Chapter 1206: Chapter 1206: Kidnapping and Revenge [1]
"I apologize for not informing you. Now, I’ve safely brought her back to the Seys Family to admit my mistake."
Upon hearing this, Enzo Seys, the elder of the Seys Family, smiled warmly, quickly changing his initially reproachful tone. "Why not stay a bit longer? It’s rare for you to have a holiday; enjoy it for a few more days."
"Exactly, spend more time together while traveling, it will help build your relationship. We’re not rushing you back," Lily Cox chimed in with a smile.
Veralina Quinn smiled at Aunt Forest and said, "Make a grand lunch today, let Steven stay and eat at the Seys Family before he leaves. It’s been a long time since he visited."
"Alright," Steven Cooper graciously agreed.
The lunch was delightful, and Steven Cooper was polite and articulate in front of the Seys elders, enhancing their favorable impression of him even more.
"No wonder he’s from the Foreign Ministry. If Steven ever takes his father’s position, he’ll surely surpass him!" Enzo Seys looked at his potential future son-in-law with a smile, very satisfied from beginning to end.
Steven Cooper smiled politely and composedly.
Lily Cox’s voice rang out, "I’ve arranged with Madam Cooper to discuss your engagement. Do you two have any opinions on this?" Lily looked at Nicole and Steven Cooper.
Nicole lowered her eyes and hadn’t replied yet; Steven glanced at her fleetingly, feeling a bit disappointed but maintained a gentle smile, speaking warmly, "Aunt and Uncle, about the engagement, let’s wait a bit..."
"Okay." A soft voice interrupted Steven’s unfinished words.
Steven turned around in surprise and joy, looking at the person sitting beside him, incredulously asking in a deep voice, "Nicole, what did you say... Aunt was talking about our engagement, how could you agree..."
"Brother Cooper, don’t you want this engagement?" Nicole turned back, her clear eyes meeting Steven’s.
"No! How could I not want it? I want it more than anything, but you..." Steven’s words were left unfinished as he gazed at Nicole’s face, his heart skipped a beat.
Nicole smiled gently, "I said ’okay’. You asked me to give you a chance, to prove that you will love me and treat me well for a lifetime. I believe you, so I’m giving you a chance, and also giving myself a chance for happiness. Do you still want this chance, Brother Cooper? If you don’t, we can put the engagement on hold for now."
"I want it!" Steven nodded enthusiastically, without hesitation, his face unable to hide his silly smile.
Dominic Seys happily looked at Nicole and Steven, "The engagement is settled, I can finally set my mind at ease. Steven, Nicole is the apple of our eye. If she marries you, you must treat her well for Grandpa’s sake."
Steven nodded earnestly and replied, "Grandpa, I understand. Marrying Nicole is the greatest blessing in my life, and I will cherish and love Nicole with all my heart!"
Over a meal, the engagement was set, and the Seys Family living room was filled with laughter.
After the meal, Steven Cooper stood up to bid farewell to the Seys Family. Nicole, noticing that Ariel and her two nieces were not present all day, inquired and found out that Ariel had taken the two kids on a date with Daisy.
It had been a while since Nicole had seen Daisy and Ariel, so she drove her car and left the Seys Family with Steven Cooper.
Steven returned to the Foreign Ministry to work, while Nicole parted ways with him to meet Ariel and Daisy.

Ariel Morris and Daisy Grant brought three kids to the amusement park. There were many people there, and Daisy informed Ariel she was heading to the restroom. Ryan also needed to go, so Daisy handed Finley to Ariel and took Ryan to the restroom.
"Mommy, Finley wants an ice cream cone." Iris Seys tugged on Ariel Morris’s clothes with a sweet, soft voice.
