Leo happily grinned,he had already deduced that the mysterious tower was not just a structure merely for training but also a treasure trove. A treasure trove that he greatly welcomed, mostly the system issued summoning jades and the level boost cards.

Leo thought as he focused back on the still popping up system notifications.

Leo pondered on this but decided not to, though he was tempted,he had to prioritize. And also,he did not like the fact that he had to sacrifice his essence blood just to bound with the mysterious tower.

Leo stored the mysterious tower in his inventory.
"Thank you so much Hu..."
He did not forget to thank Hu. This subordinate of his willingly gifted him such a high end treasure,that if utilized well,it can play a major role in strengthening his soon to be established territory.

Hu awkwardly said as he avoided the stinky eye from the young woman.

Leo declared,and before the young man could utter a word,Leo turned and walked towards the trenches.
"We do not have all day...!"
He had adopted an authoritative tone.
"Boy,lead aunty to the hideout and stay with her till we return..."
Leo instructed the small boy.
"I hope your cooking skills are passable..."
Leo said, implying that she was the designated group cook,as he threw the young woman an intimidating look. The young woman stomped her foot bent to gather her bundle and left with the little boy as she murmured. Leo had refered to her as an aunty just to frustrate her.

Gemini’s reminder was genuine and his tone was full of fear. He had already experienced the horror of fighting the forest dire wolves,twice,and was not willingly to go through that again. If asked,he would prefer to spend his day replicating things and eating big brother’s food.

The young woman grunted at the little boy’s warning,but still followed closely. Along the way,she wondered why these two called her aunty,while everyone was young,at least she could tolerate the little boy,he was still young,but why call her aunty, while he addressed Leo as big brother and Hu,as Brother Hu.
As for Leo,she wanted nothing but to strangle him. The young lord did not just shortchange her,but had the guts of addressing her as an aunty.

Hu said as he Leo a thumps up.
"She deserves it..."
He said as the two shared a knowing look.
"Let us hurry,we need to lay this foundation before late noon..."
Leo said as the two coordinated as one.
Since he had earlier on filled the trenches with a layer of ash paste pebble mixture,all they had to do was lay the stones.
Leo grabbed a flat stone and began setting the first layer along the trench floor, pressing each one down into place. The stones did not fit perfectly,none of them did,but with each addition, the structure gained weight.
"Not bad..."
Leo said as he admired the handiwork .
"Bring some ash paste over..."
Leo called out to Hu.
Hu approached silently, carrying a fresh batch of paste.
"Here..."
Leo said, gesturing.
"Pour some of that between the gaps."
Hu knelt and pressed the ash mixture into the spaces between stones, sealing them with careful precision. The paste oozed slightly before settling, binding rock to rock.
Together, they worked,one shaping, the other sealing.
Stone by stone.
Layer by layer.
The outline of a house foundation began to rise from the earth,not yet walls, not yet shelter, but something undeniable.
Something that declared presence.
As the sun dipped slightly westward, casting long shadows across the clearing, Leo paused and looked at what they had started.
"It is not much..."
"But it is a start young lord..."
Hu encouraged.
The foundation of the house was half way complete. All that was left was filling the partionings within with stones,and pressing them as to create an even layer.
"Lunch..."
Leo retreived the food ment for him and the little boy,and the two shared it silently,each lost in their own thoughts.
"One of us will have to be left behind..."
Leo decided,as he looked at all the resources and foot stuffs scattered along the ground. It would take him forever to move all these from the clearing to the hide out,but the hideout was almost full.
"I think it is time..."
Leo decided to save himself the trouble and proceed with the establishment of the territory. With more manpower,it would help speed up the expansion and the development of the territory,and he would also find time to level up by hunting beasts within the forest.
"System...."
