Chapter 310: Demi-gods Going all Out

Bang! Bang!

Bang! Bang!

Blood sprayed through the air while saliva and furious snarls escaped Bachi’s mouth as he desperately tried to fight back. His fists flew like artillery shells, each strike capable of flattening mountains, yet none of them found their target. He cursed. He roared. He raged.

Every movement carried enough force to crush lesser demigods into dust, but all of it felt meaningless before Damian’s fists. Predicting where Damian would strike next was harder than playing Russian roulette. At least with that there was the illusion of probability.

Against Damian’s attacks there was no such comfort. Every feint concealed another feint. Every opening became a trap. Every retreat somehow led directly into another blow. The combination of Foresight, Moon Steps and Damian’s terrifying combat instincts transformed what should have been a duel into a one-sided beating.

"Enough!"

Mudhhib appeared from the side like a streak of desert lightning. A spear of compressed sand shot forward from his palm, spiraling as it pierced through the battlefield with enough force to punch through a fortress wall. The attack struck Damian directly.

Or rather, it struck what appeared to be Damian.

The body shattered into violet sparks. It was an afterimage.

Swoosh!

Mudhhib instantly broke off his advance and twisted around, searching for the real target. His instincts screamed danger.

Boom! Boom!

Boom! Boom!

Violet explosions erupted across his waist before he could fully react. The detonations tore apart his lower body, scattering it into hundreds of thousands of grains of sand that exploded outward like a desert storm.

[Fox’s Kiss!]

The system notification flashed briefly.

"This fucking genie is beginning to piss me off."

Damian’s voice was low and cold as he stared at Mudhhib’s reforming body. Violet flames danced across his fingertips while irritation twisted his expression.

The wounds he inflicted were impressive, but they accomplished little. The bastard simply kept rebuilding himself. Limbs. Flesh. Organs. Everything reformed from sand as though physical destruction meant nothing.

His gaze drifted briefly toward the endless ocean below and a wicked smile slowly spread across his face.

What if he drowned this bastard?

Wouldn’t that work?

The thought genuinely appealed to him.

Brrrrrr!

He barely had time to consider it before his senses exploded with warning signals.

His head snapped upward. A flaming comet descended from the heavens. The night sky itself seemed to split apart beneath its arrival. The surrounding air ignited and clouds evaporated.

At the center of the destruction was Jugra. The Ifrit demigod had transformed himself into a living celestial catastrophe.

Damian’s smile widened.

At least this one was considerate enough to package himself inside his attack.

That made things easier.

White flames burst around Damian’s palms as killing intent flashed through his eyes. However before he could move, his ears twitched.

Of course, Bachi and Mudhhib were already moving.

The two demons shot forward from opposite directions, sealing off his attack paths while Jugra descended from above.

A perfect pincer attack.

’Of course those motherfuckers won’t let me toast him.’

Damian cursed silently.

"WILD!"

BUZZZZ!

Dark purple energy erupted from his body. The ocean below exploded and the clouds above scattered and the world’s itself seemed to tremble as a colossal seven-tailed fox made entirely of demonic energy roared into existence.

ROOOOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!

Without hesitation the massive beast lunged upward. Its gigantic paws slammed into the descending meteor.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

The collision shook the battlefield.

The energy fox’s feet crashed into the ocean beneath. Thousands of tons of seawater exploded skyward as it struggled against the overwhelming weight. Waves surged outward in every direction.

Even then the fox refused to yield. Its muscles bulged and it’s seven tails whipped violently. Its jaws opened in a furious roar as it held the falling comet in place.

Meanwhile Damian completely ignored the catastrophic struggle taking place behind him.

His attention remained fixed on the two approaching enemies.

He casually began walking toward them.

"Keep that one busy. I’ll kill these two quickly and get back to you."

ROOOAAARRR!

The fox avatar answered immediately.

Damian nodded approvingly before returning his attention to Mudhhib and Bachi.

Rakshasa Art: Thousand Faces!

The moment the words left Bachi’s mouth, the battlefield changed.

One became ten.

Ten became fifty.

Fifty became one hundred.

Perfect copies appeared in every direction. Each possessed identical features and identical wounds.

Damian frowned slightly.

The clones themselves were not particularly powerful. He could immediately tell that each possessed only a fraction of the original’s strength.

The problem was the numbers. A hundred enemies filling the battlefield was irritating. Mostly because looking at Bachi’s face a hundred times in a row felt like punishment.

"I apologize, my Prince, but from this moment onward we can no longer afford restraint. You will experience nothing less than our full strength."

All one hundred voices spoke simultaneously. The synchronized sound rolled across the battlefield like thunder.

Damian slowly scanned the army before him. Every face carried bruises, visible reminders of the beating he had delivered moments earlier.

Even now those injuries were healing rapidly.

Swoosh!

His attention suddenly shifted at the fine grains of sand drifted through the air.

They floated lazily at first then faster until the entire battlefield seemed to be drowning in them.

Damian stopped walking.

His eyes narrowed as he noticed the sand had spread far beyond his immediate surroundings.

It had gone farther until an enormous perimeter formed around them like a cube or a prison.

Slowly the Djinn was creating world made entirely of sand.

Sicon Of Dunes: Desert Domain!

Mudhhib’s lower body had completely vanished. Trails of living sand extended from his torso into every corner of the growing domain.

The storm intensified and visibility began disappearing. The ocean vanished beneath layers of swirling sand and the sky vanished shortly afterward.

At this point, Damian couldn’t help but feel like he was standing in the desert. If it weren’t for a several holes still being closed up, he could have been fooled completely.

This power was truly chasing the battlefield into an element only Mudhhibb could control.

"Even as a Prince, you will come to understand that your power can be rivaled by the combined might of the strongest races of the Underworld. Our inheritances may be inferior, but we have maintained control of the Underworld for countless centuries despite the existence of Princes from every race in the mortal realm. You are about to learn that truth the hard way."

Mudhhib’s voice echoed from everywhere at once.

Bachi and his ninety-nine clones had already completed the encirclement.

One hundred Rakshasas and a Sand Lord against one Prince.

The battlefield suddenly looked very different. Damian stood alone in the center as the storm continued growing stronger.

The winds howled louder and visibility shrank further. The world was becoming a tomb yet Damian merely looked around and he laughedmockingly. Just enough to show how unimpressed he was.

"So you believe a hundred clones with ten percent of your strength and a mediocre sandstorm will do me in?"

His tone dripped with disdain.

Truly, their ignorance would become the death of them. Damian glanced over his shoulder.

Far away and nearly completely gone from his sight was his Wild continued wrestling with the burning meteor.

The giant fox had been pushed halfway into the ocean now. Massive waves exploded around it while Jugra continued forcing his attack downward.

Damian’s eyes narrowed.

He wasn’t sure how much longer the Wild could hold Jugra there.

’I’ll have to hurry and kill these two fast.’

The decision formed instantly.

His pupils multiplied. Three irises rotated slowly within each eye. The surrounding world seemed to slow. The movement of the sand became visible and the flow of energy became visible.

The position of every clone became visible. The weaknesses became visible and Damian slowly spread his arms.

His six energy limbs unfolded behind him. Purple markings crawled across his body and his tails swayed behind him.

His wings stretched outward.

Damian revealed a dangerous smile. The smile of a predator who had already chosen where to bite.

"Come at me."

Damian’s voice echoed throughout the desert domain and his eyes gleamed with cold excitement.

"I’ll end this in an instant."

__ Meanwhile __

Ruby sat quietly on the couch while Racheal and Hazel occupied the edge of the bed. At the center of the room, Rah remained kneeling on the floor with her crimson hair disheveled and scattered across her shoulders.

Her twisted left arm slowly rotated back into place, accompanied by a series of sickening cracks and pops as shattered bones and torn flesh knitted themselves together. The pain was evident in the tightness of her jaw, yet the triumphant look in her eyes never faded.

"You can’t touch me now. Not now. Not ever again." Rah hissed disdainfully at the three women.

The declaration only caused their expressions to darken further.

Everyone in the room understood the reason for her confidence.

Damian had already signed a [Faustian Bargain] with Marquis Kan.

The agreement changed everything.

Rah was now officially part of Damian’s household.

Even if her standing was low, she was no longer merely a hostage.

She had become Damian’s concubine.

And unlike Lin Qui, Damian was not the kind of man who would simply overlook internal conflicts within his household. The three women knew this better than anyone.

For all their status and strength, they were not yet his permanent mating partners. Their positions remained unstable. Their future depended entirely upon Damian’s favor.

That was what made Rah’s existence so irritating.

If they acted recklessly now and Damian interpreted it as hostility toward his newly acquired concubine, there was no telling how he would respond.

The possibility alone was enough to restrain them.

After all, favor within a Prince’s household was not a fixed thing.

Positions rose.

Positions fell.

A concubine today could become a wife tomorrow.

And if Rah managed to secure Damian’s attention before any of them solidified their own positions, her status could rise frighteningly fast.

The thought left a bitter taste in the mouths of all three women.

Meanwhile, Rah seemed to understand their dilemma perfectly.

A smug smile slowly spread across her face as her arm finished healing completely.

The room grew colder.

Not because of demonic power.

Because the hostility between the four women had become tangible enough to suffocate the air itself.
