The explanation of the skill wasn’t entirely clear. It wasn’t that Denzel was restricted to a single ability, nor that he had been granted all abilities. Rather, he possessed the power to bend abilities that were formed through mana. That is, abilities created or controlled by mana.
He couldn’t bend natural, unenhanced elements.
In other words, he couldn’t manipulate something like ordinary water. He could only bend it if it had been infused with mana or was actively controlled by it.

He thought this as a soft smile formed on his lips.

So he stood up and stepped out of the room.
He walked down the corridor toward the kitchen.
When he turned into the kitchen, his eyes landed on Maria and beside her stood none other than Sophia.
Sophia’s gaze met his for a brief moment, then she quickly looked away, pretending she hadn’t seen him at all.
Maria immediately spoke up.
"Denzel, I told you I would bring the food."
’I just got a bit hungry. I couldn’t just sit around.’

Maria offered an apologetic smile.
"Oh, I’m so sorry, my dear. I just needed to warm it up for you. Just give me a few minutes and I’ll be done. And for the time I wasted, I promise I’ll...I’ll make it up to you."
Denzel looked at her quietly.
’I think we both know what she means by make it up to me.’
He nodded slightly.
’Okay.’
Maria continued speaking, and his eyes shifted to Sophia.
"Sophia, good morning," he said.
Sophia gave a small nod.
"Good morning, Denzel," she replied.
After that, she said nothing else.
Denzel kept watching her for a moment.
’This woman almost ruined my night almost cost me from my pleasure with mum last night. And ever since I found out about her little job expedition, she’s been giving me this attitude.’
’But she has no idea. She just made a mistake showing up here. She thinks someone like her is enough to stop me? She’s out of her mind.’
Without changing his expression, he turned back to Maria.
"Hey Maria, can you fetch me some orange? Just something from outside. Something sweet to put in my mouth since I’m already a bit starved."
Maria’s cheeks flushed slightly.
’My son is hungry I need to feed him as soon as I can. Damn, why isn’t the food done already.’
"I’m, I’m on it, but the food will be done soon," she said.
"I know, but I really want the orange," he insisted.
Maria nodded.
"Understood."
Then she left, walking toward the storage area where the fruits were kept.
Once she was gone, Denzel made sure she was out of sight. And as she disappeared into the corridor, a faint Mischievous smile drew on his face as he turned his attention back to Sophia, who had her back turned to him.
Now that they were alone, his expression hardened slightly.
’Finally, I’ve got you exactly where I want you. Now it’s time to find out what her secret is.’
