Chapter 261: Heavenly Bamboo Region
The Heavenly Bamboo Region was essentially just a large piece of land nestled with mountain ranges everywhere. It was filled with bamboo trees that seemed to stretch high into the sky.
The Heavenly Bamboo Region was filled with a variety of different Demonic Beasts, and cultivators who wish to harness the abundant Qi of the Heavenly Bamboo Region to further their cultivation.
The bamboo trees were said to have been blessed by the heavens, and they were imbued with a powerful spiritual energy that could enhance the cultivation of those who practice in the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
Unlike Spirit Veins which could be found in mountains. The Heavenly Bamboo Region contained many natural Spirit Springs with abundant Qi. The Qi naturally came from Spirit Veins.
There were also a lot of Spirit Stone Veins in the Heavenly Bamboo Region, making the inhabitant’s pockets full of Spirit Stones.
Due to the natural and abundant Qi inside the Spirit Springs of the Heavenly Bamboo Region, it was a perfect place to raise one’s descendants. Nearly all of the powerful organizations in the Heavenly Bamboo Region occupied one or more Spirit Springs.
After all, Qi did not have a significant impact on powerful cultivators, they needed Spirit Qi. The truly powerful cultivators needed to be surrounded by Principles to help in the comprehension of their Principle. Therefore, powerful cultivators would occupy large Spirit Springs for their families, descendants, organizations, etc.
It was an ideal environment to raise one’s descendants and nurture them into powerful cultivators.
Due to the abundant Qi, the Heavenly Bamboo Region was filled with natural Medicinal Herbs and other treasures. Due to this, the Heavenly Bamboo Region thrived with Alchemists and Forgers and attracted foreign Alchemists and Forgers to take residence in the Region.
The Heavenly Bamboo Region was a couple of hundred kilometres large, and it was a land of wealth of prosperity.
However, what made Tang Yin sceptical was that such a wealthy land filled with wealth, resources and abundant Qi would naturally be coveted by powerful foreign cultivators and organizations.
Tang Yin spread out his divine sense. With his Late-stage Principle Comprehension Realm primary soul, his divine sense could cover an omni-directional radius of 50 kilometres around him. This was basically a quarter of the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
Tang Yin immediately found a Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator with his divine sense.
He was the ancestor of a Rank 4 Family. He was currently in isolation whilst one of his Qi Transformation Realm descendants were in charge of managing the family.
Tang Yin’s divine sense entered the Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator’s Soul Sea and searched his soul.
If one’s divine sense was much more powerful than the target’s soul, they could soul search the target’s soul and obtain their memories. The target wouldn’t even know that their soul had been searched.
In fact, one could even manipulate, erase and implement new memories to a significantly weaker target. However, the difference between the perpetrator’s soul and the target’s soul had to be extremely large.
Tang Yin’s soul was at the level of a Late-stage Principle Comprehension Realm cultivator and the target’s soul was only at the Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm. He could do all of these things.
However, he did not tamper with the Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator’s memories or soul. He simply searched through his memories for information before retracting his divine sense. ƒreewebɳovel.com
He learnt all the information he needed from the Mid-stage Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator’s memories.
There were multiple Rank 5 Organizations and even a single Rank 6 Organization inside the small land of treasures known as the Heaven Bamboo Region.
The leaders of all the Rank 5 Organizations were all Principle Comprehension Realm cultivators.
Therefore, under the suggestion of the only Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator in the Heavenly Bamboo Region, they decided to create a Council.
The Council were compromised of only Principle Comprehension Realm cultivators. They were essentially the most powerful and respected cultivators in the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
The Council were tasked with maintaining order within the Heavenly Bamboo Region. They had to resolve disputes between various different organizations which could escalate to the disunity and decline of the entire Region.
Under the management of the Council, the Heavenly Bamboo Region remained united and prosperous to this day.
The strongest person in the Heavenly Bamboo Region, the Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator, was in isolation all year round. He only left seclusion if there was a problem that the Council could not resolve by themselves.
Other than this, the attitude of the Heavenly Bamboo Region to foreigners was mixed.
Myriads of cultivators streamed into the Heavenly Bamboo Region to trade resources and treasures. In this case, the Heavenly Bamboo Region were respectful and welcoming to these cultivators.
However, there were also many cultivators and organizations that sought to plunder the treasures and resources of the Heavenly Bamboo Region for themselves.
The Heavenly Bamboo Region forbid these cultivators and organizations from entering the Region. The Council would have to personally get involved if things became tense and bloody.
Overall, the Heavenly Bamboo Region was considered a trade hub. Numerous cultivators would come to the Region to trade with the locals and for other purposes.
As long as these cultivators did not harm the environment or display any nefarious intentions towards the Heavenly Bamboo Region, the cultivators of the Heavenly Bamboo Region did not mind their presence.
The Heavenly Bamboo Region was not large, in fact, it was slightly smaller than even the Drifblim Region. However, its wealth, prosperity, resources and abundant Qi attracted even a Principle Manipulation Realm cultivator. A stark contrast to the Drifblim Region which only had Chen Dao Xin as its only Principle Step cultivator.
Tang Yin contemplated for a moment and decided not to enter too deeply into the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
He did not harbour any malicious or nefarious intent towards the Region, therefore, he should be welcomed warmly by the inhabiting cultivators.
However, Tang Yin’s aim was not to mingle with these cultivators. He wanted to go into seclusion and sort out his harvest. Additionally, he had many other things he wanted to complete as well. It would take time.
Tang Yin found one of the very few barren areas inside the Heavenly Bamboo Region. It was a small mountain located around the outskirts of the Region and did not attract any interest from anyone.
Surprisingly, this barren mountain was colonized by a Rank 2 Organization.
After a quick glance, Tang Yin decided to ignore the Rank 2 Organization. There was no reason to destroy them. However, if they did something shady or provoked him in the future, he would mind destroying them.
Tang Yin easily dug out an underground cave with the Ethereal Slaughter Art. Before creating the cave, he made sure to shroud the place with his divine sense. This way, nobody would hear or notice him creating the underground cave.
Once a cultivator’s divine sense reached a powerful enough state, they could generate a defensive/isolation barrier when need be. This barrier would not particularly need to be maintained or focused on constantly, allowing a cultivator to focus on their other tasks without the worry of outside intervention or notice.
Tang Yin knew all of this from Tian Huang’s jade token. The jade token even explained how to efficiently put all of these methods and tricks into practice. His divine sense was also powerful enough to do this now.
However, any cultivator with an even more powerful divine sense than Tang Yin would be able to discover him if they focused on doing so. Only 2 or 3 cultivators in the entire Heavenly Bamboo Region had this power.
Once Tang Yin created his ideal underground cave, he focused on the matter at hand, his second soul.
There were approximately 3 days or so left till his second soul obtained its own sapience, personality and individuality.
Unfortunately, he did not have the time or luxury to search for a method to fuse his secondary soul back into his primary soul.
Tang Yin’s only option was to Devour his secondary soul and hope that the Heaven Devouring Abyss did not turn it into energy but incorporated it back into his primary soul.
Since the Heaven Devouring Abyss seemed to have ’emotions’, this might actually be possible if he tried his best to communicate with it.
Tang Yin sighed softly. He would have to make adequate preparations in the next 3 days to Devour his secondary soul. This was not the difficult part, it also wouldn’t take long.
The truly difficult part was to communicate with the Heaven Devouring Abyss and convey his intentions to it.
No matter what, the end result would decide if his future cultivation path would be cut off or if he could potentially reach the peak of cultivation.
Tang Yin sent his divine sense into his body. It entered the Heaven Devouring Abyss and inspected its core. There was no reaction or movement.
"Heaven Devouring Abyss..." Tang Yin called out in an attempt to communicate with his Martial Spirit.
