Chapter 1195: Spoiled By The Universe
Kingsley remained in place for about half an hour. He didn’t speak, he didn’t blink, and not even a single muscle seemed to twitch. Anthony, Lucian, and Aura Nova noticed this and decided to remain far away.
The next moment, a golden burst of energy erupted from Kingsley’s body for a moment. After a few minutes, his eyes finally flickered open. He sat there for a couple of seconds as though adjusting to whatever state of existence he had just been pushed into.
Kingsley rose to his feet. He stood taller at the moment, his eyes brighter, his hair almost no different from the sun itself. His muscles were thicker as veins snaked across his hands, his average face becoming the epitome of handsome.
He was not the same person he once was.
With a thought from him, his body was immediately enveloped in Martial Rhythm. His eyes flickered in surprise for a moment as he immediately understood that the Universe had imparted him with knowledge, which automatically increased his control and proficiency over the Martial Rhythm.
A smile couldn’t help but appear on his lips. This was simply an all-round improvement. If before he could destroy a Constellation with a punch, Kingsley felt that at full strength, if he lifted the Limitations like he did in his battle against Aura Nova, he would be able to destroy an entire Solar System with a single attack.
Anthony, Lucian, and Aura Nova floated forward and landed near the guy. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
"Congratulations, Kingsley," Anthony congratulated him with a smile on his face. After all, his plan had worked, even better than he had expected.
"I can’t seem to sense his Bloodline Grade. It seems he got a Supreme Grade," Aura Nova stated as she stared at him from head to toe.
"Hmm... I think so too," Lucian added. He also couldn’t sense Kingsley’s Bloodline Grade, but he knew that people of the same Grade could simply mask their own Bloodline Grade if they didn’t want it to be sensed, making it a bit difficult to guess which Grade they possessed.
Anthony shook his head as he replied, "You both are wrong. The Universe directly upgraded Kingsley’s Bloodline to the Perfect Grade," his tone flat.
"WHAT????" Both Lucian and Aura Nova were left stunned as they couldn’t believe what they had just heard.
After a few seconds, they took a deep breath and shook their heads. This was the Universe after all; it contained uncountable numbers of Upper Galaxies and Lower Galaxies within it. Surely, such a thing was no different from a walk in the park for it.
If before they were jealous of Aaaninja being spoiled rotten, then Kingsley was definitely the one being spoiled rotten here.
Kingsley’s golden eyes and body, which were covered in Martial Rhythm, shifted to Anthony. Without wasting a single picosecond, he moved his fist, rocketing it toward Anthony as he wanted to test how far his strength had come against the person he recognized as the very best.
But the next moment, Kingsley felt his perception spin, and the next femtosecond he found himself lying flat on the ground as his golden eyes met Anthony’s right foot on his chest while the man stared down at him with his sky-blue eyes.
"You’ve definitely grown stronger, both physically and in your control over the Martial Rhythm," Anthony spoke in a flat tone as he gazed down on Kingsley, "but unfortunately, it’s still not enough against me."
With that, he put a bit of force into his foot that was on Kingsley’s chest, and with a boom, Kingsley tore downward, his body ripping through planetary layers as he streaked toward the Planet’s Inner Core.
Seeing the scene, Lucian and Aura Nova shook their heads. They had seen someone acquire the same Bloodline Grade as Anthony, yet still lose with the exact same ease they all always lost when it came to Anthony.
’Does the Bloodline Grade even make a difference at this point?’ Lucian mused to himself.
With a booming force, Kingsley shot into the air from below. The ground burst apart as he rose toward the sky. He floated there for a moment before landing on his feet.
"Thank you for the help," Kingsley thanked Anthony with a smile on his face.
"Anytime," Anthony replied with a nod of his head.
"At least unlike us, you don’t have to look for ways to upgrade your Bloodline to the Perfect Grade," Lucian spoke. "Who even knows how long that would take us?"
Although he knew it would be hard, he also understood that he had some hope with his system, which should hasten the timeline.
And as for Aura Nova, upgrading her Bloodline through her Omniedit Command was also another path for her. It just depended on which path she found first.
Anthony turned to Aura Nova and spoke, "Let’s upgrade yours to the Supreme Grade, then we are done."
Aura Nova nodded her head as she prepared for the pain she had been told to brace herself for. Anthony simply took out a colorless potion from his system inventory that seemed no different from water.
Aura Nova stared at it and used her Code Replication Command on it, yet she found nothing. She could only shake her head, drink it in one gulp, and lower herself to the ground in a seated position.
The transformation began again. Her screams filled the air as there was simply no way she could anticipate or prepare for this level of pain. The agony seemed to seep into every fiber of her existence, transcending flesh, bone, and even thought itself. Even with her immense willpower, she found herself trembling uncontrollably as the Bloodline reconstruction proceeded with merciless efficiency.
Soon, the process was done as she had now been pushed to the Supreme Bloodline Grade.
Everyone received the full benefits Anthony got at any particular Bloodline Grade, aside from the fact that all their children would possess the same Bloodline Grade as them, as that was completely random and left up to their own luck.
Anthony gazed at Lucian, Aura Nova, and Kingsley, then nodded. He was done with the Bloodline matter, and there was nothing else to do.
The barren planet fell into a comfortable silence as the four stood there. Each of them had obtained something invaluable during this meeting, and each understood just how much stronger they had become compared to their former selves. Even so, they all knew that the path ahead remained unimaginably long.
All that remained was to meet again in a month and begin the Ascension.
