Chapter 2952: Chapter 2470

"Darren, can we not get a divorce? I will change, I really will. Can you give me a chance?"

Darren Heath heard Lady Octavia’s almost humble plea, a trace of pity evident in his eyes, along with several seconds of hesitation.

But in the end, he made up his mind: "I’ve decided, let’s get a divorce."

"Darren, why?" Lady Octavia burst into tears, "Is it because of what happened with Stacy? I know I was wrong, and I will never do it again. I never thought of divorcing you. When I married you, it meant I would be your wife for life. I don’t want a divorce."

Darren Heath had spoiled Lady Octavia for over twenty years.

As he listened to Lady Octavia sobbing on the phone, his heart felt as if it was being torn apart.

However, he steeled himself and said: "Octavia, I called you to tell you my decision. I’ve decided to divorce, and I won’t change my mind. After this call, I will have a lawyer handle the divorce. If you have any requests, you can bring them up now."

Lady Octavia cried a little more before her sobbing gradually ceased.

"You’re determined to divorce me, aren’t you?" Her voice was suddenly much calmer.

Darren looked at Diana Kinsman stood by his side, thinking of all the wrongs he had done to Mia, and said in a heavy voice: "Octavia, I’m sorry."

"Alright, I agree to the divorce. But you have to tell me why you suddenly want to divorce me. Is it because of Stacy, or is it because of Mia?"

"Octavia..."

"Answer me. Darren Heath, are you insisting on divorcing me because of Stacy or Mia? You met Diana, didn’t you? What did she tell you? Did she mention Mia to you?"

"Was it Diana who asked you to divorce me, or do you want a divorce?"

Facing Lady Octavia’s interrogation, Darren took a deep breath: "It’s my decision."

"Your decision?"

"Yes."

"Darren Heath, say it again, is it really your decision?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I agree to the divorce. If you really want to divorce me, then let’s divorce."

After saying that, Lady Octavia hung up.

"Have you finished discussing the divorce?" Diana looked at Darren Heath, who had a dejected look on his face, and asked coldly.

Darren Heath stared blankly at the now dark screen, the taste in his heart indescribable: "It’s done."

"Is your wife willing to divorce you?"

"She agreed."

"Then you can have someone handle the divorce procedures now." Diana glanced at Darren Heath’s dispirited appearance and sneered, "The Heath family’s divorce should be faster than most people’s."

"Once you get the Divorce Certificate, this matter will be truly over."

Darren looked up at her without uttering a word, picked up his phone, and dialed another number.

"It’s me, head over to the Civil Affairs Bureau now."

"Handle the divorce procedures for Lady Octavia and me."

"You heard it right, go and handle it now."

Moments later, Brandon Heath ended the call and put the phone aside.

"I’ve asked someone to handle the divorce procedures; at the quickest, it will take half an hour."

"Fine, once you get the Divorce Certificate, we can discuss other matters."

"I will do as you say, but before that, shouldn’t you let me see Stacy? Otherwise, how will I know if she is safe?"

"Of course." Diana bent down to pick her phone from the sofa, opened a video calls App and tossed the phone to Darren Heath,
