Chapter 2803: Chapter 935: Lord of Darkness? What a Piece of Trash! Believe It If You Want! I’m Outta Here

The "God’s Chosen" of the Lord of Darkness, the current leader of the Black Servant Clan, Sir Black Servant Sen is actually already in despair.

After the God of the North Wind descended to the earth and froze half of the Black Servant Clan members within minutes, this ratman, endowed with "dark wisdom," decisively slinked away. Generally, creatures like ratmen are not inclined to such extraordinary wisdom of seeing danger and escaping like a catch shrimp, but individuals enlightened by the Lord of Darkness are different.

It can judge the battlefield’s momentum, and its ability to burrow allows it to move freely across the battlefield. It even witnessed the final confrontation between Murphy and Huggesen and Huggesen admitting defeat.

Although the ratman hasn’t seen much of the world, it can definitely assert that this battle is unwinnable, and as for the "assassination" attempt against Murphy, it was merely a blind cat catching a dead mouse.

Who knows why Mannis casually threw Murphy and his companions exactly in the direction Black Servant Sen was escaping. Compared to the explanation of a slip of the hand, Murphy believed it was intentional by Pipi Snake, who surely knew the ratman’s position all along.

The reason for this might be rooted in Pipi Snake’s malicious nature, wanting the "God’s Chosen" of the Lord of Darkness to complete the divine task, creating a prank to make itself happy for a few seconds.

And as proven, Laohei, imprisoned in the Star Realm, certainly has a unique eye for choosing God’s Chosen, perhaps due to the Harmonious God’s nature attracting clowns. The ratman’s earlier "world-shattering" assassination indeed made Mannis laugh in its den until it tied a sassy bow on itself.

"Speak, what’s going on here?"

Having gone through an assassination attempt without a scratch, Murphy now sat boldly on a nearby rock, casually pulling out a wolf-fang dagger from his chest, and taking out a scented handkerchief to wipe away the blood on the blade while looking at the ratman thrown in front of him by Maxim as if it were a chick.

The latter was scared senseless, seemingly also questioning the courage it had possessed to attempt an assassination on a vampire lord capable of beating up Huggesen?

Murphy stared at the ratman, making the wolf-fang dagger dance like a butterfly around his fingers, he said:

"You actually have a name! Just this fact proves your unorthodox nature within the ratman community, and I happen to like you unorthodox NPCs, which means I can get some hidden missions or something from you.

How did you get in touch with the Lord of Darkness?

Don’t you know, your freedom as ratmen depends entirely on my grace?"

"That voice..."

Possessing true "rat courage," Black Servant Sen, terrified, crawled on the ground, trembling:

"Your voice! I recognized it. It’s this voice... that broke the control our former master had over us. You are something formidable, you are something fun..."

"Swish"

Faced with the ratman’s verbal provocation, an expressionless Maxim drew a vampire blade to the ratman’s throat, making it shut up with a start. The Monster General swore that if this ratman kept running its mouth, he would tie its tongue in a knot in its mouth in Murphy’s name!

"I’m not a thing... Eh, never mind, arguing about these things with you is pointless."

Murphy was not angry, the ratman didn’t shout "Murphy’s thing, die, die, die!" which already showed it a lot of courtesy. So, the Vampire Lord waved his hand and said:

"Let me guess, after those infected by the Lord of Darkness escaped from the Blackflame Mountain Pass, by accident, they conspired with you ratmen, and you confused rats naturally joined the faith of the Lord of Darkness?"

"Yes, exactly."

Black Servant Sen, having recognized Murphy’s voice as the liberator, became much more docile.

In its simple mind, this complex world can always be interpreted simply, like the former master restricted ratmen = the former master is strong, Murphy liberated ratmen from the former master = Murphy is stronger than the former master!

And ratmen submit to the strong, thus it must behave in front of Murphy.

As for the assassination...

It was the Lord of Darkness who made it do it, not its own desire. The poor rat couldn’t resist the Lord’s darkness and could only be a knife to harm the strong. So, from any angle, it’s not its fault.

"The Lord of Darkness ordered you to assassinate me? How did you get mixed up with the Wolf People?"

Murphy asked a follow-up question.

Black Servant Sen spilled the whole story like beans from a bamboo tube, but its thinking was clearly inadequate to explain such complex matters. In its incoherent narrative, even Murphy with his agile mind could barely grasp the basic logic.

He immediately felt thankful that the ratmen beguiled by the Lord of Darkness weren’t in large numbers; otherwise, if Huggesen had gotten a ratman army as an assistant, the Maginot Line could have suffered unaffordable disaster.

Yet, as Black Servant Sen spoke, it started feeling something was wrong.

It could feel the dark powers coursing through its body rapidly gathering uncontrollably, making it feel like a balloon being blown larger.

"Ah, bad thing... it hurts!"

It screamed in pain.
