Chapter 1061: Chapter 425: Bone Demon Cave

After weighing his options, Zhou Tian moved quite swiftly.

Within the short span that Zhou Tian had to gather information, he knew that there were still a considerable number of monsters within the sphere of influence of the players. Among the many monster forces, there were quite a few territories suitable for placing a spatial teleportation array. However, Zhou Tian was aware of only one or two such locations.

After some consideration, Zhou Tian decided to situate the teleportation array within the territory of a monster force, at a certain distance from the player’s castle.

Bone Demon Cave!

This was a force whose power seemed to lie somewhere between Pope Level and King Level. In theory, due to the size of its territory, this force could have been classified as a King Level power. In the sphere of influence of the players where Zhou Tian had started, this Bone Demon force occupied a territory almost as vast as the continent Zhou Tian had originated from. Although the quality of life in these underground territories wasn’t great, the strength of a monster force is determined by the size of its territory, not the environment. Therefore, based on the land they possessed, this Bone Demon Clan should have been a King Level power no matter what.

However, unfortunately for the Bone Demon Clan, they caught the players’ attention early on and were incorporated into their realm of influence. The result was that, although the territory was still nominally under the Bone Demon’s name, the actual ruling power had long fallen into the players’ hands.

Due to the players’ needs, they would come out and deal with the Bone Demons periodically. Given the players’ strength, not a single member of the Bone Demons Clan, from top to bottom, could withstand their attacks. Thus, the players reaped many benefits within Bone Demon Territory, with quite a few leveling up here. The power increase for the players, however, resulted in losses for the Bone Demon Clan—due to the players’ attacks, the clan had fallen from a King Level to a Pope Level force.

Regardless, no matter how destitute the Bone Demon Clan might currently be, they still had their foundations. Even though the clan’s strength had been significantly weakened due to their monsters being frequently killed, the remaining creatures were not ones the average player could bully at will. Therefore, although many players would visit the Bone Demon Territory, their numbers were inherently limited. Especially the lowest levels of the Bone Demon Territory—those places were usually deserted by players if not for Boss hunting.

One major reason why Zhou Tian chose this location for setting up the spatial teleportation array was that, usually, only a group of specific people would go there. Besides them, no one else would visit the place. What Zhou Tian needed to do now was simply get rid of the players who entered this territory and then lead his own Beastman army to directly annex the Bone Demon force.

With this thought in mind, Zhou Tian naturally initiated his plan at that moment.

For Zhou Tian, a monster force that couldn’t even maintain its King Level status was beyond his means to annex by himself. But sneaking into the depths of their territory? That posed no problem whatsoever.

So, avoiding the patrolling Bone Demons, Zhou Tian easily sneaked into the deepest part of their territory.

"This place is great!" After reaching the bottom layer of the Bone Demon Territory, Zhou Tian surveyed the spacious and sparsely populated environment and couldn’t help but express his admiration.

As soon as Zhou Tian made his appearance, he naturally drew the attention of other beings.

The sight of Zhou Tian, a Beastman, and especially a Behemoth, within the territory of the Undead Clan’s Bone Demons was exceptionally bizarre. Not just for the players, even the Bone Demons were shocked at Zhou Tian’s sudden appearance.

Then, regaining their composure, the Bone Demons didn’t make any substantial moves, but the players immediately reacted.

"A mutant BOSS!" This was the sole thought in the minds of the players upon seeing Zhou Tian. As the notion arose, a large number of players who had spotted Zhou Tian charged at him without a second thought.

What does a BOSS signify?

A BOSS means vast Experience and top-tier Equipment; it represents the chance that, with enough luck, dropping the right item could turn a loser into a Rich and Handsome individual.

Thus, according to the habits of the players, they might forego lesser monsters, but a BOSS was always their prime target. Unless a BOSS encountered by the players was overpoweringly stronger than them, it had no chance of survival. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

Typically, players tended to operate within certain areas, and monsters wouldn’t venture into the territories of other creatures. Hence, encounters with BOSSes rarely resulted in the players facing an unbeatable opponent.

And because, historically, players were victorious eight or nine times out of ten when confronting a monster BOSS, their initial reaction upon encountering one was often to attack excitedly, rather than flee in fear.
