Chapter 313: Chapter 313: The Throne of the Void

Levi stood in the Void.

Beneath his feet were the remnants of a planet he had just pieced back together—or rather, rearranged according to his will.

Fragments of worlds that had once nurtured civilizations now floated like building blocks, forming the rough outline of a colossal fortress.

He raised his right hand.

Crimson-gold and silver-white light poured from his palm, transforming into countless delicate threads that seeped into the atomic structure of every rock and every piece of metal.

One power transcended conceptual definitions of existence.

The other solidified and governed the source of those definitions.

As the two forces intertwined, the fortress gradually took shape.

Its outer layer consisted of defensive walls forged from the crust of a dead world, three kilometers thick and engraved with countless alchemical runes.

Inside was a spherical habitat fifty kilometers in diameter, where gravity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure were all maintained by Levi’s domain of laws.

At the very center floated the modified Eye of the Void.

Its crimson-gold and silver-white pupils rotated slowly.

Levi could feel that the eye had become an extension of his own will.

Through it, he could see every corner of the Multiverse.

Countless parallel worlds drifted through the Void like bubbles. Timelines intertwined and flowed across dimensions.

He could even see farther beyond.

The Wall.

Beyond the Wall lay the Beyond Realm.

Levi withdrew his gaze and turned toward his companions.

Thor gripped Stormbreaker, his expression complicated.

The Eye of Agamotto on Strange’s forehead pulsed continuously, as though trying to comprehend everything that had just occurred.

Tony’s helmet retracted. He opened his mouth, hesitated for several seconds, then finally managed:

"You just moved the entire Solar System over here, didn’t you?"

"More or less."

Levi’s tone was calm.

Yet everyone could sense it.

He was different now.

Not because of power.

Because of existence itself.

It was like standing beside a god. Even if that god did nothing, the pressure naturally radiated from their very being.

Clark stood at the front, his silver-white body still glowing.

He was the only person present who could barely keep pace with Levi.

Yet even he could feel an indescribable sense of distance.

Levi noticed.

Taking a deep breath, he deliberately restrained the fluctuations of the laws surrounding him.

The suffocating pressure instantly vanished.

Walking toward the group, he revealed the familiar smile they all knew.

"Don’t look at me like that. I’m still me. I’ve just picked up a few new toys."

Tony rolled his eyes.

"You call that a toy?"

Levi shrugged.

"What else would I call it?"

Wanda approached from behind, carrying Adam in her arms.

Her face was pale, but her gaze remained resolute.

"Levi... Adam..."

Her voice trembled slightly.

Levi turned and looked at the child.

Adam’s dark eyes reflected his father’s figure.

Levi reached out and gently stroked his son’s head.

"I know."

His voice was soft.

"I know everything."

He took Adam from Wanda’s arms.

The child felt light.

Yet Levi could sense an unusual energy emanating from the tiny body.

Not Chaos Magic.

Not any of Levi’s own powers.

It was Nothingness.

Pure, primordial Nothingness.

Closing his eyes, Levi sank his consciousness deep into Adam’s body.

There, near the child’s heart, he found a tiny black dot.

It rotated slowly.

With every rotation, it absorbed surrounding energy and transformed it into something Levi couldn’t identify.

No.

Not absorption.

Theft.

Adam’s very existence was like a conduit connected to the Beyond Realm.

That black dot was the valve.

Every breath.

Every heartbeat.

Was stealing energy from beyond the Wall.

The Beyond Apostle had called him the Child of the Void.

Because while Adam carried the bloodline of Levi and Wanda...

He also possessed the fundamental essence of the Beyond Realm itself.

In other words, if Adam simply grew up normally, he would naturally reach the Multiversal level.

The realization reminded Levi of Franklin Richards, the mutant whose potential had attracted Galactus’s attention from the moment he was born.

Levi opened his eyes and looked at Wanda.

Her face was pale, her eyes filled with worry.

"It’s fine."

His voice remained gentle.

"He’s just a little special."

Tony couldn’t help himself.

"Special? You call this special?"

He pointed at Adam.

"The kid almost swallowed that entire altar a minute ago!"

Levi ignored him.

He raised his right hand.

A golden rune appeared in his palm.

A seal forged from Alchemical Law and transcendent conceptual power.

He gently pressed it against Adam’s forehead.

The rune sank into the child’s skin and disappeared.

Adam’s breathing gradually stabilized.

The fluctuations of Nothingness were suppressed to the lowest possible level.

Wanda finally relaxed.

"So he’s safe now?"

"For now."

Levi paused.

"But he’ll grow up eventually. When that happens, this seal won’t be enough to contain him."

"What do we do then?"

Wanda’s voice trembled.

Levi remained silent for several seconds.

"We’ll deal with it when the time comes."

He returned Adam to her and walked toward the center of the Void Fortress.

The Eye of the Void floated silently there, its crimson-gold and silver-white pupils turning endlessly like a tireless sentinel.

Levi stopped beneath it and raised his hand once more.

This time, only silver-white light remained.

The power of transcendence flowed into the Eye of the Void.

Its pupil contracted violently, adapting to an entirely new perspective.

Several seconds later, Levi’s consciousness synchronized completely with the Eye.

He saw the entire Multiverse.

Countless parallel worlds floated through the Void like bubbles.

Each possessed its own timeline.

Its own destiny.

The Marvel Universe.

The DC Universe.

And even farther beyond—worlds he had never visited before.

Then he saw the Wall.

An invisible barrier separating the Multiverse from the Beyond Realm.

On the other side lay a space beyond his understanding.

No time.

No matter.

None of the concepts familiar to him.

Only pure existence.

Or perhaps—

Pure transcendence.

Levi’s gaze pierced the Wall, attempting to see what lay beyond.

Then he saw a pair of eyes.

Enormous.

Cold.

Filled with malice.

Those eyes were looking at him as well.

Levi’s entire body shook.

An unprecedented pressure descended upon him, as though an irresistible force had fixed him firmly in its sights.

The Ivory King.

Ruler of the Beyond Gods.

The true master of the Multiverse.

Levi clenched his teeth and forcibly severed his connection with the Eye of the Void.

He staggered backward several steps, breathing heavily.

Cold sweat rolled down his forehead.

Thor was the first to rush over.

"What happened?"

Levi waved a hand.

"Nothing serious."

"I was just noticed."

Tony’s expression darkened.

"By who?"

Levi looked into the darkness beyond the fortress.

"The one beyond the Wall."

He paused.

"The leader of the Beyond Gods."

"The Ivory King."

Silence fell.

Clark tightened his fists.

"Will he come?"

"I don’t know."

Levi answered.

"But he’s definitely watching us."

"Like we’re lab rats in an experiment."

The Eye of Agamotto pulsed even more intensely.

"What do we do then?" Strange asked.

Levi turned and looked at everyone present.

Thor.

Clark.

Tony.

Strange.

And Wanda, holding Adam.

He took a deep breath.

"We build a defensive line."

His voice was calm.

Yet every word carried unquestionable authority.

"From this moment forward, this Void Fortress will be the Multiverse’s first line of defense."

He raised his right hand.

Five points of light appeared in his palm.

The lights flew toward each of them and merged into their chests.

Tony looked down at the golden emblem now glowing on his chest and felt a warm current flowing through his body.

"What is this?"

"A Law Beacon."

Levi replied.

"It allows you to survive and fight within the Void."

"And it allows me to locate you at any time."

He paused.

"Starting today, you are the first members of the Multiversal Guardians."

Thor raised Stormbreaker. freewёbnoνel.com

"Then what’s our mission?"

Levi looked into the endless darkness beyond the fortress.

"Hold this line."

"Protect the Multiverse."

"Protect our home."

Then his gaze fell upon Adam in Wanda’s arms.

The child stared back with wide dark eyes reflecting his father’s image.

Levi reached out and gently patted his son’s head.

"And protect the future."

Far away, beyond the Wall, those eyes were still watching.
