Chapter 1208: Chapter 1208: Kidnapping and Revenge (Part 3)
"I know, don’t panic, I’ve called the police to get people! Ariel, protect yourself! Ryan has also been taken!" Arlo Seys’s usually calm voice now carried urgency and anxiety.
Screech——-
Ariel Morris trembled, panicked, and accidentally stepped on the gas, causing the car to crash into the car in front.
The loud sound transmitted through the phone, and Arlo Seys’s anxious and frantic voice echoed: "Ariel! What happened to you!"
Ariel Morris’s head hit the steering wheel, feeling a bit dizzy. She brushed aside her slightly disheveled hair from her cheek and spoke with a hoarse, frightened voice: "I’m fine, Arlo... Iris and Ryan were taken away... Arlo, I’ve shared my location with you, I’m currently chasing the car that took Iris."
Before Arlo Seys could speak to dissuade her, Ariel Morris hung up the phone.
The driver of the car she hit stopped her to discuss compensation. With her mind solely on the children, Ariel Morris shouted at the driver: "Go to the police for compensation and say it was someone from the Seys Family who hit you. Discuss the compensation with them; they’ll make sure you get every cent transferred to your account!"
Ariel Morris anxiously left these words and sped off.
Ariel Morris followed the car all the way to the outskirts of City C, her heart filled with extreme panic.
Unbeknownst to her, a taxi was trailing behind.
A strange call came in, and Ariel Morris swiped to answer.
"Ariel Morris, you’re quite quick!"
A gloating voice with a cold laugh came through, and Ariel Morris’s hand holding the phone felt ice cold, "Laura Pinley! What do you want!!"
The one who had kidnapped her children was actually Laura Pinley! Absolutely insane!!
"What do you want! As long as you don’t harm the children, I’ll give you anything! Laura Pinley, you and Damien Morris are probably just short of money; I’ll give you as much as you want! Just don’t harm my children! You know I can afford it!"
Laura Pinley laughed softly for a while, then a cold voice came, "Ariel Morris, get out of the car! I want you to chase my car barefoot! If you’re too slow, I’ll sell Iris, believe it or not! So, whether you can get your child back is up to you!"
Laura Pinley hung up the phone. Ariel Morris, thinking of their madness, realized that they could have even taken her life back then, so begging them to spare her children now was pointless. Inhumane people—no point talking about favors!
Ariel Morris dared not hesitate; she pushed open the car door and started chasing the car.
The country road was uneven, and Ariel Morris, wearing high heels, twisted her ankle several times, watching as the car got farther away. Determined, Ariel bit her lip, took off her shoes, and chased Laura Pinley’s car barefoot.
The car in front seemed to be teasing her, driving a distance and then slowing down to wait for her.
Ariel Morris ran desperately after the car, fearing that if she lost it, her children would indeed be sold by that insane Laura Pinley.
On the rural path, there were stones and debris. Ariel Morris, barefoot, her face pale from pain, dared not stop for a second.
Her bare feet were pierced by countless shards of glass and sharp little stones, yet she endured the pain, relentless in her pursuit of the car.
Finally, when she was breathless and exhausted, the car stopped in front of an abandoned factory.
Ariel Morris bit her lip and coldly stared at the car in front.
"Mom... Mom..." Iris Seys was held in the arms of a tall man, struggling and crying as she saw Ariel Morris not far behind.
"Iris, don’t be afraid." Ariel Morris coldly looked at Laura Pinley, "Let go of my child, and you can have anything you want! I promise not to hold you accountable!"
