I know some of the slice-of-life and world-building descriptions have been a bit lacking. You don’t have to worry about that anymore—I’ll finally be able to write more of them.
The pace was relentless before because the only way to keep readership high was to focus on action scenes. Plus, when I tried to write more detailed descriptions, some people called me a dumbass, so I had to speed things up, haha.
Because we didn’t win the readership competition, the book is going premium. So don’t worry about the pace being too fast anymore; I’ve already started slowing it down a bit over the last couple of days.
