Chapter 1210: Chapter 1210 Never Returned

Among the giants, an older one, after a brief moment of thought, shouted in Ye Liuyun’s direction, "Are you from the Central Continent?"

Ye Liuyun was surprised to hear this. These giants seemed to be aware of the Central Continent.

"Yes! How do you know I come from the Central Continent?" Ye Liuyun asked.

And at this moment, Ye Liuyun, with the tiger, had already entered the hunter’s ambush circle.

Ye Liuyun stopped and waved his hands at the giants.

Upon seeing this, the giant asked Ye Liuyun, "Did you tame this tiger? Are you sure it won’t bite people?"

Ye Liuyun imprinted the Slaving Seal onto the tiger’s Divine Soul and then stored it inside his Spatial World. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

For these giants, Ye Liuyun and his group didn’t pose any threat at all. So, they stopped being fearful and began to show themselves, slowly gathering around Ye Liuyun and his companions.

Most of the giants were quite curious about Ye Liuyun and his group.

Only the elderly giant said to Ye Liuyun, "You truly come from the Central Continent. Not only do you resemble them in stature, but you also have the ability to store things away!"

Ye Liuyun estimated that he was referring to the act of storing the tiger away in the Spatial World.

"Have you seen other humans from the Central Continent before?" Ye Liuyun asked curiously.

"Yeah! The village chief said that our village has seen a total of six people from there. I’ve only met two of them. They said they came to hunt down evil dragons and then never returned. Before, they used to come one by one, but this time, there are three of you!" the giant explained to Ye Liuyun.

"It seems that not everyone who comes in here has visited their village," Ye Liuyun thought to himself.

"My name is Tai Yong. What’s your name? Why don’t you come and visit our village? The people in our village are very welcoming!"

The giant was indeed very welcoming, and the other giants echoed his sentiments, inviting Ye Liuyun to visit.

"I’m Ye Liuyun. Thank you for the invitation. I’d be happy to visit your village," Ye Liuyun replied politely.

"Sure! We can provide you with food, and in return, you can help us improve our tools," Tai Yong said, gesturing towards his bow and arrows.

"Great, it’s a deal!" Ye Liuyun readily agreed.

Tai Yong and his companions immediately ceased hunting and led Ye Liuyun and the others back to their village.

As the giants began to walk back, Ye Liuyun and his group had to fly in the air to keep up with them.

The other giants, who had never seen humans of such size before, were incredibly curious about them, especially since they could fly. They discussed and observed Ye Liuyun and his group throughout the journey.

Ye Liuyun and his group were being observed and examined by the giants throughout the journey.

The giants’ village consisted of enormous stone houses surrounded by makeshift wooden fences, giving it a very rudimentary appearance.

After entering the village, Ye Liuyun and his group became even more cautious and refrained from touching the ground, fearing that they might accidentally get stepped on by the approaching giants!

In the end, it was Tai Yong who, in a more considerate manner, held Ye Liuyun and his group in his palm, ensuring their safety.

Tai Yong led Ye Liuyun and the others straight to the residence of the village chief. According to him, the village chief had hosted six similar humans before.

The village chief welcomed Ye Liuyun and the others warmly when he saw them.

However, he was quite old, and even standing up was a bit of a challenge for him.

What surprised Ye Liuyun was that this village chief actually had a realm.

Although he had only cultivated the genuine energy realm, he must have practiced it.

"You are examining my realm, aren’t you?" the village chief asked Ye Liuyun proactively.

"I didn’t mean to pry into your privacy, I was just curious!" Ye Liuyun replied apologetically.

"What privacy is there to talk about? Everyone in the village knows about it. It was taught to us by the little people who came here before. But most of our people here don’t have the patience, so no one really practices it," the village chief explained.

"But we’re working on changing that now. Many of the children have started practicing it. You see, with cultivation, our lifespan increases significantly, and we also gain some extra strength.

The village chief explained to Ye Liuyun.

Upon understanding this, Ye Liuyun proceeded to inquire about the martial practitioners who had visited the village before.

"You people were all quite friendly, and polite, and taught us many things. But you all mentioned something about going to eliminate an evil dragon, and then you never returned," the village chief explained to Ye Liuyun.

He also took out a stone tablet and showed it to Ye Liuyun. On the tablet was engraved the image of the evil dragon.

"You don’t know what an evil dragon looks like, do you? Well, there it is, the one drawn on top!"

Ye Liuyun took a glance and noticed that the dragon’s head of this evil dragon wasn’t much different from a regular Draconis, except it had a pair of enormous wings, longer limbs resembling arms and legs, and a slightly shorter body compared to a true Draconis.

The illustration depicted the evil dragon breathing something from its mouth. There was a circle drawn on the dragon’s chest and abdomen.

"The evil dragon can breathe fire and poison smoke. The circular mark on its chest and abdomen is the virtuoso, the thing you are looking for," added the village chief.

"The evil dragon is real? Have you seen it? Where is it now?" Ye Liuyun asked the village chief.

"Of course! Everyone in the village has seen it! It often comes out to hunt. Sometimes it captures large wild beasts and other times it captures our villagers!" The village chief confirmed.

"Does this evil dragon have a realm?" Ye Liuyun asked.

"We can’t tell for sure. What we do know is that the dragon is enormous. It can capture one of us with just one claw! Based on your size, you’re definitely much smaller than one of its fingers!"

The village chief sighed after speaking, "We dare not even think about hunting it down. You are too small in size, and facing that evil dragon would be even more disadvantageous for you! Even with realms, your attack power is still limited!"

Ye Liuyun also realized that if what the village chief said was true, he would indeed be at a disadvantage.

"Those people who came here like me, none of them have returned? Are they dead or..." Ye Liuyun inquired about the fates of the others as well.

The village chief shook his head and said to Ye Liuyun, "We dare not go near the dragon’s lair, so we have no way of knowing whether they are alive or dead. All I know is that none of them have returned."

"Where is that evil dragon?" Ye Liuyun asked.

"The tallest peak you see when you venture out is where the dragon often roams. However, it’s not just the dragon there. It’s also inhabited by groups of feral beast!" the village chief informed Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun activated his Golden Phantom Eyes and looked outwards. Indeed, in the distance, he spotted the tallest peak, its summit shrouded in clouds. The mountain was too far away for him to discern any details about what lay atop it.

"Do you have any way to deal with that dragon?" The village chief asked in return.
