Chapter 187: Four Seasons Sect

The Four Seasons Sect was located on the largest island in the south zone. It was called the Four Seasons Island after it was taken over by the Early-stage Principle Comprehension Realm cultivator.

Once Tang Yin arrived before the Four Seasons Island, he was shocked. Although he had seen the Four Seasons Island in the old woman’s memory, he was still shocked when he saw it in person.

The Four Seasons Island was colossal. It was roughly around 1,000,000 kilometres large.

There was a dome of light covering the island. A powerful pressure burst forth from the dome of light followed by a cold voice, "Display your sect token."

Tang Yin brought out the core disciple sect token of the Four Seasons Sect. The divine sense of a Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator scanned Tang Yin’s body and the sect token. freewebnovel.cσ๓

A small gap opened up in the dome of light. The cold voice spoke once again, "Enter."

Tang Yin entered the gap and officially arrived inside Four Seasons Island.

This was a process which all Four Season Sect disciples had to go through. This was to prevent any cultivators from using fake sect tokens or disguise techniques to enter the sect.

Tang Yin’s token was from the old woman, it was not fake. His disguise was also from the Heaven Deceiving Art, a Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator who was not strong enough to see through its concealment.

After entering the Four Seasons Sect. Tang Yin headed towards the old woman’s place of dwelling based on her memory.

As he flew through the island, Tang Yin took in the sights. There were multiple mountains and peaks everywhere.

According to the old woman’s memory. The Four Seasons Sect was split into 3 hierarchical ranks. The outer sect disciples were the lowest. The inner sect disciples were in the middle and the core disciples were of the highest rank among all the disciples. Above the core disciples were the elders and the sect master.

The old woman Tang Yin had killed was one of the strongest core disciples in the Four Seasons Sect. She was respected and feared among all the disciples. There were only a few individuals whose status was higher than hers among the disciples of the Four Seasons Sect.

The Four Seasons Sect was split up into 4 factions. The Summer Hall, Spring Hall, Autumn Hall and the Winter Hall. Each hall had a Spirit Ascension Realm elder leading it.

The Summer Hall was the cultivation profession side of the sect. The cultivators belonging to this faction were all of a specific profession. Some were Alchemists, others were Forgers, and there were also further types of cultivators in this hall who practised the versatile professions of cultivation.

The Spring Hall was where cultivators would go to take up any tasks which could earn them sect contribution points. Cultivators could use the sect contribution points they earnt to exchange for cultivation resources.

The Autumn Hall handled the rough part of the sect. The disciples within this hall were all exceptional individuals who had been through numerous battles. They had to deal with intruders, traitors, deserters etc. They were also the main force which had been dispatched to fight against the north zone.

The Winter Hall was the most feared hall. This hall was reserved for disciples who broke the sect’s rules. They would be punished according to the severity of their crimes.

There were 5 elders in the Four Seasons Sect. 4 of them led the 4 factions of the sect. The last one was the elder who watched over the entry and exit of every disciple to Four Seasons Island.

Tang Yin eventually arrived before a mountain. It was quite large and had a high-quality Spirit Vein underneath it. frёewebnoѵēl.com

Each disciple of the Four Seasons Sect had to find their own mountain, peak, valley etc, to reside in.

The Four Seasons Sect ruled by strength. Those whose cultivation was not high would be defeated by stronger disciples and have their belongings and their cave taken by the winner.

The only rule which the disciples had to abide by was that no casualties were allowed to take place. The winner also couldn’t take all of the loser’s belongings either, only 50%.

However, none of this mattered to Tang Yin though. The old woman was already one of the strongest disciples of the Four Seasons Sect. None dared to challenge her.

Tang Yin entered the cave inside the mountain. It had been created by the old woman. It was quite lavish and was filled with jewellery and feminine decorations. There were also many empty palaces and whatnot located all around the mountain.

This did not bother Tang Yin. He did not need to go through the slow process of absorbing the Qi from the world to cultivate. He had the Heaven Devouring Abyss. He could instantly Devour anything to increase his cultivation.

If he wanted to, he could Devour the Spirit Vein inside of the mountain. However, he chose not to do so. There were no benefits to this. The only way to increase his cultivation was by devouring the Spirit Flames of Qi Transformation Realm and Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators.
