Chapter 635: Chapter 635: The Generous Spirit Race

"Congratulations, sir, on obtaining the control of the Star Gate and becoming the master of Spirit Blue Star," said Number 6, handing Xu Yi a tablet.

"Master?" Xu Yi stroked his chin.

"According to the rules left by that civilization, yes. In fact, this kind of thing is common; rulers of powerful civilizations often have their own private planets, just like humans have private islands." Number 6 answered truthfully.

The same?

Can this really be the same?

Xu Yi felt his imagination was truly limited by poverty.

Yet even so, Xu Yi didn’t plan to monopolize this planet.

He opened the tablet and after glancing at it, held his breath.

Because on it was a list, each item tempting.

These are the knowledge and technology of the Spirit Race.

"Can all of these be taught to us?" Xu Yi asked excitedly.

There were at least thousands in there.

"Twenty kinds, sir, you can choose freely. This is the deal between the Spirit Race and you. For your assistance, it’s thirty kinds. So you can choose fifty in total." Number 6 told Xu Yi the answer.

Fifty?

Xu Yi stroked his chin, thinking the basics are definitely essential; with the Spirit Race’s foundational subjects, one can understand and learn their advanced science.

So foundational physics, chemistry, materials science, mathematics, are all must-haves.

Xu Yi glanced at Number 6 then asked, "I don’t have to decide instantly, do I?"

"No, anytime is fine," Number 6 nodded.

Number 6 then said, "The Spirit Race is generous and sincere with their allies. If humans master these technologies, the Spirit Race will teach even more."

"Is it only technology? Are there goods?" Xu Yi felt some things were better to buy ready-made, like the Star Chart and tents.

"Ling Qi has prepared some supplies for you; that’s the most she could secure. However, those materials are not here; they’re at an Awakened’s base. Your 499 subordinates are also there."

Xu Yi smiled happily, knowing they had supplies.

Not directly trading might be because the Spirit Race is also tense and scarce.

After all, their situation isn’t better than humans’; they’ve escaped, inherently carrying little.

So Xu Yi understood Ling Qi’s actions well.

"Do we need to go to the Awakened’s base now?" Number 6 asked.

"Shouldn’t one Sub-Star Gate be left behind?" Xu Yi counter-asked.

"Yes, leaving one creates a teleportation connection with other Sub-Star Gates."

So Xu Yi loaded seven Sub-Star Gates onto his battleship.

He named this battleship Pangu.

Instead of heading to the base, Xu Yi flew the Pangu to pick up Lu Ke and the others.

Though the Pangu had very advanced intelligent navigation systems, Xu Yi still wanted Number 6 to teach him manual flying.

Manual flying offers enjoyment.

Intelligent navigation is just for convenience.

Two hours later, Xu Yi’s Pangu appeared over Lu Ke and the group.

Now their Star Chart coordinates transmitted and received signals via Xu Yi’s Pangu.

Previously, Number 6 could remotely lift their Star Chart restrictions, but not now; he’d need to do it in person, to remove limits and change text.

From now, Xu Yi could use his communication satellite, Swan, to transmit messages.

The name Swan was naturally chosen by Xu Yi himself.

A single Swan could serve all of humanity’s communications.

The chance of 3 billion people online simultaneously isn’t high.

Additionally, Xu Yi prepared one for himself, ensuring his communication signals were safe from interception.

It added more security.

The last one was kept as a spare.

Two hours later, Xu Yi’s Pangu appeared above Lu Ke’s camp.

"It must be Xu Yi’s battleship; so sci-fi, so cool!" Wang Jin shouted excitedly, pointing at the Pangu in the sky.

"Xu Yi must have gained control of the Star Gate," Qin Fan said excitedly, watching the battleship slowly descend.

"Certainly, it’s been four hours; it should be done," Lu Ke watched the battleship with some delight. Xu Yi really did it, completing the challenge ahead of schedule, winning the use of Spirit Blue Star for humanity.

A minute later, Xu Yi and Number 6 flew down from the sky.

"Xu Yi, you’re amazing; you really finished early, love you, my parents can come soon," Wang Jin said, running to hug Xu Yi tightly.

Xu Yi smiled slightly; if he wanted to dodge, Wang Jin couldn’t hold him.

Anyway, there was no follow-cam now.

After a moment, Wang Jin let Xu Yi go.

Before letting go, she quickly kissed Xu Yi’s cheek.

The absence of the follow-cam made Wang Jin much bolder.

Plus, the excitement meant others wouldn’t misunderstand.

With Wang Jin leading, others came to embrace Xu Yi.

"Let me introduce you; this is Number 6, my subordinate," Xu Yi introduced Number 6, though these people had seen him.

Lu Ke and the rest naturally didn’t need introductions; Number 6 knew them well.

"Number 6, are you going to wear battle armor all the time?" Wang Jin curiously looked at Number 6, eager to know his appearance.

Number 6 paused, then removed his helmet.

"It’s not always needed, but high-level Spirit Race hopes we always wear it," Number 6 explained, then his body’s battle armor dispersed, revealing his original form.

In appearance, he wasn’t much different from the high-level Spirit Race. Only his skin color was much deeper, lacking Ling Qi and Spirit God’s pale, somewhat transparent look.

"Still handsome, just a bit darker. Like Yondu’s color; cool," Wang Jin remarked, as the Spirit Race’s face fit their aesthetic, not to mention those comic-like eyes.

"Thank you," Number 6 said with a smile.

He felt Wang Jin’s words were sincere, not flattery.

Others showed no contempt in their gazes.

"Pack up; we’re going back to Base Alpha," Xu Yi clapped, redirecting everyone’s attention.

Everyone began packing, and Number 6 donned his battle armor again.

He was used to wearing battle armor, just like humans are used to wearing clothes, from young to old.

No one asked about the high-level Spirit Race issue.

For Number 6, that topic wasn’t pleasant.

"Xu Yi, this battleship’s space is vast; how many can it carry?" Wang Jin asked curiously aboard the ship.

"Two thousand, with normal supply transport, two thousand people," Number 6 answered for Xu Yi, since he wasn’t yet familiar with the Pangu.
