Chapter 2923: Chapter 942

Once Zhou Tian successfully invades and corrupts the World Rules of Paradise, enabling himself to not be suppressed by Paradise and even control its Power of the Worlds, then Zhou Tian would no longer need to do what he is doing now. Because by that time, no matter who fights him in Paradise, Zhou Tian will not need to fear. With an absolute strength advantage, annexing Paradise would shift from covert actions to a direct assault.

From the current situation, it is clear that Zhou Tian’s plan seems to have no problems at the moment. And given the circumstances at the time, as long as no unforeseen circumstances occur, those deities have no chance of discovering any problem in a short period. Since they have always believed they can eliminate Zhou Tian as an enemy, it is also impossible for them to notify the Light God King. But based on the strength of those deities, without the help of the Light God King, how can they possibly be opponents to Zhou Tian? Thus, given the significant difference in strength at the time, theoretically, those deities actually stand no chance as opponents to Zhou Tian. Utilizing the mindset of those deities at this time, there might be hope for Zhou Tian to corrupt parts of the Paradise’s World Rules.

However...

Zhou Tian’s performance at the time was already quite impressive, and if his plan were not feasible, he would not have been able to exploit the deities’ mindset to that extent. Therefore, Zhou Tian’s performance at that time, while not exceptionally outstanding, had already fully utilized his side’s advantage.

The unfortunate reality is that human plots often fail to account for divine interventions; no matter how cleverly Zhou Tian plotted, some unforeseen accidents still disrupted his steps when confronted with certain circumstances.

In fact, under the circumstances at the time, as long as no accidents occurred, Zhou Tian entangling with those deities for a while should not be a problem. And during the entanglement, without mentioning how many modified angels his angels would kill, the mere process of confrontation could already exponentially increase the Abyss World’s influence on Paradise.

All Zhou Tian needed to do was achieve that effect, and once he could normally exert his strength in Paradise, he would no longer need to fear the Light God King.

However, just as Zhou Tian’s actions seemed likely to achieve the intended goal, some unforeseen factors forced the termination of his plan.

There was nothing fundamentally wrong with Zhou Tian’s plan; if it hadn’t been effective, those deities wouldn’t have been fooled thoroughly. Unfortunately, though Zhou Tian’s plan appeared flawless, in execution he still failed to account for some things.

Zhou Tian underestimated the extent to which the Light God King valued Paradise.

In Zhou Tian’s view, although Paradise was extremely important to the Light God King, as it was only with the help of modified angels in Paradise that the Light God King could claim the fame of a top Divine King wielding the strength of a high-level Divine King. Considering the importance of modified angels to the Light God King, it was unsurprising for the Light God King to heavily value Paradise.

But in Zhou Tian’s view, no matter how important Paradise was to the Light God King, having ruled it for such a long time without encountering any real danger meant that, even under those circumstances, the Light God King was likely to relax vigilance somewhat.

Acting on that belief, Zhou Tian formulated his plan. He believed that if nothing unforeseen occurred, the Light God King would not be aware of what was happening in Paradise in such a short time. In the given circumstances, Zhou Tian could fully exploit the deities’ mindset in Paradise to keep them from informing the Light God King of the situation.

Therefore, if none of the deities in Paradise notified the Light God King of the siege, even if the Light God King kept a close watch on Paradise, he couldn’t continually monitor its every change.

In the situation at the time, it seemed that the Light God King wouldn’t notice the upheaval in Paradise for a short while. Thus, Zhou Tian could use that time to accomplish something. By the time the Light God King realized something wasn’t right, Zhou Tian would have long prepared for battle. In such a situation, even if the Light God King discovered Zhou Tian’s actions, it would likely be impossible for him to repel Zhou Tian thoroughly.

Zhou Tian had a certain confidence in his strength. Ignoring the influence of Paradise, Zhou Tian did not consider the Light God King as an opponent anymore.

So if Zhou Tian’s plan progressed smoothly and he succeeded in corrupting Paradise, then perhaps by the time he corrupted the World Rules of Paradise to a point where it did not hinder any of his actions, Zhou Tian’s annexation of Paradise would not meet any resistance during that time.
