Felix and Krisha didn’t linger long in the Awakening Plaza. After they had a brief conversation, especially when Krisha asked for Felix’s guidance about Sparkle’s diet, they left.
To their surprise, there was already a crowd waiting for them.
The guards had to call five others more to help prevent encircling the gate and Felix’s companion.
As soon as they appeared, the crowd exploded into thunderous cheers.
"Congratulations for your second summoning!"
"Chambers City here! We are so proud of you for making history in the First Obelisk!
"We are so proud of you!"
"Congratulations to both of you. Looking forward to your future endeavors."
"Felix, can I get your signature?"
"Krisha, can we take a selfie?"
The crowd was disoriented and chaotic that made Felix felt loss. It was even surprising that most of them were at Commander rank, causing the guards to have difficulty in suppressing them.
Felix could only smile, not knowing how to react.
Krisha said, "Just smile and wave at them. Turn a deaf ear to whatever their favor. You aren’t obliged to please them."
Krisha initiated to smile and wave at the crowd while walking towards Doctor Ella’s direction. Felix did the same, albeit less enthusiastic.
The crowd took pictures of them and the guards failed to stop them since it was intruding others’ privacy.
Thankfully, Felix and Krisha had already stored their beast pets, and Felix’s contracted weapon, to their soul space.
Once they gathered with Doctor Ella and others, the guards helped pave a path for them until they finally arrived to their van.
They then returned to Doctor Ella’s residence to discuss Felix and Krisha’s summoning.
They gathered outside of Doctor Ella’s house, where Felix and Krisha stood side by side, facing them.
Doctor Eleanor asked with sparkling eyes, "So, what did you summon Felix? We felt the fire energy inside, so it definitely came from you. The intensity is something only you should be able to achieve."
Before Felix could respond, Doctor Ella immediately asked Krisha with barely restrained tone, "How about you, Krisha? The ice energy alone threatened us. It also made you breakthrough to Commander Rank 4."
Krisha broke through two minor ranks, only one minor rank lesser than Felix. But it was already apparent, like Felix.
They had so many questions towards Felix that they almost immediately had another one following up. Felix had to calm them down, saying, "We’ll answer your question one by one. Let’s calm down first."
They glanced at each other, lost of who would be the one to question them.
Master Shen didn’t even gaze at them, keeping his eyes at Felix, and asked, "You are itching to test the new weapon you’ve summoned, right?"
Felix was surprised. He turned towards Master Shen and suddenly an idea struck him.
Master Shen is so smart! By demonstrating Ashen, it will definitely answer their question.
Seeing Felix’s expression, Master Shen immediately understood. He turned towards Doctor Ella and asked, "Is it okay to demonstrate here?"
Doctor Ella immediately nodded. "Of course."
She lied. Even when it was her personal space, the residence was still owned by the government and destroying it would be tantamount to breaching the laws that the Monarch had imposed.
However, Doctor Ella was confident that with her beast pet and even with the help of Doctor Eleanor, they could immediately restore what was destroyed before the authorities were alarmed and reported to the Monarch.
Master Shen understood her worries that was quickly buried by the excitements. He said, "I’ll try my best to contain the energy left in our exchange."
Doctor Ella was surprised. She beamed a smile and nodded.
She thought. Such a highly emotional intelligent man. I’m so jealous of Eleanor now.
Doctor Eleanor noticed the intensity of Doctor Ella’s gaze towards Master Shen and felt an inexplicable jealousy rising on her heart. She immediately took a step forward, blocking their vision.
Master Shen didn’t mind and returned his focus at Felix, but Doctor Ella noticed how she reacted and her lips curled. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
She whispered, enough for Doctor Eleanor to hear, "Look whose being jealous now. That’s your man, I just can’t help but admire him. Don’t worry."
Doctor Eleanor’s face flushed. She was extremely embarrassed that her cheeks reddened. Her mind turned blank that she failed to respond, causing Doctor Ella to giggle.
Master Shen unsheathed his sword. The sword radiated a water energy aura that was comparable to Rain.
It was a sword forged by Master Vey and the spirit was developed and nurtured by him. It was inevitable, Master Shen had manifested Sword Intent.
As soon as his sword was drew, despite not releasing his Sword Intent, Felix was overwhelmed by the sheer aura of it alone.
The sword was exuding a sword qi from Master Shen. The sword qi was sharp and sinister. Just once glance alone made Felix conclude that wounding Master Shen with his sword unsheathed was closer to impossible.
He beamed a smile. He took out Ashen from his soul space, shocking the others. Master Shen had his eyes widened.
Like others, they thought Felix summoned another sword. After all, Master Vey was a dual sword beast tamer, with each of his sword having a contradictory element—water and fire.
Since they sensed fire, they were excited, believing Felix would follow the path similar to Master Vey and surpassed him.
They didn’t expect for it to be a bow.
Nevertheless, they kept their mouth shut and simply watched.
Felix raised the bow, pulled the string, and a fire arrow manifested.
Master Shen obviously hadn’t taken a stance, as though he had not taken him seriously.
It left a bitter taste to Felix’s mouth, but he fully drew his arrow and finally released the string.
The fire arrow bolted at Master Shen, leaving behind a fiery trail path, awestriking the others.
Master Shen watched the fire arrow at a rapid speed, threatening to pierce through him.
He hadn’t made a move, not even when the fire arrow was five meters closer to him.
It move! Master Shen thought.
The fire arrow moved slightly, seemingly attempting to evade a possible parry towards it.
He had already anticipated it, he knew that the fire arrow was not ordinary.
As the fire arrow was an inch closer to his face, he didn’t move his sword.
He merely released his Sword Intent. The fire arrow immediately lost its vigor—its center of balance was broken.
It vanished without a trace, shocking Felix who was waiting for it to explode...
