Leo was surprised,it seemed that anything he did had a possibility of unlocking some quest or the other.
"The experience points are a welcome..."
Leo smiled as he played around with the stone knife.
"Now I need a blade and a hoe..."
"These two will help me complete the second quest..."
Leo thought as he sat back to design a perfect stone hoe.
For the handle,he picked a four foot straight branch,with one end thicker than the other end. He had to use the knife to carve the hoe’s handle.
This took him an hour,and by the time he was done,it was almost noon.
"Bet the rest will have to wait..."
Leo decided to take a break and head for the stream. He had run out of water the previous night.
"This small jar is of no use..."

Leo wondered whether he could be able to craft jars at the rudimentary level. All he needed was some clay,which he had ten baskets of,some creativity,which though not the artistic mind,he believed he was creative enough,and lastly,a turning wheel and a kiln. These two were the mandatory requirements, which he lacked both.

"A goat..."
At the stream,where most animals gathered,Leo discovered that amongst the animals,there were seven goats. A small flock but a flock at that.
There were six she-goats and one he-goat.
"Though that one looks aggressive,I can take it out swiftly..."
"As for the rest,I hope to loot some goat milk from them...."
Leo had his eyes on the goats,as they were the most docile compared to the small herd of deers. With his recently crafted crude stone knife,Leo waited.
He waited for the wind to blow downstream,before sneaking up to the herd of goats.
"Damn...!"
Leo mentally cursed after he realized that the she-goats had placed themselves in a certain formation that left no openings for him to reach the he-goat without them seeing him.
"Plan B it is..."
Leo waited,he was hiding behind a tree,crouched but ready to spring out in a blink. His knife was already craving for blood.
As the closest she-goat bent its head to drink from the stream,Leo dashed out,his stone knife aiming at the she-goat’s throat.
"Plunge..."
He felt it.
He felt the stone knife easily pierce through the goat’s hide.
He felt the knife brush against the goats spine.
He felt the goat pull back.
He felt the goat weaken.
"And lastly,he felt the goat die.

All this took place within mere seconds,and before the other goats could respond, Leo’s knife had found its way into the eye socket of a second goat, directly piercing through its brain and killing it in an instant.

"Meeeh....!"

The goats finally reacted.
Their panicked bleating alerted the rest of the animals of Leo’s where about,and chaos ensued as the animals escaped the stream in fear of loosing their life. freeweɓnøvel.com
As for the goats,they did not flee,rather they rallied behind the he-goat,eyes filled with range as they stared at the tiny two legged creature that had claimed the life of two of their companions.
"Five against one..."
Leo grinned as he mockingly spat.
As if they understood him,the goats reeled backwards and with a unified bleat,they charged at him.
"Damn...!"
Leo cursed as he sheathed his knife around his pants belt and dashed backward. He headed for the closest tree,and before the goats could cover the distance between them,Leo was scaling the tree trunk like a monkey would. Agile and fast.
The first to ram into the tree was the he-goat.
Unfortunately for it, its horns stack and as it struggled to flee itself,Leo was safely perched on the branches.
"Huh...!"
He sneered at the goats.
"Foolish creatures..."
Leo said as he watched the remaining she-goats ram at the tree. Though none of them got stack by their horns,he could see traces of blood on their faces.
"Just go on tiring yourself..."
Leo patiently waited on the rocking tree as the goats rammed it over and over. About an hour later,the five she-goats were exhausted and the he-goat was still stack to the tree.
"You had your fun,now it’s my turn..."
Leo said as he jumped off the tree.
