He patiently hid,way up the tree. The leafy thick canopy was his cover,as he waited for his prey,a boar that he had spotted yesterday.
It had been three days since Leo woke up in this forest. How he got here,he did not recall. Actually,he had zero memories of anything before three days ago. All he knew was that his name was Leo,he was human,twelve years old and very weak.
All this he learnt from the weird screens that kept popping up in front of him. Just like the one he was currently going through just to kill the boredom as he waited for his prey to fall for his trap.

Becoming a lord will put you in a position of power and influence,with thousands of subordinates and hundreds of soldiers under your rule and command, while becoming an adventurer will grant you the freedom to roam and explore the vast world.
The choice is yours,what will it be.
"Lord or adventurer..."
This had been the question playing circles in Leo’s mind. Since his wake,he has been pondering on it,as he explored his surroundings for shelter and food.
His little exploration had led him to understand that he had woken up in a small forest clearing,with a small stream just a hundred metres from the edge of the clearing. This small stream happened to provide water for the animals around. It was at this stream that he had come across the boar.
Though there were other animals,some of them,like the deers were too big and the small ones like the rabbits were too fast.
He had followed the boar back to its lair. It resided under the root network of a massively huge tree. Leo found the tree an abnormality,as it was the same height as the rest,but it would take ten of him joining hands to cover the tree’s girth.
Also,he had discovered that the boar had piglets,twelve of them,and this had tickled his taste buds.
All he had had to eat were the fruits he picked from trees and the berries he plucked from bushes. Seeing the juicy succulent piglets had him craving for meat,and so he hatched a pan.
"Adventurer seems cool but with my current constitution,am better of being a lord,with an army to command and dozens of servants to wait on me while my subordinates adore me..."
Leo weighed both options carefully,but before he could come up with a final choice,he was interrupted by the grunting of the boar as it headed for the stream.
"Come to papa..."
Leo grinned as he casted he activated his ability, Inspect.
System Alert: You have activated Inspect..

He had an evil grin on, something that was out of place, considering his young age. His eyes were filled with some kind of dark glint that did not belong to a twelve year old.
As for the boar,it followed it’s usual path to the stream,unaware that metres ahead laid a concealed pit fall,dug by Leo,for hours, using a sharp stick.
And just as Leo had envisioned,the boar let out a shriek as it fell head first into the concealed pit.

"Squash...!"
Leo clearly picked up the squashing sound of the sharp sticks at the bottom of the pit, piercing through the boar.
And with one loud painful and sorrowful shriek,the boar breathed it last.
"Got you...!"
Leo was all smiles as he made his way down the tree.
System Alert: You have killed a level five common rank boar.
System Alert: You have received two hundred and fifty experience points.
System Alert: You have leveled up....

"Wow...!"
Leo exclaimed as he felt his body slightly change. He could not tell how but he felt that he was a little bit stronger than seconds ago and that he could now run for minutes without tiring fast.
"How do I get it out of the pit...?"
Leo pondered as he stood at the top of the pit, staring at his bloody handiwork.
System Alert: Would you like to loot the carcass?
"Yes..."
Leo was quick on his response,using his second ability for the first time.
System Alert: You have activated loot...

Leo smiled as he watched the boar turn into a bloody mist that quickly scattered.

"This ability is overrated..."
To the Leo,who had zero skills on skinning,or a knife for that matter,loot was an overrated ability that he gladly welcomed.
"At least I will have some meat for dinner tonight..."
Leo smiled as he covered up the pit fall and headed for the board lair,where twelve juicy succulent piglets awaited his arrival.
Yesterday,he had casted his inspection ability and learnt that each was a level one common rank piglet,with a hundred points in health,and if his deductions was right,the twelve would grant him six hundred experience points on killing them.
He had arrived at this after receiving fifty percent of the level five boar health Points as experience points.
Almost an hour later,Leo stood in the board lair,as he watched the cute squealing piglets.
"How can I kill such cute creatures....!"
Leo murmured,but just as this thought left his mouth,his right hand plunged the sharpened tree branch into one of the piglets head. Killing it in one blow.
