The café immediately fell silent. Nacho’s friend, sitting across from him, slurped up the spaghetti and scoffed.
"Nacho, think about marriage only after you paid off your debts. Now finish eating your french fries. We got a train to catch," he replied.
A train to catch this, a train to catch that... I’m so damn tired of this, Nacho thought, stuffing the french fries into his mouth.
He’d been working as a cartel debt collector for almost two years now. As shitty as it was, at least the pay was nice. More than enough to pay back his father’s debts.
If not for him being unable to leave, he’d be gone already. Well, his life wasn’t half bad, so he didn’t dwell on it. After finishing his food, he gestured at his co-worker, and the two of them left the café.
