The Toxic Tarantula did not seem to notice Tang Yin and Xiao Fei as it lay lazily on its large spider webs. The spider was 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, its 8 long sharp legs were coated in a dark green venomous toxin. Its appearance made Xiao Fei feel disgusted.
Tang Yin sent a thought to Xiao Fei, she silently dashed towards the sky. She did not become larger but remained small and unnoticeable. Tang Yin slowly inched closer to the Toxic Tarantula, he avoided the dark green venomous spider webs which had tangled the surrounding area.
Tang Yin had arrived as close as he could to the Toxic Tarantula without being noticed, Xiao Fei did the same from the air. Tang Yin sent a thought to Xiao Fei through their connection, the next second Tang Yin injected Abyss Qi into the Abyssal Sword and sent a large sword energy strike towards the Toxic Tarantula. Simultaneously, a large black fireball which seemed to shroud the area in darkness descended from the sky.
Tang Yin and Xiao Fei had launched a surprise attack at the same time from 2 different directions, this left the Toxic Tarantula little to no room to escape.
The Toxic Tarantula was stunned, it did not expect to be under a sudden attack out of nowhere from 2 different directions. It quickly snapped out of its daze and Killing Intent flashed in its eyes. It was a High-tier Rank 2 Demonic Beast, an overlord within Demonic Beast Mountain, any creature that dared to challenge it was just courting death.
The Toxic Tarantula spat out a large venomous spider web that shrouded the heavens, the webs were aimed to counterattack the black flames falling from the sky.
The Toxic Tarantula then imbued its 8 legs with Qi and took a defensive stance to face the Abyssal Sword’s strike. The next second, the Abyssal Sword’s strike arrived and clashed with the spider’s 8 legs. A loud boom shook the surrounding area, the sword energy dissipated, and the Toxic Tarantula appeared largely unscathed.
But this was not the case, with his Heaven Piercing Gaze, Tang Yin had discovered that there were very small cracks that had appeared on all 8 legs of the Toxic Tarantula, the injury was not visible to the naked eye.

A sword energy as strong as the previous one was sent out again, the Toxic Tarantula opened its mouth and spat out a large ball of venom infused with Qi.
The sword energy cut straight through the ball of venom; it had been weakened by half by the encounter but continued travelling forth towards the Toxic Tarantula. The spider used the same method as before by channelling Qi into its 8 legs and using them to defend against the sword energy.
The Toxic Tarantula was pushed back, the distance opened up previously between the spider and the ball of black flames was instantly closed up once more. The Toxic Tarantula let out a shrill scream of fear, it could see another ball of black flames behind the first ball of flames.
Xiao Fei did not idle around after spitting the first ball of black flames, she followed up with another. The Toxic Tarantula quickly got up and dashed towards another direction to escape, it had not noticed the miniscule cracks on its 8 legs becoming slightly larger. This was the work of Tang Yin’s second Abyssal Sword strike.
Tang Yin infused Abyss Qi into his Abyssal Sword once again and swung it in the direction of the Toxic Tarantula’s escape route. He had cut off its path, the Toxic Tarantula had 2 options. freёwebnovel.com
The first option was to turn around and face the 2 large balls of black flames which it dreaded. The other option was to defend against the sword energy and have its momentum stopped, it would be much harder to escape this way.
The Toxic Tarantula let out a screech filled with despair and madness, it burned through its accumulated cultivation to increase its strength for a short time. The spider then infused Qi into every part of its body to create a layer of defence made of Qi, it shot forward into the path of the Abyssal Sword’s strike.
Tang Yin’s pupil shrank, he had caught onto the Toxic Tarantula’s plan. A cold sneer appeared on his face, he injected Abyss Qi into his Abyssal Sword without restraint and continuously slashed it into the Toxic Tarantula’s path. Multiple sword energies appeared in the spider’s path, each wielding power stronger than the last.
The Toxic Tarantula broke through the first sword energy with ease, its momentum only decreasing slightly. Then it encountered the second sword energy, it used the brute force of its layer of protection on its body to break through, and its momentum decreased by an even greater amount.
The Toxic Tarantula continuously broke through Tang Yin’s sword energies, when it had finally broken through the last sword energy, its momentum had come to a complete halt.
The 2 balls of black flames caught up to the Toxic Tarantula within this time and engulfed it. Shrills screeches of pain resounded throughout the area before slowly turning silent.

In truth, Tang Yin had been dumbstruck by the might of Xiao Fei’s so-called Everlasting Hell Flames, it could make a High-tier Rank 2 Demonic Beast dread and escape for its life in the face of the flames. He had only called it average to make Xiao Fei pipe down.
