She spat, wasn’t it supposed to be an apology? Now it’s turned into discussing solutions, utterly ridiculous.
"President Lowell, you’re joking. This incident has nothing to do with our company; we’re merely being wrongfully accused. As for who’s trying to frame our company, it’s unknown. Besides, our small company, even if there are issues, it can’t compare to yours. We are just a small company that doesn’t draw attention, while yours, President Lowell, is a listed company."
Melody Thorne spoke calmly, each word piercing Jim Lowell’s heart.
"So, what do you mean?" Jim Lowell squinted. He had gotten word that the Seymour Family was already gone, so he dared to invite Melody Thorne here, yet she gave him no face!
"Nina, didn’t you say someone wanted to apologize?" Melody Thorne turned around, "Why haven’t I seen it?"
Nina King laughed and took out her phone, "President Thorne, someone did call me today, saying they wanted to apologize for what happened. But who knew things would change here? President Thorne, our company isn’t listed yet, it doesn’t matter; it’s getting late, how about we go back?"
Melody Thorne thought for a moment and nodded, "Indeed, let’s go back then."
