Chapter 115: Chapter 7: The Annoying Dragon

Chen Ze was very interested in hearing some gossip, even though he didn’t know that odd Dragon, but the love for gossip is a common human interest.

It’s like a tycoon on Forbes’ top 100 whose son suddenly racked up a debt he couldn’t pay, which made for an interesting tale.

However, Chen Ze still suppressed the urge inside and went back to the kitchen, choosing to first help Sebastian and the others prepare their dishes.

"I heard that in a few days it will be the auction day, and if that bastard really goes through with cutting off meat to sell, it will have a big impact on the Dragon Clan," Sebastian said, taking a sip of chilled lemon water, a sweet and sour taste he quite enjoyed.

"The clan leader went mad before because of suppressing that one’s seal, and a new clan leader hasn’t been decided yet, I really don’t want those short-lived species to mock us during this time," Riesel said with a gloomy expression. Though he often disliked his Dragon identity, that did not mean Riesel was willing to be the butt of the joke to humans.

"But the debt is, after all, to The First Empire of the Prime Material Plane, and if this causes a war with the human race, it would be a loss greater than the gain," Karelina responded calmly, slowly sipping her lemon water.

"Quite delicious, Riesel~ Come on, let me feed you a sip~" Karelina used Magic Power to wrap around a ball of lemon water, delivering it to Riesel’s side.

Riesel’s tail twitched nervously a few times, he was not fond of this Sprite Dragon who was much younger than himself.

"Just how many Gold Coins does Flemea owe?" Sebastian asked curiously, as Flemea’s reputation was widespread even in the Negative Plane.

Sebastian had never seen a Dragon who enjoyed luxuries and was especially given to gambling so much.

Every time she gambled, she would lose tens of thousands of Gold Coins, and even as a Dragon, Flemea did not have that many assets to squander.

"How many Gold Coins?" Riesel sneered, his laughter making even Sebastian shiver.

"That bastard bet against The First Empire’s Holy Magician and lost the Molten Heart!" Riesel said angrily, slamming his fist on the table. He really wanted to split open Flemea’s skull to see if it was filled with the stench of the abyssal marsh’s mud.

"Pfft..." Sebastian covered his chest, he really hadn’t expected the loss to include the Molten Heart.

"Is she crazy? That’s the Red Dragon Clan’s habitat we’re talking about!" Sebastian used Magic to conjure a cloth, wiping his mouth.

"What else do you think would make her cut off flesh to repay a debt? According to the despicable contract written by humans, everything on the Molten Heart now belongs to them," Karelina added.

"Lao Carter has already coughed up blood. It’s said he chased his own daughter across half of the Prime Material Plane, and if not for his reluctance to take drastic measures, we might be attending Flemea’s return ceremony by now," Riesel said, wishing he could take matters into his own hands. The death of one Flemea was nothing; there were many treasures accumulated by the Red Dragons on the Molten Heart!

"Lao Carter is really not handling it well!" Sebastian said, angrily slamming the table.

Riesel looked at Sebastian strangely. Could it be that Sebastian was overflowing with paternal love?

If such a disappointing daughter were his, Riesel would choose to slap her to death with one strike, to clean up the house.

"Lao Carter should have called me, I wouldn’t mind helping him for a bit of a labor fee," Sebastian said with a face full of indignation.

Chen Ze twitched the corners of his mouth, having also heard the conversation of Riesel and others, and now he felt that Dragons from the Otherworld really knew how to play.

Chen Ze served out Sebastian’s dish and then brought out Riesel’s hotpot.

"Riesel, your hotpot." Chen Ze placed a ridiculously spicy hotpot on the table, a dish he would only look at and never eat, not in this lifetime.

Chen Ze had no interest in ending up in the hospital with a stomach pump because of this hotpot.

"Is this your favorite hotpot?" Karelina had clearly learned quite a bit about him from Riesel.

"Yeah, but to enjoy this, you need to use Advanced Transformation Magic and eat it with a human body to truly appreciate the fun," Riesel said, his mood improved considerably at the mention of his favorite food.

Karelina nodded, then her entire form, following Riesel’s lead, transformed into that of an ordinary human.

Chen Ze smacked his lips. For the sake of love, Karelina really went all out.

Chen Ze kindly passed them a cup of ice-cold cola. Although drinking ice-cold cola didn’t do much when the food was too spicy, it could at least provide some relief.

Chen Ze returned to the kitchen. Now it was time to make Magical Mapo Tofu, and the thin-skinned buns were also ready.

"How does it feel?" Sebastian said with a teasing smile, looking at Karelina’s pale face.

He had always admired Riesel for choosing such a masochistic dish. Eating it in a dragon’s body made it far less intense.

Sebastian contentedly sliced a piece of light cheesecake and swallowed it. freёweɓnovel.com

Then he picked up a can of the black, chilled cola next to him and took a sip.

"Hmm! What is this? It’s so delicious!" Sebastian said, satisfied, flicking his tail. He really liked the chilled cola too.

Riesel picked up a cup to take a sip and nodded. His taste buds, which had been on the verge of numbing from the spiciness, felt somewhat revived.

"How about it? Don’t force yourself if you can’t handle it," Riesel glanced at Karelina beside him, whose complexion was as white as paper.

"I’m fine..." Karelina shook her head with effort. In a human body, the hotpot in front of her was simply the most evil of cuisines.

Karelina took a sip of the cola, the only thing that made her feel a bit better.

"Tsk tsk, love~" Sebastian shook his head.

Riesel watched Karelina scoop up a little meat with her spoon, hesitating to put it in her mouth, her hand trembling but determined.

Riesel reached out to touch Karelina’s head and a burst of light flashed. Karelina gave Riesel a curious look.

"I just don’t want you to lose interest in this restaurant because of this," Riesel said, lowering his head to continue eating his hotpot.

Karelina touched her lips. A protective spell had been cast there to reduce the sensation of the spice.

Then Karelina enjoyed her meal even more, while Sebastian had a pained expression on his face, having to watch them indulge in their public display of affection was simply unbearable for a dragon.

In a short while, Chen Ze brought out the Magical Mapo Tofu and the thin-skinned buns.

Riesel immediately looked up, smelling a familiar aroma.

"Manager, what’s this?" Riesel licked his lips, feeling the scent was particularly enticing.

"Magical Mapo Tofu, Riesel," Chen Ze said with a smile.
