Chapter 75: Calculating the Spoils
Tang Yin was far away from Maple Leaf City, he had found the cave of a Rank 1 Demonic Beast in a faraway forest. Tang Yin had decided to stay in the cave for a short while to sort out all of his spoils and select his next destination.
The cave was not big, Tang Yin sat down on the floor of the cave cross-legged. Xiao Fei stood before him in her large form, she shook her feathers slightly. With multiple clangs that rang out for a couple of moments, hundreds upon hundreds of storage rings dropped to the ground.
Tang Yin had told Xiao Fei to collect all of the Shan family members’ storage rings, even the storage rings of the weaklings. Tang Yin additionally brought out the 300 storage rings he had collected during the assassination phase of his plan.
There were approximately over a thousand storage rings on the floor, Xiao Fei and even Tang Yin looked at the storage rings with excitement. Xiao Fei sat down on one side of the cave, she watched Tang Yin inspect every storage ring.
Tang Yin inspected every storage ring to see their contents and the capacity of the storage ring. An hour later, Tang Yin finished this arduous task. The storage ring with the most capacity was the storage ring that originally belonged to the Shan family’s Patriarch.
Tang Yin spent the next 2 days filtering the contents of all the storage rings. He discarded all of the unnecessary items like clothes, food, jewelry, mortal weapons etc. The only things remaining were a colossal amount of Spirit Stones of various grades, a few Artifacts and some Medicinal Pills. There were also a few other miscellaneous things which had piqued Tang Yin’s interest.
The first thing Tang Yin did was to calculate the number of Spirit Stones he had accumulated together, the amount blew his mind into shock.
There were over 50,000 Low-grade Spirit Stones, 1,073 Mid-grade Spirit Stones and 34 High-grade Spirit Stones. This was equal to the wealth of a peak Spirit Vein Condensation Realm cultivator.
Tang Yin next counted the Medicinal Pills, there were 100+ Medicinal Pills. From the density of the Qi and fragrance of the pills, Tang Yin could tell most of them were Tier 9 Medicinal Pills while a few of them were of the 8th Tier.
Tang Yin could not recognize most of the Medicinal Pills he had, nor their purpose. But he knew that if he sold them all, the amount of Spirit Stones he would receive would be astronomical.
Tier 9 and even Tier 8 Medicinal Pills could not catch Tang Yin’s fancy unless they were unique like the Body Strengthening Pill. Unfortunately, none of the pills he had acquired were Body Strengthening Pills. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
Next, Tang Yin calculated the number of Artifacts he had acquired. There were over 50 Tier 9 Artifacts of various forms and purposes, and a few of the Artifacts were even Tier 8. However, none of them could compare to his Abyssal Sword, so Tang Yin decided to sell these later on.
Another noteworthy spoil Tang Yin received was Martial Skills. He had obtained the numerous Martial Skills of the Shan family. Most of them were Low-grade and High-grade Tier 9 and Tier 8 Martial Skills, there was only one Low-grade Tier 7 Martial Skill.
Tang Yin already possessed various types of Martial Skills from the Heaven Devouring Abyssal Sanskrit, he did not need any Martial Skills. At most he would use them as inspiration and a way to increase his knowledge, it was better to just sell them as well.
There were 2 books which held a large value among the large pile of loot. These were the Tier 9 and Tier 8 Training Manuals, any cultivator could create a family if they possessed a Training Manual. Thus, Training Manuals held a high value. Tang Yin did not need these either, he had the Heaven Devouring Abyss. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Other than this, there were also a large number of herbs, ores, various materials, and Demonic Beast parts which looked very valuable. Tang Yin could not identify these either, he realised just how much knowledge he lacked regarding the treasures of the cultivation world.
This was the generations of wealth accumulated over time by a Rank 1 family. Tang Yin could only imagine the spoils if he looted a Rank 2 or even a Rank 3 family. However, Tang Yin was not such a person, he would not destroy a family unless they provoked him first or he had a reason to annihilate them.
Other than these worldly spoils, Tang Yin had also obtained a large amount of knowledge concerning the cultivation world from using Soul Plunder on the Shan family’s Patriarch. This included a map depicting the local powers around Maple Leaf City.
He had also learned that there were innumerable areas within Bright Yang Continent that were known as Regions. The so-called regions were just to label various miniscule parts of the Bright Yang Continent.
There was a total of 999 regions that made up the whole of Bring Yang Continent. Some regions were large, and some were small. Correspondingly, the larger regions housed stronger cultivators. And the smaller regions were inhabited by weaker cultivators.
For example, Maple Leaf City was currently situated in a region called, Drifblim Region. The Drifblim Region was just an average region within the Bring Yang Continent, most cultivators did not even know the existence of this region unless they were situated within a region that was near the Drifblim Region.
There were countless cities, families and sects like Maple Leaf City within the Drifblim Region. There were also cities and sects much stronger than Maple Leaf City which were ruled by Rank 3 or even Rank 4 families and organizations.
The Drifblim Region was very vast, yet compared to Bright Yang Continent, it was akin to a speck of dust in the universe.
The Shan family’s Patriarch was not strong enough to know much information about the neighbouring regions near the Drifblim Region, he did not even know the names of these neighbouring regions.
