Chapter 324: Hectic Chasm Holy Land

Once the explosion subsided, Yun Qi’s expression turned extremely dark.

What appeared from the settled explosion was a minorly injured Tang Yin. Most of the Abyssal Armour around him had been destroyed once again. His fist was also torn to bloody shreds. Other than that, he seemed fine.

Usually, this would be a good outcome. However, Yun Qi’s Spatial Lockdown had worn off. The separated kilometre of space around them had already reunited with the rest of the world’s space.

Under the suppression of Spatial Lockdown and the bombardment of the Spatial Blade and Explosion, Yun Qi’s opponents would either be severely injured or dead. This included average Mid-stage Principle Manipulation Realm cultivators.

Yun Qi’s battle strength was a minor stage higher than his actual cultivation. Cultivators like this were deemed parallel geniuses. Once one reached the Principle Step, being able to fight above one’s stage was extremely rare.

By utilizing Spatial Lockdown over a radius of a kilometre and simultaneously attacking the opponent, Yun Qi was drained. He barely had any Spirit Qi and Soul Energy left, his soul and body also felt exhausted.

’I have to end the battle with my next move, otherwise, I’ll lose.’ Yun Qi strengthened his determination.

"Spatial Engulfment!" With a ferocious shout, Yun Qi clasped his hands together.

Tang Yin’s pupils constricted rapidly. Without hesitation, he took a peculiar stance and opened his mouth slightly. The distinct image of a roaring dragon manifested around his head. Devastating Void Roar!

Tang Yin precisely controlled the amount of Soul Energy and Abyss Qi he embedded into the Devastating Void Roar. Otherwise, its full power would rival the attack of a Peak-stage Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator.

With Yun Qi’s current depleted condition, he would most likely perish if he utilized the full power of the Devastating Void Roar. Although Tang Yin did not like Yun Qi, he could not kill him in front of his Law Domain Realm master.

A black dot appeared at the centre of Tang Yin’s throat. An instant later, it shot forward as a black beam of light.

Opposing the Devastating Void Roar was a black hole. It wasn’t really a black hole though, it was shaped more like a mouth.

From Qian Zhong and Old Mu’s perspective, it looked as if space itself had opened its mouth and was trying to devour Tang Yin. Whereas Tang Yin unleased a simple black beam of light towards the ’mouth’.

Within an instant, Yun Qi’s Spatial Engulfment and the Devastating Void Roar collided with each other.

BOOOOOOM

The world seemed to freeze for a moment. It was as if time and space itself had frozen in the face of this mighty collision.

Abstract black energy and a devastating shockwave spread out from the explosion. The surrounding Space Principles were forced to scatter, rendering space open for all to see.

Tang Yin and Yun Qi were both far away from each other. However, the magnitude of the explosion was extremely large, so they were actually quite close.

Tang Yin was pushed back whilst ’coughing up blood’. He was pushed back for several kilometres before coming to a stop.

Yun Qi was much worse off. He continuously coughed up huge mouthfuls of blood. His robes were torn to tatters and numerous deep wounds adorned his body. He was pushed back by 20 kilometres before being able to take a proper foothold in the air.

However, before he could even do anything, he spotted a rapidly incoming Tang Yin.

The explosion and impact of the previous attack hadn’t even subsided. Yet, he was still closing in? Was he a madman?

Tang Yin had already fuelled the Abyssal Armour with some Abyss Qi. With it, he was able to withstand the shockwaves and energy still spreading out from the earlier collision. Like this, he continued heading towards Yun Qi.

He could easily pass through the shockwaves and energy emanating from the collision with the sheer durability of his body. However, he didn’t want to expose the power of his body.

Whilst he continued dashing towards Yun Qi, the Abyssal Sword manifested in his right hand. Dense proportions of Abyss Qi swirled around it.

Suddenly, a sigh rang through the air, "That’s enough." With that said, Qian Zhong appeared before Tang Yin, swiftly halting his advancement. He looked at Tang Yin with appreciation in his eyes.

Although he had heard of Tang Yin’s feats through Xu Yun’s narration and had even investigated Tang Yin’s background, he was still astonished by his prowess.

Defeating Yun Qi proved that he had the battle strength of a powerful Late-stage Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator.

Of course, Qian Zhong hadn’t seen all of Tang Yin’s power since he had restrained himself, otherwise, Yun Qi would have lost much quicker. Tang Yin didn’t want to reveal all of his power. Therefore, he hid about 30% of his overall power.

"No! The fight isn’t over!" Yun Qi shouted. He absolutely didn’t want to give up the quota to enter the Hectic Chasm Holy Land.

"This isn’t a battle to the death, it’s a spar." Qian Zhong said neutrally.

Old Mu suddenly appeared beside Yun Qi. Yun Qi seemed to calm down and did not speak any more. It seemed that Old Mu had transmitted something to him through his divine sense.

"We admit our loss. The quota is yours." After saying this, Old Mu grabbed Yun Qi and disappeared.

Qian Zhong was pleasantly surprised. He knew Old Mu well. He wouldn’t give up this easily. A glint flashed in his eyes, but Qian Zhong did not say anything. He would deal with Old Mu’s schemes later.

"Now that the problem is solved, you can enter the Hectic Chasm Holy Land unhindered." Qian Zhong said with a smile.

Tang Yin nodded. There wasn’t much to say.

Qian Zhong grabbed Tang Yin’s shoulder and sped back to the valley. Within a few moments, they arrived back at the valley.

"The procedures and whatnot have already been completed. You just need to go to Hectic Chasm Holy Land." Qian Zhong said.

Tang Yin was stunned. "That’s it? You won’t come with me? And I can just waltz into the Hectic Chasm Holy Land?" He questioned sceptically.

"Anyone who has not gone through the official procedures to enter the Hectic Chasm Holy Land cannot enter it. Don’t worry, you won’t be stopped. You can just enter." Qian Zhong reassured. "Also, take this." He took out a small jade token from his storage ring and gave it to Tang Yin.

"This is?" Tang Yin enquired.

"This contains some information about the Hectic Chasm Holy Land. Memorize all of that information and destroy the jade token." Qian Zhong stated.

Without any delay, Tang Yin immersed his divine sense into the jade token. He immediately memorized everything within a few moments. After memorizing the contents, he destroyed the jade token.

"Good, now go. You won’t be stopped, but I’ll still keep an eye on you until you enter the Hectic Chasm Holy Land." Qian Zhong urged.

"Thank you." Tang Yin said sincerely. Then he shot off into the sky. The Array Formation did not hinder him thanks to Qian Zhong’s assistance. freewebnøvel.com

From what he had seen in the jade token, the Hectic Chasm Holy Land was located at the centre of the 8 defensive outposts. Nobody would be able to get through to the Hectic Chasm Holy Land without showing their identification to one of the outposts.

With his speed, Tang Yin arrived near the Hectic Chasm Holy Land within a few minutes. Although he had seen a description of the Hectic Chasm Holy Land, he was still shocked.

As Tang Yin approached the edge of the expansive landscape, his eyes widened in awe at the sight that awaited them. A magnificent chasm, of unfathomable proportions, unveiled itself before his gaze, captivating his senses with its sheer magnitude and splendour.

Extending across the vast expanse, the chasm stretched for several hundreds of kilometres, its immense breadth rendering it an unparalleled marvel of nature.

The distance between its opposing sides seemed immeasurable as if nature itself had conspired to create a monumental rift in the fabric of the wasteland in which it resided. The expanse was so vast that it defied comprehension, stretching far beyond the limits of mortal perception.

Tang Yin couldn’t help but be enthralled by the breathtaking spectacle. The chasm’s sinuous form snaked through the terrain with an air of ethereal grace, its curvatures blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.

The immensity of the gorge was accentuated by the profound silence that enveloped it, a hushed reverence that seemed to emanate from the very depths of the abyss.

Gazing into the chasm, Tang Yin’s eyes traced the jagged edges that lined its steep sides, as if this desolate wasteland itself had been rent asunder by some divine force.

Weathered rocks and layers of sediment bore witness to the passage of time, hinting at the ancient story etched within the chasm’s depths. The sheer vertical walls, adorned with intricate geological patterns and hues of earthy tones, created a captivating mosaic of nature’s artistry.

Even just standing outside of the Hectic Chasm Holy Land, Tang Yin could feel the dense Space Principles drifting throughout the crevices of the chasm.
