"What does Mrs. Kane’s niece’s birthday have to do with you!"

Renee turned to look at Nina Monroe, who was standing next to Mrs. Kane. This face definitely had something to do with Felix Lockwood.

"I’m here to attend the Ford Family banquet. As for why?"
"Because Mrs. Kane and I are classmates!"

Mrs. Kane followed up, "I sent the invitation knowing Young Master Grant was in the Imperial Capital."
Felix Lockwood’s explanation was flawless. As the eldest son of the Lockwood Family, him coming to the Imperial Capital meant Mrs. Kane urgently needed to expand her connections. Knowing he was here, she naturally sent an invitation over.
She used her niece’s birthday party as a pretext, intending to build relations with various families.
"Mrs. Lockwood!"

Renee chose not to continue arguing with Felix and Wendy and smiled to leave herself a way out. "In that case, I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll be off first."
"Everyone, enjoy."
Finishing her words, Renee really turned and left.
Ethan Grant followed, escorting her out of the Ford Family residence.
The commotion ended just like that, and everyone wondered why it ended so quickly!
