselessly emerge."
"But it looks like he’s nearly wiped them out; the monsters haven’t revived."
"Ah?"
The Minstrel turned squarely, glancing toward the battlefield.
Dazzling like Fiery Sun, golden Light erupted; Holy Power dispelled the darkness, Holy Light gleamed, countless Holy Swords forming a rain of swords that thoroughly exterminated the black tide lives.
After dealing a simple blow, Ye Mingqiu realized the black tide wouldn’t die outright; post-mortem darkness quietly retreated, escaping afar.
So, Ye Mingqiu stopped using brute force; he wielded the Blood Spear like a Magic Staff, casting spells formed by Holy Power that erupted consecutively; the Sequence-exclusive Power displayed miraculous effectiveness, dispelling and slaying the unreliably terminable black tide with Holy Power magic.
His Holy Power seemingly endless, spell upon spell unleashed, the terrifying Holy Magic rapidly vanquishing vast amounts of the black tide.
The mindless, mad black tide lives remarkably gained wisdom, began to flee, began to fear, painfully exposed cowardice... they were being hunted by the Tyrant’s Holy Magic.
"Is the Tyrant...also a Mage?"
The Hero’s lips went dry, his face full of disbelief, seeking answers from the Minstrel.
Yet the Minstrel was even more perplexed. He watched the Tyrant on the battlefield, muttering, "I don’t know, the prophecy didn’t say this. The Tyrant’s strength feels absurdly exaggerated... though perhaps it’s a good thing."
"Hmm, the black tide is not just this wave; our future path is long. Hopefully, he’ll become our ally, save the world together."
Suggested the Hero.
