Chapter 125: Chapter Seventeen: Sorry, I’m Allergic to Virgins

"Dear guest, welcome to the Dream Restaurant. What would you like to eat?" Although conflicted, Chen Ze still decided to attend to this guest properly before discussing anything else.

"Eat?" Only heaven knew why the Dragon had dark circles under its eyes.

"I’m already cutting off my own flesh to pay debts, what else would I eat? A good meal so I could feel less pain while I’m cutting?" Upon hearing this, Chen Ze realized who this customer was.

After all, there were few Dragons that had fallen to this state, at least as far as Chen Ze knew, there was only this one.

"Erin Averi Flemea?" Chen Ze ventured to ask.

"You know me?" Flemea turned her head curiously to look at Chen Ze, as in her view, this human youth should not recognize a Dragon.

The key point was that he could even call out her full name, something very few knew; many were only aware that she was called Flemea.

Chen Ze nodded, then shook his head. "I don’t know you, but I’ve heard of your name."

Chen Ze didn’t mention his plan to buy her meat, otherwise, something terrible might occur.

"Is this a restaurant?" Flemea didn’t dwell on it too long, her curiosity leading her to look around.

"Yes, indeed it is..." Chen Ze began responding but was interrupted by Flemea. freewēbnoveℓ.com

"You must be deceiving me. Let’s make a bet if this place is a restaurant, then I will give you this red gemstone. If you lose, you must agree to do something for me." Looking at the smug Flemea, Chen Ze suddenly understood how Riesel must feel.

This Dragon truly might have some issues with its brain.

"Guest, here’s the menu. Do you want to order something?" Chen Ze handed the menu written by Betty to her.

Flemea casually flipped through it and then blinked her large eyes. "This place really is a restaurant?"

"Since it is, I’ll give you this gemstone." Flemea, without waiting for Chen Ze to say anything, tossed an egg-sized red gemstone to Chen Ze.

Holding the gemstone, Chen Ze’s face was one of confusion; he remembered that he hadn’t agreed to Flemea’s wager, so how did he end up receiving the gemstone?

What was this, forced betting?

"Then bring me the manager’s special recommendation for today." Flemea, looking dejected, slumped over the table and weakly handed the menu to Chen Ze.

Chen Ze handed the red gemstone back. He didn’t intend to keep it.

"Hey, what are you doing? This is yours now." Flemea grabbed Chen Ze, who was about to head to the kitchen, and asked in confusion.

"I didn’t bet with you." Chen Ze rolled his eyes and tied on his headband before heading back to the kitchen.

Flemea, holding the gemstone in her hand, looked oddly at Chen Ze’s retreating figure.

She had met the first ordinary human who wasn’t greedy for money.

Chen Ze stood in the kitchen, pondering over what special dish would be good to make today.

"Let’s try Potato Stew with Beef, but it’ll be with Otherworld beef. It should be quite interesting." Chen Ze nodded to himself.

Potato Stew with Beef was indeed a dish with a good reputation, tasty and filling; it was one of Chen Ze’s previous favorites.

Even now, it remained a favorite of his, it’s just that he seldom ate it because there were too many delicious options available.

Soon, a rich fragrance permeated the kitchen.

Flemea couldn’t help but swallow her saliva, the aroma was particularly appealing. Just by smelling it, Flemea felt an irresistible urge to drool.

Flemea lay on the table, staring intently at the kitchen, and just when she could hardly resist rushing in, Chen Ze finally came out carrying a large plate.

"Please enjoy your meal," Chen Ze said as he placed the braised beef with potatoes, the light cheesecake, and the Buffet on the table, along with a plate of stir-fried Zizania latifolia with meat.

Then, Chen Ze brought over a large bowl of rice and set it on the table.

Flemea wiped her mouth and scooped up a spoonful of the braised beef with potatoes, bringing it to her lips.

The bite was filled with a slightly thick sauce, potatoes that fell apart with a gentle bite, and beef that had absorbed the flavors of the sauce and spices.

With each chew, the juices from the beef spread in her mouth, assaulting Flemea’s taste buds with flavors she had never experienced before.

Chen Ze watched from the kitchen as Flemea closed her eyes in contentment, and he couldn’t help but smile. For a chef, these were the happiest moments.

[You have made a rather fine dish of braised beef with potatoes. Otherworld Cooking Experience has increased by 7 points.]

The improvement was significant. Lafra’s little vial of potion had saved Chen Ze a lot of time.

Chen Ze scratched his head, glanced at Flemea, who was still eating, and decided to go out and print the photo first.

He had promised Lafra a copy of the photo before; if he failed to deliver, Chen Ze feared he might be stepped on again.

Although Chen Ze didn’t quite understand why he had been stepped on yesterday, wasn’t it just because he asked Lafra a question?

Then Chen Ze stepped out through the side door, remembering there was a print shop not far from his restaurant.

Soon, Chen Ze returned, carrying a bag.

Upon entering the restaurant, Chen Ze noticed something was off.

The Dragon, who was supposed to pay with meat, was nowhere to be seen, leaving only empty plates and disarrayed cutlery.

Chen Ze was taken aback. What did this mean? Had he just been the victim of a dine-and-dash?

Going back to the kitchen, he saw Flemea wielding a kitchen knife, gesturing towards her own tail.

Chen Ze rubbed his eyes, then watched as Flemea raised the knife.

"Spare the dragon under your knife!" Chen Ze hurriedly stopped Flemea’s action and snatched the knife back.

"What are you doing?" asked Flemea, looking puzzled at Chen Ze.

"I should be asking you that! What are you up to?" Chen Ze was frustrated. Had he returned any later, would the tail have been gone?

And what then? Would Chen Ze earn the new title of Dracotail Artisan?

That title would be so lame; anyone who heard it would think Chen Ze was some sort of Monster Hunter master of part-breaking.

"I’m paying," Flemea said matter-of-factly.

"You’re paying with your tail?" Chen Ze was astounded; he thought Flemea was planning to cut off the meat she owed right here.

"Yeah, you didn’t want the gemstones." Flemea sized Chen Ze up and down.

"As for my body... I’m allergic to virgins."

"Who the heck are you calling evidence, and do you have virginity?" said Chen Ze, so angry he felt like chopping off Flemea’s head with the knife.

"Tsk tsk, poor virgin, you even got the order of words wrong," Flemea said with disdain, shaking her head.

"I remember someone once said, being a virgin for a moment isn’t important, don’t be afraid, because you’ll be a virgin for life."
