Chapter 160: Chapter 20 The End of the Concert

"I’ll definitely come to watch!" A Fallen Demon excitedly waved his magic wand, finding this concert by Wind Moon Band too interesting.

Even though he was initially threatened by the Mage Association to come watch, he was reluctant because, in the heart of a Fallen Mage, he thought that instead of wasting time at a nonsensical concert, he should rather conduct more experiments.

However, under the document regarding the reimbursement for damaged experimental equipment produced by the Association members, the Fallen Demon caved in, not wanting to fork out such an amount of money.

To his surprise, the concert was more interesting than he had imagined.

"Midra’s voice is really pleasant to the ears~" A Flame Demon next to the Fallen Demon remarked emotionally, wiping the corner of his eye.

"Michelangelo, your taste is regressing more and more." The Fallen Demon scoffed.

"Didn’t you hear that piercing voice of Angelina just now? ’Electric Light on the Fingertips’ is the ultimate song!" The Fallen Demon looked disdainfully at his friend.

"Flender! You damned fool with the shabby ass! Clearly, Midra singing ’To My Dearest’ is the best!" Michelangelo snorted out a ball of flame from his nostrils.

"I will always watch over you! Midra!" Michelangelo’s fire surged higher all over his body.

"Bastard! Draw your wand!" Flender angrily pulled out his magic wand.

"Come on, let me show you my magic today!" The Flame Demon looked disdainfully at his old friend.

"Wait, aren’t you two good friends?" Billy looked helplessly at his two friends, not understanding what there was to argue about.

"Moreover, I think the best singer is definitely Aria; haven’t you heard her sing ’Love Circulation’?" Billy looked longingly at Aria on stage, finding for the first time that a Harpy could also be so adorable.

"... You think Aria’s song is listenable? I believe only Midra as the lead singer is the best."

"What joke are you spouting? Say it again, Angelina as the lead singer is the best, no rebuttal accepted!"

"You two... we’re friends, right?" A flicker passed through the soul fire in Billy’s eye sockets. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

"Ah, yes, friends. Starting from now, we are no longer friends!" Flender sneered.

"Such a brief friendship, you bastards." Michelangelo extended his hand, with magic gathering in his palm.

"This way, we can strike without any reservations." Billy pulled out his magic wand from his spatial pocket.

The president of the Mage Association stood high, looking down and sensing the concentration of three powers of magic.

"Take those three guys away, send them to work off their debt at the speaker’s office," the president instructed his subordinates.

The concert hosted by Hastur seemed very successful in Chen Ze’s eyes, whether it was the songs from the concert or the performances of the four idols, they could all be considered outstanding; at least Chen Ze, as a human, later found himself deeply mesmerized.

Only, the effects seemed a bit puzzling, as throughout the two-hour concert, Chen Ze had to remind himself countless times.

"None of these—none at all—are normal..." Only by doing this could Chen Ze somewhat soothe his feelings upon seeing those special effects.

After all, this might be the first concert daring enough to strike the audience with spherical lightning, probably also the first to summon skeletons as backup dancers.

At least Chen Ze believed if it were him, he definitely wouldn’t go to watch, for facing deadly threats just watching a concert was too terrible.

"Manager? Manager!" Betty pushed the lost-in-thought Chen Ze.

"Hm? What’s up?" Chen Ze shook his head; he had just been thinking about the concert he and Lafra attended before.

Although Chen Ze hadn’t really been listening towards the end, his attention was completely on Lafra.

"A customer has arrived... The customer would like to order today’s special recommendation set meal," Betty sighed. Chen Ze opened up later than usual today and now he’s often lost in thought; she didn’t know what to say.

"Yeah, okay," Chen Ze patted his face to wake himself up a bit.

"Today’s special recommendation dish?" Chen Ze hesitated for a moment, but finally decided to make a serving of stir-fried squid.

For the side dish, Chen Ze decided to stick with garlic eggplant; though Magical Mapo Tofu would taste better, putting two spicy flavors together just didn’t seem quite right.

Stir-fried squid was the only dish Chen Ze wasn’t worried about running out of ingredients for, since he had a source that provided tentacles regularly.

Meanwhile, Betty was wiping the table, curiously eyeing the armor-clad guest sitting silently on the chair.

This customer was strange. When he first came in, he was very excited, but after asking a few questions, he became cold and detached again.

If she didn’t know better, Betty might have thought it was her hospitality that was lacking, or maybe the guest didn’t like the lemon water?

Betty hesitated, then took a bottle of Coca-Cola out of the restaurant’s freezer and poured a cup for the armor-clad person.

"Please enjoy," Betty said with a slight bow, preparing to leave.

"Wait! Is this, this Coca-Cola?" The armored person looked at Betty excitedly.

"Yes, this is Coca-Cola. Have you had it before?" Betty turned around, the Coca-Cola branding evident.

"It’s really... Coca-Cola!" The armored person took off the helmet, revealing a skull face.

Then a flash of light passed by, and the previously excited Undead instantly calmed down.

"Tsk, suppressed again?" The Undead looked calmly at Betty; it was clear she was a Succubus, much like his own chief steward.

So this probably wasn’t the world he wanted to return to, after all, his own world had some cosplay shops, but none that could cosplay to this extent.

"May I presumptuously ask, where is this place?" The Undead lifted his head to look at Betty; he could feel a powerful Magic Circle here.

"Here? This is the Dream Restaurant, customer," Betty said somewhat helplessly, she remembered telling this to the customer when he first came in.

"Betty, come get the dish," Chen Ze clapped his hands; the stir-fried squid was ready, though it hadn’t broken through the usual limits.

This left Chen Ze a bit disappointed.

Then Chen Ze peeked out from the kitchen and saw an Undead clad in black armor sitting in the restaurant, looking at him.

Chen Ze paused; this was clearly not Stan. If it had been Stan, Betty would have directly mentioned twenty servings of Buffet.

Chen Ze followed behind Betty as he walked out; he felt that this Undead looked somewhat familiar, especially the black armor and that helmet.

"Ainz Ooal Gown? Or should I call you Momonga-san?" Chen Ze saw the flash of light pass over the other person’s body and became even more certain of his thoughts.
