Abby’s POV
"I’m sorry, Blade, but I’m really okay. The girls rescued me. As for who kidnapped me. Well.. It was Keres, the goddess of evil, demons and every dark creature out there."
Blade huffs before he lets Matt take control once again. I have missed those deep forest green orbs, the smile, and the scent of pine and fresh rain. Matt embraces me in his muscular arms, sniffing my hair, relaxing under my touch. I look around the room of people, my family, that has just been expanded by two fresh faces. I lock eyes with the unfamiliar girl. She blushes under my stare, but I smile.
"Hi. We have not been introduced yet, but thank you for saving me. I’m Abby, by the way." I say with a laugh. The girl sends us a small wave.
"Hi Luna Abby, my name is Sami and I’m the mate of Alpha Benjamin. I am actually a hybrid - vampire and werewolf." The girl tries to hide behind her mate, but Benjamin pulls her in front of him and puts his arms around her.
"Omg, that is so cool! May I ask what you wolf is called? Mine is Galaxy, and she is a bundle of excitement right now."
"Umm. Her name is Polaris, and she says we are a water/ice elemental. Whatever that means." Sami says with unsure eyes.
"Ooh, that name is sooo cute! My wolf is Vega. I’m a tribrid between demon, witch and wolf and we are a fire elemental, she says." Ellie interrupts with glee before she realises she just blurted her heritage, and hides behind Jason, who in turn pulls her to his side and kisses her temple. I can’t help but laugh at her energy.
Benjamin stares at Ellie and shakes his head in confusion.
"You’re a demon, witch and wolf tribird? How?" He asks, eyes narrow and mouth a thin line. I clear my throat after mind-linking Ellie quickly to get her permission to tell the story, so everyone is up to date, and we can get on with things. She gives a slight nod, leaning into Jason for support and comfort.
"Ellie’s original parents were killed by my birthmother, who didn’t know they had made an enchantment on the woman’s womb. My mother gave birth to Ellie and her twin, who is evil btw, and by that she transferred some of her witch powers to Ellie and said twin. When Jason turned to her, she became a tribird. And I might add, she is my sister and you will accept her Alpha Benjamin, at least as long as you are in MY territory. Ellie has never been evil, or let her demon side be prominent, other than to use the powers for good. So I ask you now, do we have a problem, Alpha?" Benjamin looks from my murderous eyes, to everyone else in the room, who also gives the ’touch her and we will have a problem’ look. Then Sami takes his head in her hands.
"Baby, she is my soul sister, a star wolf and just fought demons with us all. I trust her. She has a pure heart." Sami says softly. Benjamin looks at Jason and Ellie for a moment, before a small smile graces his lips.
"If my Luna says you are okay, then you are okay. I am sorry for judging you so quickly, but in my defense, we are raised to mistrust anyone with a trace of demon in them. Please accept my apology Luna and Alpha." He gives a slight bow in Ellie and Jason’s direction, who nods with a smile. The atmosphere lessens and I look at Morgan, who looks like she’d rather get swallowed by the ground than speak in the current company. Brandon nudges her and takes her hand to his lips.
"Uh.. I’m Morgan, a hybrid between witch and wolf and my wolf’s name is Antares. We are a wind elemental." She rambles and hides her face in Brandon’s chest.
As everyone is now introduced, Matt demands to be told what had happened when they couldn’t get through the door. I am about to tell the guys everything when a small bundle of energy hits me and I hear one of my favorite voices.
"AAAAAAH, ABBY! YOU ARE AWAKE. I HAVE MISSED YOOOOOOU!" A high-pitched child’s voice rings out through the room and makes everyone jump. I am now engulfed in Willow. All of Willow. She is crying, clearly distraught, I have been "away". Jax saunters in after Willow. free𝑤ebnovel.com
"My Queen, it’s good to see you awake at last." Jax bows slightly and pries Willow off me, holding the crying child in his arms.
Right then the doctor, no one had remembered to call with me waking up and all the confusion about who was who and why, enters the room.
"Oh, no, no, no! Out everyone. The Queen needs rest, solids and therapy. She has been out for three weeks, for goodness’ sake. OUT!" The doctor orders everyone to leave at once, seeing all my visitors. I pout. I don’t want them to leave, especially not the girls. Everyone clears, not without protests though, especially Willow, who had just come to see me. Matt, who the doctor knows better than to make leave, sits in the chair while the doc takes my vitals.
"Its good to have you back Luna Queen." The doc says with a smile.
"But with you coma, we need to keep you, until you can eat properly and start physiotherapy."
Galaxy snorts in my mind.
’We need nothing of the sorts. We are a descendant of the goddesses of this realm. I have healed our muscles. But we need food, proper food, before we can do anything slightly like workout.’ Galaxy says, and I relay what she said.
"Well, then we need to get some food in your system. Also, we need to monitor you until you can eat full meals throughout the day, AND get the different tubes and aids removed." The Doc says sternly.
This is going to be boring out of my mind, but I know not to argue with the Doc. I nod obediently, and she smiles before walking out, leaving me with Matt.
