Chapter 1751: Chapter 1298: Team Assembly
"Can we add two more people?"
The girls frolicking on the bed turned their heads and saw the blonde girl Felix and the most beautiful woman under the starry sky, Dedarose, walk into the room.
Although Sonia and the others had left yesterday, Felix and Dedarose didn’t leave right away. Siflin didn’t think much of it; perhaps they wanted to continue their vacation in Kaimon City.
But now it seems, could it be that they, like Freyja, are hopelessly romantic?
"I’m very glad to find like-minded companions," Dedarose said with a smile. "After all, it’s a far-fetched idea for just the two of us Holy Sanctuary Mages to save the observatory."
"Do you also like Ash?" Siflin covered Freyja’s mouth and asked first.
"Rather than saying I like him, I’d say I admire him," Dedarose sat gracefully on a soft chair. "I am willing to pay any price to bring him back."
Siflin faintly guessed something, "Is it because he is the touch of The Gods of Four Pillars?"
"Yes, but not just that," Dedarose said, "Even though he and I are both touches, there is a hierarchy among touches. To me, he is the lord I follow. Only by following him can I witness him ignite this world."
She paused, "Moreover, perhaps now he has become...more than just a touch."
Siflin looked at Felix, "Are you like her? Is it also for religious reasons?"
"Probably about half," Felix replied ambiguously.
"The other half?"
Felix hesitated for a moment, thinking about those photos in the gallery and her joy in them; a gentle smile appeared on her face as she tried to sound casual, "Probably for reasons similar to Miss Freyja’s."
Siflin was stunned, while Freyja had already jumped out of bed, leapt over, and hugged Felix, exclaiming joyfully, "Partner!"
"Could you at least put some clothes on first!"
After forcibly putting a shirt on Meiwa, Siflin looked at the two Holy Sanctuary Mages, thought for a moment, and extended her hand, "Welcome to our unplanned, unpaid, inexperienced rookie team."
"Also the only team in this world willing to save Ash," Felix shook hands with her and immediately asked, "So what should we do next?"
Freyja looked at Siflin, who pondered for a moment, "Although we don’t think we have the strength to save Ash, given the power that can erase all traces of him, we at least have to find out where he is, and then plan a way to save him."
Dedarose nodded, "Then, where exactly is Ash? It’s unlikely he’s on earth."
"Could he be in the Seven Heavens?" Freyja asked, "Locked up by evil Divine Lords!"
"Or maybe in the newly emerged Void Realm Seventh Layer," Felix speculated, "Perhaps only a place as incredible as the Void Realm Seventh Layer can completely erase someone from the world without leaving a trace."
"Void Realm Seventh Layer..." Siflin murmured, "Void Realm Seventh Layer? Seventh Layer?"
Felix blinked, "Do you also think it’s in the Void Realm Seventh Layer?"
"She’s actually trying to figure out how to gently remind you dummies," suddenly, a mocking female voice sounded.
Everyone turned around and saw the window opened at some point, with a pink-haired, twin-tailed elf lady lazily sitting on the windowsill. Even the warm summer morning light couldn’t wash off the arrogance etched in her face.
"Vishi?" Felix was taken aback, "Weren’t you—"
"The Sea of Knowledge, Time Continent, Distant Realm... oh, now it’s Dream Stairs, followed by Ruby Mountain, Seven Heavens. If you count on your fingers, isn’t there only five layers?" Vishi said, "But why is the newly appeared level of Void Realm called the Void Realm Seventh Layer?"
Dedarose immediately realized, "It means there’s a layer of Void Realm, like Ash, that has disappeared."
"That’s where Ash is; he has already named it on the last page of his diary," Vishi said word by word, "Level Six of Hell."
"For Ash, entering Level Six of Hell is dangerous, so he documented his feelings for us in the diary before entering it again, so that even if he loses his memory, he can find us through the diary... But because he recorded these things in the diary, he ended up forgetting even the diary."
She walked over and said, "As long as we find Level Six of Hell, we can find Ash."
The crowd exchanged glances, and Siflin asked, "Lady Vishi, will you join us in saving Ash?"
"Yes," Vishi raised her chin, showing a dangerous glint in her eyes, "Not welcome?"
Siflin almost laughed, "Welcome, but didn’t you say yesterday you’d rather die than save Ash?"
"Don’t twist my words, I just said I didn’t like him," Vishi’s face remained composed, "I went back and thought about it, and realized we should save him. As for why... Felix, Dedarose, haven’t you noticed that our journey over the past half year has been unusually difficult?"
Felix was taken aback, then nodded thoughtfully, "Now that you mention it..."
"Why did the Dazzling Star send angels of law against us? Why did the four Divine Lords ambush us in the Kingdom of Senluo?" Vishi said, "Even if Sonia, Lissdia, Weiser, and I are the geniuses of this era, we don’t warrant such attention. There’s only one reason: they’re not targeting us, but Ash! Ash holds the power even the Supreme Star covets!"
