Chapter 111: Invitation From the Pavilion Masters

The scarred instructor gestured for the remaining forty-seven students to follow another guide toward the stone staircase leading to the third trial area. The teenagers quickly formed a line and began shuffling away from the dirt ring.

While, the white-haired princess from the Bririth Kingdom paused near the exit path. She turned her head and locked her piercing red eyes directly on Solomon for a brief moment.

She pivoted on her boots to join the departing crowd, glancing back over her shoulder one final time before completely disappearing from sight.

Solomon watched the students leave and rested the massive executioner’s sword against his shoulder. He tapped his fingers against the pristine steel hilt and looked at the scarred instructor. "What exactly am I supposed to do now?"

Multiple loud booms suddenly erupted across the sprawling courtyard. Ten figures leaped directly from the highest mountain peaks and plummeted toward the dirt ring.

They struck the ground with immense physical force, shattering the stone tiles and kicking up a massive cloud of dust around Solomon.

The dust cleared to reveal the absolute pinnacle martial artists of the Azure Dragon Sect. Six elderly men with long white beards stood in a loose half-circle. A middle-aged man possessing sharp facial features stood beside them.

An elderly woman leaning on a carved wooden staff and a young woman holding a jade fan completed the visible group. A tenth figure remained entirely concealed beneath a dark, featureless cloak, seemingly hiding their identity and physical build completely.

Dozens of pavilion leaders, elder instructors, and senior instructors quickly descended from the mid-level observation decks. They rushed into the courtyard to investigate the commotion, eager to witness the confrontation with the silver-haired novice.

The ten pavilion masters instantly unleashed their martial auras.

An invisible, crushing force violently pushed down on the entire training ground. The nearby sect workers immediately collapsed to their knees and gasped desperately for breath.

The senior instructors bowed their heads deeply, their legs visibly shaking as they struggled to keep from collapsing under the overwhelming physical load.

Solomon kept his boots firmly planted in the dirt. He gripped the hilt of Eden’s Penance and stood completely upright, entirely unaffected by the crushing aura. His mind and body had already endured thousands of brutal deaths against a divine being, rendering this display of dominance completely ineffective.

He tilted his head and looked at the ten masters. "What exactly is going on here? Are you all gathering around just to give me a lecture about my weapon?"

The surrounding instructors widened their eyes to their absolute limits. Elder Liang dropped his wooden clipboard into the dirt. A senior instructor clenched his jaw and frantically gestured for the boy to bow his head. Speaking so casually to the highest authorities of the sect without using a single honorific equaled complete insubordination.

The pavilion leaders exchanged completely wide-eyed glances. They entirely failed to comprehend how a first-year student could remain standing casually while enduring the concentrated auras of ten grandmasters.

[BloodKnight: To stand unbothered before ten masters... your foundation is truly terrifying, Solomon.]

[User12: Solo Man has absolutely zero respect for authority.]

[GoonLord: STOP PROVOKING THE FINAL BOSSES!]

Master Wu stepped forward from the half-circle of grandmasters. He carefully inspected the silver-haired boy and the massive executioner’s sword.

"Did you have a master who taught you swordsmanship?" Master Wu asked. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

Solomon rested his pristine weapon against his shoulder. "Yes, I had a master."

"I would like to take you in as my personal disciple," Master Wu announced, projecting his voice across the training ground. "I will refine your foundation and push your swordsmanship to entirely new heights."

Shen stepped forward immediately. "Do not limit yourself to a single blade. I can personally teach you the halberd arts and maximize your undeniable physical potential."

The elderly woman leaning on her carved wooden staff joined the conversation. "Your archery demonstration showed flawless spatial awareness. The Bow Pavilion would gladly welcome you as a primary student."

Suddenly, the rest of the pavilion masters began offering their own personal tutelage. The sheer volume of elite cultivators fighting over a first-year novice completely shocked the surrounding instructors and the observing students.

[LazyCat: all the final bosses are literally begging to teach him.]

[Xander Man: Solo Man is the main character right now.]

[BloodKnight: True talent always commands respect from the highest authorities.]

[1Fizzy: the other students are so jealous.]

Solomon tapped his fingers against his steel hilt and glanced at the scarred instructor standing nearby.

"That instructor literally just told me I am forbidden from taking multiple classes at once," Solomon pointed out. "He claimed attempting to learn different weapons would guarantee my failure."

Master Wu glanced at the lower-ranked instructor. The scarred man quickly bowed his head and retreated a few steps backward into the dirt.

"That rule applies to standard disciples who lack a proper foundation," Master Wu explained. "You clearly possess the capacity to learn multiple disciplines. You must simply choose a primary pavilion to begin your official training today."

Solomon pondered his options while looking at the gathered masters. If I spread myself too thin right now, I might waste time trying to upgrade my basic skills. It makes significantly more sense to finish my required lessons in what I am already best at. I can easily secure the academy stars using my swordsmanship first, and then I will focus on mastering the other weapons later.

Before giving his official answer, Solomon looked directly at Master Wu. "Madam Alfoy mentioned we need to earn exactly ten stars from these practical classes to avoid expulsion from the academy. How exactly do I get those stars?"

The middle-aged master stepped forward to clarify the rules. "You earn stars by completing specialized tasks assigned by us. The progression system remains entirely flexible. You can complete ten unique tasks given by a single pavilion master to earn all ten stars, or you can complete one specific task from each of the ten different pavilion masters. The variety of challenges changes constantly, making every single assignment completely unique."

Solomon nodded in understanding.
