Chapter 387: Dalliance Discord (5)

’This is White Cloud Mountain? It’s not too shabby, but the Dual Washwood Commerce’s mountain is superior, so I’ll stick to that one.’ Tang Yin mused to himself as he surveyed the mountain in front of him.

White Cloud Mountain rose majestically with its towering peaks and lush, serene surroundings. Nestled amidst the thickets of bamboo and the mystic veils of mist, the mountain served as the lair of the notorious White Cloud Bandits.

He had acquired the location of White Cloud Mountain from Riuzi Aihamaide’s memories during his use of Soul Plunder on the latter’s soul.

Without delay, Tang Yin extended his divine sense to encompass the entirety of White Cloud Mountain. In an instant, Tang Yin familiarized himself with every detail of White Cloud Mountain, including the precise locations of each cultivator on the mountain.

The White Cloud Bandit’s stronghold was a network of hidden caves and rustic timber cabins, camouflaged within the landscape. The main settlement included a grand hall, adorned with silk banners and intricate wooden carvings, where the enigmatic Black Lady resided. The sprawling hideout also comprised of training grounds for martial arts practice and secret chambers for storing their ill-gotten treasures, guarded by fierce henchmen.

Tang Yin’s attention was fixed on a particular enclosure concealed in the depths of a cave network. It was a sizable wooden crate encircled by metal chains and an Array Formation designed to confine something within.

Inside the cabinet, an elderly woman was seated. Her hair had already turned grey, and her face bore deep wrinkles. Her eyes contained a mixture of determination and anxiety. Tang Yin immediately identified her as Elder Anmuna Ansali from the Dual Washwood Commerce.

Tang Yin discerned that the Array Formation confining her within the rusty wooden cabinet was potent enough to restrain even a 9th-stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator, like Elder Anmuna Ansali.

Elder Anmuna Ansali had no alternative but to remain seated, contemplating various escape strategies, though she recognized that success was unlikely.

Even if Elder Anmuna Ansali were to miraculously break free from the clutches of the Array Formation, she would still face the White Cloud Bandits’ leader to escape, Black Lady, who had initially captured her.

Given her power, she would definitely be overpowered once more and imprisoned within the confines of the Array Formation once again.

"Thinking of escaping?" Out of the blue, a frigid voice reached Anmuna Ansali’s ears from behind her.

She swiftly turned her head to locate the origin of the voice and discovered a striking young man with crimson hair standing before her. His face bore an enigmatic grin that left her puzzled.

Without much thought, Anmuna Ansali swiftly lunged at Tang Yin, her 9th Stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivation base surging forth.

"It was foolish of you to enter the Array Formation. Die!" An azure aura enveloped Anmuna Ansali’s hand as she moved toward Tang Yin. She extended her malevolent grasp, aiming to tear Tang Yin apart with her Martial Skill.

Tang Yin responded with a mocking smile. He remained entirely still, firmly planted in place, and fixed Anmuna Ansali with a composed and unwavering gaze, striking terror into her eyes.

In the next instant, all of the Spirit Qi within Anmuna Ansali’s body dissipated. Her Martial Skill crumbled, and the strength within her body waned. She felt as though she had been transformed into an elderly mortal woman, frail and on the verge of death. Her forward momentum was abruptly halted, and she collapsed to her knees, overcome with shock, disbelief, and terror.

"If I hadn’t struck a deal with the Dual Washwood Commerce, I would’ve killed you." Tang Yin muttered. Without pausing for her reaction, he extended his divine sense into her body, causing her to lose consciousness. Then, using the refined Killing Intent of the Ethereal Slaughter Art, he swiftly parried her away.

Tang Yin understood that Anmuna Ansali had wrongly assumed him to be a member of the White Cloud Bandits, leading her to attack him without hesitation.

But he didn’t care. If it weren’t for his arrangement with Riuzi Aihamaide, he would have disposed of her due to her blatant lack of respect, regardless of the circumstances and reasons prompting her to attack him.

The Array Formation that confined Anmuna Ansali was nothing more than a Tier 6 Confinement Barrier Array Formation. It was incapable of detecting Tang Yin’s presence, let alone preventing him from entering or exiting its boundaries. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

With Anmuna Ansali in his possession, Tang Yin proceeded toward the main structure within White Cloud Mountain, which served as the residence of Black Lady and the White Cloud Bandits’ headquarters.

Tang Yin paid no heed to the various Array Formations, protective measures, or guards surrounding Black Lady’s residence and stealthily entered the building.

Inside the grand hall, which was Black Lady’s residence, there was a medium-sized platform located towards the back.

Seated on the platform was a woman with lustrous black hair cascading over her petite shoulders. Her mesmerizing face was attractive enough to captivate the heart of any man. She was Black Lady, the leader of the White Cloud Bandits. At the moment, she sat on the platform, deeply immersed in her cultivation.

"Cultivating, are we?" Tang Yin remarked with enthusiasm, prompting a startled gasp from Black Lady.

Black Lady quickly rose to her feet and faced Tang Yin. She remained cautious and made no sudden movements. "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" She demanded.

"Don’t worry about that. Just drop dead for me." Tang Yin said with a smile.

After Tang Yin spoke, Black Lady unexpectedly collapsed and lay motionless on the platform. His words had become a reality!

Of course, she didn’t actually just drop dead without cause.

Tang Yin had obliterated her soul with a Soul Needle, which was condensed from his divine sense.

Due to Black Lady’s minuscule power as a Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator, she lacked the capability to detect or defend against the Soul Needle, making her defenceless against it.

Following Black Lady’s death, Tang Yin had no plans to linger at the White Cloud Mountain. He extended his divine sense to envelop the entire mountain once more.

This time, it wasn’t merely for observation. He harnessed his divine sense to create numerous Soul Needles and directed them at every cultivator on the White Cloud Mountain, rapidly obliterating their souls. Consequently, all the White Cloud Bandits met their demise simultaneously, just like their leader.

Within the White Cloud Mountain, there were also a considerable number of mortals, primarily women. Tang Yin guessed that these women likely served as servants and were used for the White Cloud Bandits’ amusement and gratification.

Tang Yin paid little attention to these individuals. However, as they were not affiliated with the White Cloud Bandits, he saw no point in massacring them.

In this manner, the infamous White Cloud Bandits were eradicated by a solitary strike from Tang Yin.

Tang Yin promptly erected some simple illusions around White Cloud Mountain to ensure that no outsiders would discover the White Cloud Bandits’ demise and attempt to take over White Cloud Mountain while he was absent.

With the illusions in place, Tang Yin, accompanied by the unconscious Anmuna Ansali, made his way back directly to the Dual Washwood Commerce’s mountain. He had now fulfilled his end of the agreement and anticipated that the Dual Washwood Commerce would be prepared for their relocation upon his return.

With Tang Yin’s speed, it didn’t take him long to reach the Dual Washwood Commerce. However, upon his arrival, a faint frown marked his expression.

Based on what Tang Yin could discern through his divine sense scan of the Dual Washwood Commerce’s mountain, they were still in the process of getting ready for their migration. It appeared that it would be a while before all of them completed their preparations and vacated the mountain.

’Unfortunate.’ Tang Yin thought, a cold and calculating tone in his mind.

In an instant, he vanished and materialized before Riuzi Aihamaide, who was in the midst of discussing some matters with Xiyamu Saman.

"Senior!" Riuzi Aihamaide promptly bowed with deep respect upon Tang Yin’s sudden appearance. Recognizing the significance of Riuzi Aihamaide’s gesture, Xiyamu Saman immediately understood that the crimson-haired, handsome individual with his composed demeanour before them was the powerful cultivator discussed in the recent Elder’s assembly. Consequently, she also bowed and offered her greetings to Tang Yin.

"This is not what we agreed upon. You’re taking too long." Tang Yin stated, disregarding Xiyamu Saman and locking eyes with Riuzi Aihamaide.

"Senior, the Elders raised numerous objections, leading to delays, and-" Before Riuzi Aihamaide could complete his feeble excuse, Tang Yin swiftly destroyed his soul with a Soul Needle.

"I hope you’re more competent than he was. I expect the entire Dual Washwood Commerce to vacate this mountain within the next 10 minutes. I’ve already prepared White Cloud Mountain for your organization’s migration." Tang Yin declared to Xiyamu Saman as he turned his head. He also handed Anmuna Ansali to her.

Xiyamu Saman was utterly shocked and remained in a daze, her mind still processing the loss of her Dao Pair and the sudden responsibility thrust upon her by the formidable senior standing before her. She instinctively caught Anmuna Ansali, trying to make sense of the situation.
