Chapter 115: Fire VS Ice

The salty night breeze swept across the East Harbor Cargo Docks. Large cranes towered over stacks of shipping containers. Workers hurried from truck to truck while armed guards watched every corner.

Two massive cargo ships had already departed. Their silhouettes slowly disappeared into the darkness.

Only two ships remained. The loading operation continued without interruption. Wooden crates marked with fake shipping labels were being pushed toward the remaining vessels.

Nobody watched from atop a shipping container. He counted silently.

"...One..."

"...Two..."

"...Three..."

He nodded. "Yep. Definitely illegal." He stretched his shoulders before jumping down.

THUD.

The sound echoed through the dock. Several workers turned around.

Nobody spread both arms dramatically. "Hellooooo babies! Daddy’s home!" He continued,"Daddy’s gonna give you lots of smacky candies today!"

The entire dock suddenly fell silent. Every thug stopped working. Forklifts halted.

The guards stared blankly.

One worker whispered, "...Who invited this guy?"

Another scratched his head. "...Is he drunk?"

A thug carrying a rifle stepped forward. "Who the actual f**k are you?"

Nobody proudly placed a hand on his chest. "Classic question." He pointed a crowbar at the thug. "Classic answer." Nobody shouted while grinning,"I am the bunny who’s gonna kick your human as*."

The thug blinked. "...What?"

Another one laughed loudly. "Hahaha! This idiot actually thinks he can stop us alone!"

Soon the entire dock burst into laughter.

Nobody sighed dramatically. "Aww. You guys laugh before the show even starts. I appreciate enthusiastic audiences."

Far away...Watching through countless floating screens...

Ray rested his chin on one hand. "...Kinda boring." He snapped his fingers. "Let’s upgrade the sparks of the fight."

The world around the cargo docks shimmered slightly.

Nobody immediately noticed. "...Here we go."

Every weapon held by the thugs suddenly began glowing bright crimson.

WHOOSH!

Flames erupted from rifles. Batons ignited. Even knives burned with scarlet fire. The workers screamed .

"My gun!"

"It’s on fire!"

"My knife too!"

Then...Their eyes slowly began glowing. Orange flames flickered inside their pupils.

Nobody stared. "...Seriously?...That bitc*-as* higher being. Can’t even let me live in peace."

Ray smiled from above. "Now that’s entertainment."

The thugs suddenly grinned. Every single one of them. Their expressions became strangely violent.

The system responded immediately.

[Warning]

[Enemy Enhancement Detected]

[Fire Attribute Applied]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Nobody sighed. "Figures."

The system continued.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Suggestion]

[Would User Like To Temporarily Infuse Ice Element Into Crowbars?]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Nobody grinned. "Heck yeah."

The familiar metallic sound echoed.

CLANG!

CLANG!

Twin crowbars appeared inside his hands.

Another notification followed.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Infusing Ice Element...]

[Synchronization Complete]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

A cold mist surrounded both crowbars. Snow-white particles floated through the air. The metal gradually turned icy blue. Frost spread across their surfaces.

The surrounding temperature noticeably dropped.

Nobody admired them. "Daaang. This looks cool. I look like some kind of overpowered ice-element main character."

The system answered immediately.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Correction]

[User Is Making It Sound Like I Copied Someone Else’s Powers.]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Nobody laughed. "Nah. This is original enough." He pointed both glowing crowbars toward the burning thugs. "Alright. Let’s begin...The Ice vs. Fire Hunt."

The nearest thug roared. "Kill him!"

More than twenty rushed simultaneously.

Nobody smiled. "Good. I hate waiting."

WHOOSH!!

The first burning sword swung toward his neck.

Nobody casually tilted his head. The blade narrowly missed.

At the same moment....

CLANG!!

His icy crowbar struck the flaming weapon.

CRACK!

The fire covering the sword instantly froze. The entire blade became encased in ice.

The thug stared. "...What?"

Nobody winked. "Cold enough for you? Was it colder than your ex?"

SMASH!!

The frozen weapon shattered into hundreds of icy fragments.

The thug froze in disbelief. "...My sword..." Before he could react....

BONK!!

Nobody’s second crowbar introduced itself to the man’s forehead. The thug spun twice before collapsing unconscious.

"One down."

Five more immediately surrounded him. They attacked from every direction.

Nobody spun gracefully.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

Every collision released freezing mist. Weapons became coated in frost. Flames weakened.

The thugs suddenly noticed something. "Our fire...It’s disappearing!"

Nobody laughed.

"Water beats flame, Ice does same.

Crimson Bunny wins every of his game!!

Another thug rushed with a flaming axe. Nobody blocked effortlessly. The icy crowbar absorbed the heat. Steam exploded between them.

HISSSSS!!

The thug’s axe cracked apart.

Nobody smiled. "Quality control failed."

BONK!

The axe user joined his unconscious friends.

Meanwhile....

Several gunmen aimed simultaneously. "Fire!"

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Bullets shot toward Nobody. He spun both crowbars.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

Every bullet ricocheted away. Some bullets froze midair before dropping harmlessly.

One guard nearly fainted. "...He froze bullets?"

Nobody looked at him. "Nah. I just made them lose motivation to go on..."

The guard blinked. "...Bullets can lose motivation?"

Nobody shrugged. "I don’t know....Ask the physics department."

The remaining thugs looked at one another. "This guy’s insane."

"No...Worse. He got some good humour.."

Nobody gasped dramatically. "Aww...You noticed."

Suddenly....Three flaming chains shot toward him.

Nobody leaped backward. The chains smashed through several crates. Drugs scattered across the ground.

Nobody glanced at the white packets. "So that’s what you’re protecting." His cheerful expression slowly faded. "You people really make money by ruining lives. Testing on innocent youngsters, ruining students’ daily lives.

Nobody slowly twirled his icy crowbars. "I was joking around earlier." He looked at us and said,"But...This part? I genuinely hate, guys."

The thugs charged again.

Nobody disappeared.

FLASH!!

"Zigzag!" He reappeared behind three enemies.

BONK!

BONK!

BONK!

Each received a precise strike to the back of the head. All three collapsed together. A fourth thug screamed. "He’s behind us!"

"No." Nobody’s voice echoed from above. "Now I’m above."

They looked upward. Nobody had somehow jumped onto a cargo crane.

He waved cheerfully. "Peekaboo."

The guards opened fire.

Nobody jumped again, landing atop a moving shipping container.

Then another.

Then another.

His movements resembled a rabbit hopping through a steel forest. Nobody laughed loudly. "Catch me if you can!"

One furious thug shouted, "Stop moving!"

Nobody stopped. "...Okay."

The thug smiled. "Finally."

Nobody pointed behind him. "...You sure?"

The thug slowly turned. A frozen shipping hook swung directly toward him. He said,"Mommy....!"

BONNNG!!

He flew several meters before landing inside a pile of cardboard boxes.

Nobody scratched his helmet. "...Oops. My bad."

The system displayed another notification.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Enemies Remaining: 18]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Nobody stretched his shoulders. "Only eighteen? Adult number huh...? I thought tonight’s hunt would last longer." He looked toward the remaining cargo ships. Workers desperately continued loading the final crates despite the chaos. Nobody narrowed his eyes. "Nope. Not happening."

He lowered both icy crowbars into a battle stance. The cold mist around them intensified. Snowflakes drifted through the warm harbor air.

The fire burning within the enemies’ weapons flared even brighter. Fire and ice. Heat and frost.

The remaining thugs instinctively took several steps back.

Nobody slowly walked toward them, casually resting one icy crowbar on his shoulder. The frosty mist trailing behind him spread across the concrete floor.

One nervous thug swallowed hard. "W-Why is it getting colder?"

Another tightened his grip on his flaming machete. "I don’t know... but this guy gives me the creeps."

Nobody overheard them and pointed at himself. "Me? I look adorable." He spread his arms. "Look at the bunny helmet...Very family-friendly..."

One thug shouted, "Don’t listen to him! He’s trying to get inside your head!"

Nobody nodded approvingly. "Smart guy. But unfortunately...I’m already inside his head..."

The thug blinked. "...What?"

Before he could process those words....

FLASH!

Nobody used Zigzag. He vanished from everyone’s sight.

The next second...

CLANG!

A loud metallic sound echoed.

The smart thug suddenly found both of his flaming swords frozen together. "...Huh?"

Nobody was standing right beside him. "Congratulations...You’ve unlocked the Limited Edition Ice Sculpture Pack."

The thug desperately tried pulling his swords apart. "They’re stuck! They’re seriously stuck!"

Nobody casually tapped the frozen weapons with one finger.

CRACK!

Both shattered into glittering shards of ice.

The thug stared at the broken pieces. "My weapons...My expensive weapons..."

Nobody patted his shoulder. "Think of it positively. You’ve just contributed to modern art."

BONK!

One clean crowbar strike later, the thug spun in a full circle before collapsing flat on his face.

Another five enemies roared and charged together.

Nobody grinned beneath the helmet. "Now that’s teamwork."

The flaming weapons came from every direction.

Nobody planted one crowbar into the ground. A burst of icy energy spread outward in a circular wave.

WHOOSH!

The concrete floor instantly froze.

Every charging thug suddenly lost their footing. "WAAAH! MY LEGS! I CAN’T STOP!" They slid uncontrollably across the ice.

Two crashed into a forklift. Another three slammed headfirst into a stack of shipping crates.

CRASH!

Boxes burst open, spilling packets all over the dock.

Nobody looked at the scene and slowly applauded. "Outstanding. Ten out of ten. Perfect synchronized falling."

One dizzy thug tried to stand. He immediately slipped again.

Nobody couldn’t help laughing. "Dang...You guys are making this easier than the tutorial stages."

The system displayed another blue notification.

[Combat Analysis]

Current Ice Element Efficiency: 87%

Enemy Fire Enhancement Gradually Weakening.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Nobody twirled both glowing crowbars once more. A confident grin spread beneath the crimson bunny helmet. "Good...Looks like the hunt is finally getting interesting."

Around him, the surviving thugs slowly regrouped, their burning eyes fixed on the lone crimson biker.

Nobody simply cracked his neck. "Come on, babies. Daddy still has plenty of smacky candies left."

The entire cargo dock had become their battlefield.

Nobody smiled beneath the crimson bunny helmet.

"Round Two. Let’s dance."
