Chapter 357: Chapter 202: Speeding Across the World, Soybean Motorcycle

Amidst the crowd’s cheers and blessings, Su Changliang led Xiaoqian by the hand into the bridal chamber.

As the groom, Su Changliang still had to come out and toast the guests.

Xiaoqian, wearing her red bridal veil, sat demurely on the bed. She would have to wait there until her husband came to lift it for her.

All the Su Family relatives were present. Su Changliang first toasted his brother-in-law’s family; he knew very well that he wouldn’t be where he was today without his brother-in-law’s support.

Finally, Su Changliang went table by table, toasting everyone.

Slightly weary and a little drunk, Su Changliang was finally able to return to their room.

Outside, several Su Family relatives were pressed against the windowsills, peeking inside through the cracks in the door and windows, until Su Changliang’s mother shooed them away.

"Everyone, don’t crowd around here. Give the newlyweds some private space!" As expected, his mother understood what her son was thinking.

The relatives all laughed good-naturedly before dispersing.

By the time everything had quieted down, the sky was gradually growing dark.

Su Changliang excitedly lifted Xiaoqian’s red veil. He swallowed hard and said, "Xiaoqian, you look absolutely beautiful today."

Xiaoqian lowered her head and whispered, "Still calling me Xiaoqian?"

"My lady!" Su Changliang said, very formally.

"Mhm!" Xiaoqian replied happily.

Xiaoqian’s eyes sparkled as she said, "Dearest, now that we’re married, I still haven’t seen your true form."

Her "true form" referred to his atavistic appearance.

Su Changliang and Xiaoqian were both from the Half-demon Race, so naturally, they didn’t need to be shy about such things.

Su Changliang chuckled. "My lady, wait until we’re in bed, and I’ll let you see it then. It’s not convenient right now; I might rip my clothes."

Xiaoqian nodded and said playfully, "Then I’ll let you see my true form. You’re not allowed to be scared!"

"Of course I wouldn’t be scared of my lady," Su Changliang said calmly.

Xiaoqian sprouted two fluffy, red fox ears, which twitched nimbly from side to side. She giggled, "Aren’t they cute?"

Su Changliang had already seen Xiaoqian’s fox ears the first time they met.

Su Changliang pinched one of the fox ears, gently rubbing it between his thumb and forefinger. "Extremely cute!" he said.

"That’s not all," the Little Fox said with a mischievous smile.

The moment Xiaoqian finished speaking, fox fur sprouted on her fair, rosy cheeks. Her mouth slowly sharpened into a snout, and her eyes changed from black to red. The fox fur was very smooth, red at the tips and white at the roots.

Xiaoqian let out a series of yips, a true fox’s call. The sound seemed to pierce right through to his soul, making Su Changliang’s heart itch with desire.

The aura emanating from Xiaoqian made Su Changliang’s hands unable to resist moving toward her.

Su Changliang kept telling himself inwardly, ’Don’t be rash! It’s not time yet!’

Hearing the fox’s soft cries, the already slightly drunk Su Changliang felt the world begin to spin. He suddenly felt a wave of drowsiness, and his eyelids grew uncontrollably heavy.

In a daze, Su Changliang collapsed onto Xiaoqian’s shoulder.

Xiaoqian caught the unconscious Su Changliang and reverted to her normal appearance.

Xiaoqian gently laid Su Changliang down on the bed.

A short while later, Su Changliang came to.

Su Changliang shook his head and sat up, muttering to himself, "I think I just had an erotic dream. In the dream, Xiaoqian and I were having a baby together."

Xiaoqian brought over a cup of hot tea and offered it to Su Changliang. "Dearest, drink some tea to clear your head."

Having woken up, Su Changliang did indeed feel a bit thirsty. He took the tea and drank it down.

Xiaoqian took the empty cup, placed it on the table, and giggled. "Dearest, were you dreaming about me? And did you dream of some... embarrassing things?"

Su Changliang’s face reddened. "My lady, how did you know? Don’t tell me I was talking in my sleep?"

Xiaoqian leaned in close to Su Changliang and gave him a gentle kiss. "Dearest, you only know that I’m skilled with Illusion, but you don’t know that I also have the Illusion ability. My true form is just showing my fox ears. Only when I use my Illusion Talent Skill do I reveal my fox face."

Su Changliang asked, confused, "Then why did you use Illusion on me just now?"

Xiaoqian stood up and spun around, her red wedding dress swaying enchantingly. She touched a finger to her cherry-like lips and said, "If I didn’t let you experience my Illusion skill for yourself, how would you believe what I’m about to say?"

Su Changliang said, "We’re husband and wife. Of course I would believe anything you say."

Xiaoqian sat down next to Su Changliang again, her head lowered. She shyly tapped her index fingers together and said, "Well... the Right Deputy Magistrate... he was affected by my Illusion..."

Only then did Su Changliang learn from Xiaoqian that on that night, the drunken Right Deputy Magistrate had violated the Little Fox in a dream, not the Little Fox in reality.

Even so, the Little Fox couldn’t hold her head high. After all, she had manipulated the old man’s dream, considering it a way to repay him for raising her.

This ethically questionable act made Xiaoqian feel that her behavior was utterly shameful, plunging her into a long period of emotional turmoil.

At first, the Little Fox had held on to a sliver of hope regarding the Right Deputy Magistrate, viewing him as her adoptive father. She never revealed the truth, and even after following Lu Yuan and Su Liyan to Taiping City, Xiaoqian continued to let the misunderstanding stand.

As for why she never explained it to everyone, Xiaoqian felt there was simply no need. Explaining would only make things more complicated and force her to relive the pain.

The reason Su Changliang was able to realize it was a dream was because Xiaoqian hadn’t used her Illusion Talent Skill to its full potential.

It was only when Su Changliang said he didn’t mind her past that Xiaoqian agreed to be with him. She had decided to tell him everything on their wedding night, praying for her husband’s forgiveness.
