Now everyone was somewhat confused.
It wasn’t about the fact that Su could train in some more dangerous mana conditions, that was understandable. Doing so would advance her all mana resistance skill which would make her much better at defending everyone who was standing behind her. Not to mention prepare her for when she was heading in to the more dangerous areas like the place they had just been.
Gil didn’t confuse anyone by putting the future child that would be born first. Although slightly surprised by the fact that he wanted to help Alma get the nutrition and care she needed for that better, it was still not that shocking that Gil would specifically be asking Remey and Alice for that assistance.
He wanted to make sure his first child was born happy, healthy, and safe before he tried to become a figure larger and more prominent in the grand future of more than just Genesis and the world.
They all looked at Remey carefully, even Ignus was somewhat trying to look at her but also avoid everyone else.
"One of my younger siblings bought a shop to open as his own. Another is getting married to her first love. And Ignus and I will be making our relationship open to everyone to know. We might want to handle our own matters of family first."
Remey had never said it bluntly like this. Ignus never had shown a clear uncertainty either. He has been rough and shown some change from how he used to act. Mostly it came from the way that he had changed due to the dragons being accepted within Genesis and the lengths he had gone to look at the whole dragon race rather than just parts.
Unlike the other royal dragons, he focused a lot more on the whole rather than just his fire dragon people. Because of this the others were seen less and less while they were always moving and working. Ignus was often easily found and seen with other leaders of different races.
But openly saying he would take a wife at all? No one expected that.
He had children, but they were because of bonds with villages or duty due to being a royal dragon, not for bonds or care in terms of his own emotions. Therefore, it was hard to expect that he might have actually made that step with Remey. Let alone that they were not necessarily the same race at the start or even the similar age that might be expected.
Then again, age was behind them. Remey could live for much longer and she certainly gained power enough to beat Ignus down if she so desired. Even as a fire dominator royal dragon with different battle experience and strengths, he was not able to keep up with how Remey had grown and the fact that she could also use alchemy to entirely change the course of any battle she was in now.
"Stop looking at me like that. I have my own desires too, you know. How could I let everyone else have their own families and dreams while I sit in my alchemy lab doing nothing. "Then how about we all prepare, it might take more time, but we can prepare. We have the best healer, best alchemist, and best person to train anyone. If we build this together we will achieve some of our goals before we have to look at the unknown more." Walker made sure to make a clear point for everything before moving on.
The others were still trying to keep their eyes focused on Remey and Ignus, Midnight and Onyx still looking back and forth trying to figure out how they had missed the two making such a big step. The others at least accepted it already.
"I will go with Ignus to plant the fire dungeon seed and we will prepare a fire mana gathering rune formation for it. Su is carrying the weight so she has to come with me. But everyone else should focus on what they need to do. And Alice... I want to speak to you too." Walker left slightly red faced and unsure of how he would manage his own goals in this too.
While they had their own personal beliefs and goals, something was to be said for the current population and changes in terms of family within Genesis.
People did not speak about it, but every single race had illnesses that they were prone too, especially for babies and mothers. This wasn’t forgetting the elderly as well.
They were all weaker to certain illnesses because of changes in their bodies depending on what they were doing and what they needed to do for their families or their own bodies in age. It was just part of life and would always be a fact for as long as anyone would care to think about.
Yet, Genesis had come to be and many had begun to develop solutions to illnesses. Whether it was herbal treatments from alchemists and herbalists or it was generally better living conditions. Theories about changes in mana and the overall mixing of races also played a part in this too.
The key point in all of this was that the population overall was much healthier. Children that might have perished as babies were not dying and instead thriving. Mothers that would have struggled were now bright and healthy. The elderly were living their golden years without the same pains that they might have had.
Times had changed and this was somewhat overlooked since people were just enjoying life. They were pursuing their goals so fervently that they were their dreams and the advancements within Genesis. So much happened every day let alone weeks or months that they didn’t see the small changes.
The demon race and vampire race were two that were seeing these things clearly though.
The demons had been oppressed by their own people and were now growing safely and with freedoms. Their desire to branch out and show their prowess and potential led to them becoming a race that stood for safety and equality more so than anyone expected. Not only did many join the cathedral, but many also started paths to become guards lately!
The vampire race was different. They had become historians that could follow and keep history for Genesis. They did not wish the losses to their history because of wars and being imprisoned by their own to become the same thing here in Genesis or for any race. They wished to share knowledge, learn from mistakes, and ensure that everyone has the chance to grow.
They had joined the archives and records halls while also making massive additions to the safety of everyone attempting new research.
This wasn’t even to mention that both races had welcomed newborns which was something many of their older members had not even believed possible in their remaining lifetimes. It meant that those being born for their races would be realized in a time of brilliant potential causing them to be driven much more than other races in a way.
These positive aspects of Genesis were touching and brilliant. They allowed a chance for greatness.
"You just need to bury the orb in the ground?" Ignus still didn’t like the pressure from the seed floating around Su. He didn’t like feeling like his fire mana was being challenged or pressured. It wasn’t natural for him to feel this way, but the uncomfortable feeling proved well beyond a doubt that something he had never been able to comprehend was right in front of him.
"That’s the plan. I will use my space mana to mix in with this territory. Then we will have someone make some fire mana gathering rune formations and let it eat up fire mana slowly but surely. It might take a long time to open a dungeon, but we can watch the progress. We might even be able to see the moment that a dungeon forms and how it comes to life."
Walker started to explain the theory Su started with while he worked. His control of manas clearly being better than it had before when it came to space mana and other manas interacting with it.
He also touched on how a dungeon was like a newborn elemental spirit. How it would grow and move with the flow of nature and the world. This started to become more in depths shocking Ignus before he suddenly noticed the pressure shift and suddenly cause the fire mana in the area to be pulled toward them.
