Chapter 104: Chapter 104 The Wedding

The Third Person’s POV

Bells are ringing over the Silver Moon pack. Wedding bells. All the pack, allies and friends are invited to the wedding. Matt and Abby are finally tying the knot, and everyone is excited about the prospect of a happy evening celebrating love and union.

Outside of the packhouse, everyone is coming together to get the last details finished before the ceremony. Shouts of directions, cheers of greeting, and laughter echo through the grounds. Helena and Sally are in work mode, making sure everything is taken care of. Their mates groaning when they get to feel the whip of the girls.

Inside the packhouse, they gathered all the guys in Jason’s bedroom to get ready. They talk and laugh while drinking a beer. Matt is excited for today. He is finally going to call Abby his wife, which he has been doing since he marked her, anyway.

"I still can’t believe all of you eloped for your nuptials? I was looking forward to the parties, man." Matt complains to his friends. All of them laugh.

"Have you gone blind or something, Matt? Do you not see the utter chaos out there right now?" Jason asks while pointing outside the window, where you can hear Helena and Sally the loudest. He shutters at the thought of this being him and Ellie.

All the others eloped at some point during the last year to get their nuptials done. All of them took a mine vacation, going away and had some mate time.

Laurel, Sami, Jasmin and Adriana all had kids during the last year as well. Laurel gave birth to two little girls, who apparently are the mates of Ellie’s twins. Sami had a little girl as well, but she was different. Her aura screams power, but instead of a dormant wolf, she has a dormant fox spirit inside her. And her forehead has a birthmark of a crescent moon. Sami and Benjamin were really nervous to present her to their pack and their family and friends, but everyone loves her. She is a little hurricane of laughter and tricks,

Jasmin and Adriana gave birth on the same day, Jasmin to three little boys, which resulted in her threatening to castrate Jonathan if he ever put his dick inside of her again. And Adriana had a little girl.

All in all, everyone was as happy as can be. But no one had forgotten the threat out there, biding their time.

"Come on guys, it’s time. We need to give this groom away to his bride! A toast for love and family." Kaiden says, while raising the beer. The guys then move down to the grounds where a beautiful flower pavilion is raised for the occasion.

In Abby and Matt’s bedroom, the girls are gathered. They are also talking while getting ready, having the kids with them, and drinking a glass of champagne.

All the kids are doing great together, not leaving anyone outside of their games. The elder ones taking care of the younger ones. The girls all look at the twelve kids in the room, laughing at the sight.

"Who would have thought almost all of us would be mothers by now? And some of them are mates to each other. Destiny is weird." At the mention of destiny, Abby sobers a bit. She clears her throat and tells the others about the prophecy about her children. She knows Matt has done the same with the guys.

"We will protect them as our own, Abby. You know that. Besides, my little girl is your boy’s future mate. I will never let harm to come to either of them. We are stronger now." Morgan says, putting her arm around her friend. Abby smiles faintly in her gorgeous wedding dress.

"Thanks, girls. I just. I needed to get it off my chest, ya know?" All of them nod as they move in for a group hug.

After the hug, they help Abby down. At the entrance door stands Henrik beside King Erik, who smiles so big at the sight of her. Erik elbows Henrik while taking Morgan’s hand.

He and Elise have been on multiple visits after the battle, becoming close with everyone. Morgan loves having them around, and was surprised to find out Meeri didn’t die that day. She returned to the Fae realm, helping strengthen their barriers.

"Come on, kiddoes, let’s get this show on the road." Erik booms while leading the bridesmaids out the door, followed by all the kids. They are all flower kids, while the twins are ring bearers.

Henrik stretches his arm to Abby.

"You look so beautiful today, honey." Henrik says with tears in his eyes.

"And I have a surprise for you and Matt." He continues, as the door to the outside opens. There stands her mother, with Ornata and Greyson at her side.

Abby breaks down seeing the people she missed the most this day.

"How?" She asks through her tears. Then a breeze from outside carries a soft voice in the wind.

"Only this once, child. But you deserve it." Selene.

The parents follow Abby down to her waiting mate. A gasp runs through the crowd at the sight of the former Alpha and Luna. Matt’s eyes widen to saucers when he spots his parents and his sisters cry even more. They get to say goodbye now.

After the ceremony, Abby and Matt take some time to talk to Mallory, Ornata and Greyson. They have little time, so they want to make the most of it. The wedding photographer snaps as many photos of them as possible.

The day and night are beautiful as everyone is gathered together in the name of love. Abby and Matt have the time of their life.

No worries and no threats.

Just them and their family.

The twins are getting older by the minute. They are having the time of their lives as they search for the boundaries of what someone of rank can and cannot do. Not that, that will stop them.

Amber is the calm and collected of the two of them. Always keeping a level head, even in the sight of danger. Which has been plenty.

Maze, however, is chaotic, hotheaded and short-tempered. He loved fiercely and protects his family at all costs.

From the time of their birth, they have always known they were different. They had powers from the get go, and grown up with training and meditation. Maybe that’s why they have such a difference in temperaments? Maze always hated meditating, cheating on every corner, while Amber loved it. She would spend hours every day meditating or reading about how to obtain inner peace and control.

Maze loved the outdoors, tracking and hunting. Training combat in both human and wolf form. By the age of twelve, he shifted seamlessly, controlling the body of his wolf without a hitch.

As they got older, the twins enjoyed to spent more time with their friends. But Amber retracted a bit from them. She loved her extended family to a default, but she could not talk to a boy without one of the males in her family came and flexed their muscles. Now people seems scare to approach her.

She complained of this to her mother, who laughed at her predicament.

"Darling, why haven’t you done the same? Scare of the girls. Harming no one, of course. Every time one of your brothers talks to a girl, send her walking the other way. Maybe that’ll teach them some respect for boundaries." Abby suggests. As Amber walks away, Abby finds the guys.

"The next one who interferes with MY daughter talking to a boy, will have spar with me and my wolf for the next month at morning training. Are we clear, gentlemen?" Abby says, after turning off the game. She is standing with hands on her hips, staring down at the guys sitting in there.

Everyone nods, even Matt, who knows they crossed the line this time. Amber must have talked to her. They would just have to be more discreet from now on.

As all the kids became teenagers, the boys started flirting with girls, getting interested in the other sex. This was a hard time for the girls, who didn’t know why, but got irrationally annoyed when a certain boy flirted with another girl, or a girl got too close to one of the boys. Especially Mira Rose and the twins Kara and Lori had to walk out of the room more than once when Maze and the twins Ezra and Joshua put on the charms and it wasn’t towards them. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

As Maze, Amber and Mira Rose’s eighteen birthday came closer, Abby and Matt talked. They needed to sit their children down. First of all, they needed to tell the twins of the prophecy and they needed to talk to Amber about the dragons. They could turn up at any time now with only goddess knows what demands.

They decided to wait until the morning of their birthday, and they would tell them everything.
