Chapter 2031: Chapter 2027: Stab Me

After Tang Ming was reborn, he left the scene, while on the other side, Left Hand, covered in blood, and the other two Two-star Martial Generals had survived by sheer luck. The three of them jumped down from the upper floor just in time, then relied on their powerful cultivation to withstand the explosion, but even so, they were still badly injured.

"That damn bastard, he’s totally insane. Our losses this time are way too big."

Left Hand sat on the ground, gritting his teeth as he looked at the surroundings that had already become ruins.

"With an explosion on this scale, even if that guy is an Undying, his corpse is probably blown to bits, right?"

One of the Martial Generals muttered uncertainly as he wiped the blood from his body.

"Bullshit! That bastard isn’t an Undying at all. Back then Hua Luoying stabbed him once and the wound didn’t heal right away. It was the Hua Family brothers who insisted he was an Undying."

Left Hand cursed darkly, his face ugly: "This is all the Dragon Group’s doing. Looks like the Hua Family brothers had already grown disloyal long ago, they just never had the chance to run."

"You mean all of this was orchestrated by the Dragon Group, and they colluded with the Hua Family brothers?"

"What else could it be? We checked: Tang Ming himself is a member of the Dark Group, and the Dark Group is subordinate to the Dragon Group. Plus the conflict between him and Hua Luoying happened way too coincidentally. There’s definitely something huge going on behind this."

Left Hand analyzed in a gloomy tone, mainly influenced by what Tang Ming had said before the explosion.

"So what do we do now?"

"Go back to headquarters and report to the three leaders. The Dragon Group has other Undyings and has gotten intel on the Hua Family brothers. We have to notify the three leaders immediately."

Left Hand propped himself up, glancing painfully in the direction of the experimental building: "Damn Dragon Group made us lose so many people and a lab worth tens of billions. I figure the M Country authorities won’t let this slide easily either. Let’s go back and discuss it with the boss first."

"Okay, okay!"

The three of them supported each other as they left the scene without even saying hello to the M Country officials—mainly because they had no way to explain.

The M Country side was completely stunned by this massive explosion. An explosion on this scale was no less than a super missile strike, especially in a country like M Country; it would be hard to give the public an explanation.

When Dean Kawa found out what had happened, he was so furious he nearly keeled over. Heavenly Wolf Palace had lost a lot of experts, and they themselves had lost countless funds and manpower. Luckily, there weren’t many ordinary civilians living in the whole neighborhood, so the news was still within a range that could be easily suppressed. If too many civilians had been blown to death, it really would’ve turned into major headline news.

The M Country authorities were busy covering up the truth and had no mind to bother with the people from Heavenly Wolf Palace. Their relationship was only cooperation and mutual exploitation anyway. Now that the entire experimental base was gone, the so-called research project naturally no longer existed, and the cooperation between both sides ended there.

Tang Ming couldn’t be bothered with the M Country side of things. Under cover of night, he threw on some clothes and rushed straight to Ruisi’s place.

"Oh my God! Weren’t you going back to your country? Why are you here again?"

Seeing Tang Ming, Ruisi was both shocked and suspicious: "And where did you get those clothes? They’re all loose and baggy—whose are they?"

"It’s a long story. Let me take a shower first. You get me some food and clothes."

Tang Ming grabbed Ruisi and planted a hard kiss on her, then scampered into the bathroom to shower.

"This guy’s pretty hot-blooded, huh!"

Ruisi’s face turned bright red from Tang Ming’s kiss, but her mood was stirred up with excitement. She personally went to prepare food and clothes for him.

Half an hour later, Tang Ming, wrapped in a bath towel, sat at the long noble-style table in the castle eating. One leg was propped up on the chair, making him look extremely...

Ruisi didn’t mind Tang Ming’s behavior at all. Instead, she enthusiastically kept getting him food while asking him one curious question after another.

"Oh my God! I thought after you went back, you’d do exactly what you said to that Zhang Chuming—lure the Hua Family brothers and the Heavenly Wolf Palace people into Huaxia. I didn’t expect so many things to happen."

After hearing about Tang Ming’s experiences back home, Ruisi exclaimed in disbelief.

"Things went more or less according to plan. We did draw the attention of Heavenly Wolf Palace and the Hua Family brothers back to Huaxia. I just didn’t expect that once those guys at home heard I was the heir to a Huaxia Secret Technique, they’d actually decide to take me out. Then Left Hand and Hua Luoying recaptured me without breaking a sweat."

Tang Ming sighed helplessly as he ate.

"And then? How did you get away... The big explosion in the city earlier seemed to come from the direction of Saint Yale University. Don’t tell me that was your doing?"

Ruisi’s expression changed slightly as she asked Tang Ming uncertainly.

"Hehe, that’s right, all that commotion over there was my handiwork."

Tang Ming grinned, quickly put down his food, and began wiping his hands: "Come here, I’ll show you something good."

"What?"

Ruisi walked over to Tang Ming in puzzlement.

Tang Ming stood up and pulled the bath towel off his body.

"You... You could at least finish eating first, right? Don’t tell me you want to do it on the dining table?"

Seeing that Tang Ming had stripped himself completely bare, Ruisi’s face flushed crimson as she shot him a glare.

"That’s not what I’m asking you to look at."

Tang Ming rolled his eyes speechlessly, picked up the table knife, and handed it to Ruisi: "Stab me."

"What?"

Ruisi held the table knife in a daze, completely dumbfounded: "Did they experiment on you and drive you insane or something?"

"No. Just stab me, I’ll show you something fun."

Tang Ming hurried her on.

"Are you kidding me? You know I would never hurt you."

Ruisi shook her head at once, convinced Tang Ming had to be crazy. Who the hell makes that kind of request? Total pervert.

"I said stab, so stab. I promise it’ll be fine."

Tang Ming looked at Ruisi, utterly exasperated.

"No way, no way, I absolutely won’t do that."

Ruisi shook her head firmly.

"You... I’ll do it myself then!"

Tang Ming curled his lip, snatched the table knife from Ruisi’s hand, and without the slightest hesitation, plunged it into his own chest.

"Ah!"

Ruisi screamed immediately, then went dumb. She saw the knife sticking from Tang Ming’s chest, but there was no blood, and the wound was even emitting a white glow—he looked nothing like a human being.

"Wh-what’s going on?"

Ruisi stared at Tang Ming in a stupor.

"This is the result of the Hua Family brothers using me as an experiment. For no reason at all they turned me into an Undying."

Tang Ming pulled the knife out of his chest. "That idiot Left Hand dreams of becoming like this, and in the end the bargain falls right into my lap."

"Oh my God! It’s healed. It actually healed that fast."

Ruisi stared in disbelief at the wound on Tang Ming’s chest rapidly knitting back together.

"It’s not healing, it’s regeneration. Pretty awesome, right?"

Tang Ming immediately grinned smugly.

"Awesome, way too awesome. Let me try."

Ruisi quickly snatched the table knife and jabbed it toward Tang Ming’s chest.
