Chapter 1193: Greater Laws
The moment those words left Aura Nova’s mouth, the transformation began in earnest.
Her body rose toward the sky as though her ascension had begun. Her blue hair, which matched her eyes, immediately began to change colour as each strand now seemed to possess a singular colour on the colour spectrum, whether existing or not.
Aura Nova felt the shift immediately. She felt her mind expand, her soul increase, and her senses stretch. She heard words she couldn’t seem to make out at the moment. She felt all-powerful. She felt like the Creator. She felt like the Ender. She felt as though she were the Centre Of All Things. She was... Existence.
Aura Nova immediately suppressed every thought that filled her mind at this moment. She had something else to focus on; anything else was merely a distraction. Her mind instantly shifted to the Bloodline Knowledge Anthony had given her, her connection to Existence confirming its authenticity. Vast streams of information seemed to flow through her consciousness, yet she ignored all of them.
Her white eyes focused on her Bloodline. She could see the lower purity behind it. And without wasting any time, she simply directed her thoughts and Mana toward it as she required nothing more than her thoughts to upgrade her Bloodline.
Aura Nova felt the change in real time. Her body seemed to unravel into threads of various colours and vanish as though they had stepped into some invisible plane. The next moment, the threads returned from wherever they had vanished, each one weaving around the others as Aura Nova’s form and body returned. She floated for a moment, her eyes closed, as she remained in her Root Access Mode.
The next moment, Aura Nova opened her white eyes. In her current state, she felt no different, which was understandable as this was her ultimate state. Her white eyes shifted to her Bloodline Rank.
And it had moved from the Low Grade to the High Grade.
A smile couldn’t help but appear on her lips. Although it might have looked easy, she knew that such a process required a tremendous Mana cost that she had to draw from the Galaxy itself, as she could never hope to possess such an amount of Mana personally.
Since she had stepped into the next Grade with ease, Aura Nova aimed to move to the Supreme Grade Bloodline.
She immediately controlled a ridiculous amount of Mana from the Acarnis Galaxy and channeled it into her body as she commenced the process once more with nothing but a thought.
Her body shook this time... her Bloodline seemed to have hit a ceiling... no, something was holding her Bloodline back from upgrading. Aura Nova remained calm and tried to force her way through whatever was restraining it. Her consciousness pressed forward relentlessly, her will carrying enough force to rewrite minor Laws. Yet despite all of that, the invisible barrier before her refused to move even the slightest bit.
The next moment, Aura Nova felt something slam into her. Not physically or psychologically... but ethereally.
Aura Nova’s hand rose as she touched her nose. She gazed at her hand, and streaming down her nostril was her own blood.
In her Root Access Mode, she had been injured by the Unknown.
Aura Nova’s mind flickered to Anthony’s advice about not being greedy. She stayed silent for a moment as the blood vanished together with the injury, all with a single thought. She immediately decided to stop trying to push her Bloodline Grade any further. But she still had to understand what was holding her back, just in case there was a next time.
As the question surfaced within her mind, an answer came with it.
Greater Laws Of Existence and Reality. frёeωebɳovel.com
Aura Nova floated calmly. Although her Omniedit Commands allowed her to perform many ridiculous feats, it seemed that the Greater Laws Of Existence were not so easily broken. They were not walls that could simply be shattered through brute force. They existed as the very framework upon which reality itself stood, and attempting to violate them carried consequences even for someone in the Root Access Mode.
And with the answer came a solution.
’Authority... Concepts,’ she thought to herself as her Root Access Mode fed her information that upgrading the Omniedit Commands into either of the two could allow her to completely ignore the Laws Of Existence and Reality.
Having obtained that information, Aura Nova decided to exit the Root Access Mode, as she no longer needed it for anything else. Her body floated downward, her feet touching the earth as her multicoloured hair strands returned to sky-blue. Her white eyes also returned to their normal colour. frёewebηovel.cѳm
The moment she left the Root Access Mode, a titanic force immediately erupted from her body as though her body, soul, and blood had recognized that they had stepped into something greater. The planet itself cracked and was on the verge of exploding, but a mysterious force from Anthony simply halted the destruction in place. Across the barren world, countless canyons deepened, mountains split apart, and the atmosphere trembled under the pressure of her mere presence.
Aura Nova stood in a daze for a moment, her sky-blue eyes shining as she took in the change. To Aura Nova, it felt as though she had opened her eyes to the world for the very first time.
’Is this the boost that comes with just the High Grade?’ she thought to herself in silence.
The difference was simply absurd. Every cell within her body felt more alive. Her thoughts flowed faster, her senses were sharper, and even her connection to Mana felt incomparably clearer than before. It was as though an invisible limitation she had never noticed had suddenly been removed.
Anthony, Lucian, and Kingsley appeared before Aura Nova in a blur.
"Congratulations, Aura Nova," Anthony spoke. "You truly do not know what you have just done," he stated with a shake of his head.
Aura Nova had accomplished something not even Klaus and Amara could have done. After all, if it had truly been that easy, Amara wouldn’t have searched through countless Galaxies looking for a way to help Vega during her own Bloodline Awakening.
And indeed, as Anthony had said, Aura Nova didn’t truly understand how ridiculous what she had done was.
"I can perfectly sense her Bloodline Grade," Lucian spoke as he stared at Aura Nova.
"And I can’t sense yours," Aura Nova replied.
Anthony shook his head as he spoke. "Lower Grades can’t sense higher Grades," he explained calmly.
"I see," Aura Nova stated as she continued to marvel at the change. She couldn’t help but wonder how much more powerful she could become if she acquired the Supreme Grade.
Although she had failed to acquire the Supreme Bloodline Grade herself, it didn’t bother Aura Nova. At this moment, a goal had formed within her mind: upgrading the Omniedit Commands into an Authority or a Concept.
But she had no idea what those were. She didn’t even know where to begin.
Only if Aura Nova knew how difficult her goal truly was. But at least, with her increased talent, she would have a much easier time with her comprehension and understanding of Authorities and Concepts when she finally learned what they were. For now, however, that journey remained far beyond her reach.
